Pros: price, reliability, easy setup

Purchased to replace a thomson tg585 modem wireless router combo for teksavvy adsl- not sure if it was the thomson or system under maintenace, but internet was spotty recently and wanted to give something else a try. Appears to be a bit faster, 2 antannae, looks cool. might run a little cooler than the thomson, don't know for sure. haven't had to reset or anything yet. everyone in the house seems to think the internet is faster.... overall satisifed, wasn't excessively expensive.

Cons: UPNP function doesn't work very well for all games.

Pros: Great chipset.
Comment:
One of the best adsl modems out there. THis modem will synch even at lower signal than 6db meaning for ISP's like colba.net who push line stats to 90%+ that you'll get some decent speed boost over a Dlink DSL-2640B. Router's firmware itself is very reliable: I restart this router about once every 1-3 months while I've installed it to clients who restart it once per year!

Cons: bit of a hassle to set up

Pros: increased my internet speed, don't have to deal with that Siemens se567 from Telus anymore

Cons: Not Gigabit router, only 10/100

Pros: Modem, Wireless Access Point, Router, DHCP client reservations, Ports Forwarding after NAT enabled, no issues so far with 3 units. 3 Web users for added security.
Comment:
First setup took a bit of time, but these Telus DHCP work, and cloning the computer Mac Address before connecting to dsl line resulted in the smoothest startup. Last unit out of the box, on-line in under 2 minutes!Using Quick Setup, VCP 0 VCI 33, IPoE, lLC/Snap-Bridging, Auto IP, Auto DNS, configure wireless, reboot. Clone mac address, Reboot, Connect to dsl line and TELUS is Connected. This is our Third unit and they work Great! Careful using Quick Setup as it resets Wan and Wireless after all your work. VCI 35 for Bell out of the box. Save your working configuration to local computer using backup feature. Easy to set up DHCP reservations using the interface, copy and paste mac address into reservation.

Cons: QSS (WPS) setup does not work with mainstream WPS devices from major manufacturers, cannot login into the unit via https. no simultaneous dual band

Pros: Simple user interface, Good price and good performance, will meet most home users needs, wireless N, some nice security features
Comment:
Bought this when my Telus 2 wire dsl modem died, teid to replace it with a Siemens SE567 but could not do port forwarding with that unit. Wanted a new router modem combination to keep things simple and wanted wireless N. Telus did not have anything that fit the bill, I looked at other manufacturers and though Netgear and D Link had comparable products they were a lot more. I looked har at what I was going to use the unit for and decided I did nto need to pay for all the fancy features and went with the TP-Link.At first I have problems setting it up manually, and was looking up on the internet how to set it up for Telus. That was a big pain as I went through page after page of useless information from users and 'tech experts'. I just ended up popping in the disk that came with it and hey guess what they had a setup for Telus!!!!. Two minutes later all was well, should have gone to the disk first and saved myself and hour of frustration reading mindless rambling.I have not problems with this since I have had it, it has never hung and I have not had to reboot it for any issues. For the money it cannot be beat, you can pay more for other features but see what your needs are and determine if you really need those fancy features. Cons: Antennae a little large. Also, no vertical stand

Pros: Integrated modem + router functionality
Comment:
Easy interface and setup. Bought this because of the positive reviews with TekSavvy! Modem + Wireless Router capability is great for saving space and only having to deal with one interface is less stressful. Highly recommend this product!

Cons: Interface needs work

Pros: Good wireless range, good construction.
Comment:
Networking and internet is faster than the stock Telus Siemens router. Just a note if you want to use this with Telus. It doesn't automatically config, you need to connect it to your existing router so the MAC address will register with Telus, and enter all the router settings manually, After the settings are in, it can be used by itself. Once it's configured, it works very well.

Pros: Cheap. All-in-one product
Comment:
This is a cheap all-in-one product that will replace your modem and wifi router in one. Unfortunately, it happened to me that after over a month of continuous work, to hang. A power reboot helped.

Initially, I was hesitant to purchase a TP-Link product. However, after using this for a couple months it has no issues and I have never needed to reset it since setting it up on the first day.

Cons: Can't install DD-WRT.

Pros: Good value for the price.Combines 2 devices into 1.Vert stable.
Comment:
This is a nice alternative if the modem your ISP gives you is a POS. Very good value and performance for the money. Mine has been running for weeks now without a hitch. Very easy to setup and use and there's a descent amount of features built in.PS- SaskTel reps will swear up and down that only their modems work with SaskTel DSL, but it's not true. Just go into the Quick Setup, set VPI to 8, VCI to 35 and the WAN Link type to IPoE and it should work.

Cons: May have not had it long enough to have any problems.

Pros: Very easy to install. The step by step process was very easy to follow. Had my system running in about 10 minutes.
Comment:
I had a modem and a separate router. I also had lots of problems that I could not trace to either unit. I had to reset the system nearly every day. I have not had to reset the system since I installed this modem router combination. The installation was a snap because the step by step process was the best I have ever seen. At one point in the process the display shows what lights should be on and which should be off if the modem was set up correctly. I noticed that mine were not correct and discovered that I had the wrong network cable attached. Once I made the change, the lights were correct and I could go to the next step.Having less power adapters is also nice. The start up time for my computer to connect to the internet is also much faster than before.

Pros: Good quality/priceNice designA lot of featuresNice stability

Works really great with DSL Service. Wasn't sure to buy a 2 in 1 router/modem but it's working very well. No issues up to date, and it never crashed. The price is also very good for the quality of the product.

Cons: No gigabit ports. 2T2R, but sufficient for many users.

Pros: Includes one DSL filter. Broadcom chipset.
Comment:
All-in-one solution for $52. Works with all DSL providers (Bell, Teksavvy, Telus, etc.) because DSL protocols are standard. Four ports are included, but they are only 10/100. However, there are no all-in-one devices with gigabit ports available from any manufacturer yet.
