Cons: It doesn't have a gigabit port so it will max out at 100mb/sDoesn't work as well unless it is near the device you are trying to connect it to

Pros: CompactBetter than wireless
Comment:
I tried to connect this unit from my router to my computer which is a floor apart on the opposite ends of the house but is only about 30ish feet between the plugs. But I wasn't getting the full 60mb/s connection I am supposed to. I've tried a few different plugs on the router end and finally got to one that was on the same side of the house as my bedroom where my computer is. That plug got the full 60mb/s but the actual distance between the plug is further. So be mindful when you set this up because the wiring in your house seems to play a big part in determining the performance you get. This is a handy little device and I would recommend it. However in my situation I had to get a 25 foot ethernet cable to plug it into a socket across the room from my router which kind of defeats the purpose of the powerline.

Cons: - once every other day it drops connection but that is expected since it is powerline adapters (all do this)- Wish they had web admin page instead of their software tool to access its config page. Not a big deal since u rarely need to use it.

Pros: + Compact design (some powerlines tend to forget about the receptacle shape and so cover the other port which is annoying; this unit is compact to not impede in anyway)+ Simple to configure (plug both in, press button, done)
Comment:
Tried many brands and this one seemed to do the job more properly. The speeds will never be what you hope it will be or as advertised. None are what they advertise. So dont go crying if you buy this thinking you are goign to get what it advertises and be disappointed and return to get a different brand only to find it does exactly the same speeds. I tried about 8 different brands including 1 GB versions. of all this one performed the best in my house.

Cons: The usual caveat on speed with powerline adapters

Pros: Works out of the box
Comment:
Speed is similar to a comparable TRENDnet product. This is the first time I try mixing manufacturers, and I'm happy to find that these work with my existing TRENDnet TPL-406E network just fine. In fact I can use the TRENDnet software to set these up without having to install additional software.

Cons: may have disconnection issues in the first month.

Pros: Plug and play; easy installation. cheap. stable/reliable
Comment:
Bought my first pair 4 months ago for my desktop. only the first month had some connection issues. beyond that, it's been very stable/reliable. figured i might set up the other comps with this and i bought another pair a few weeks ago and that one had the same issue initially ; seldom disconnection but becomes stable after a month.

Cons: small size, but too big when plugin, couldn't block another one, most powerline adapt has same problem.

Pros: easy setup, stable connection, no problem to stream 1080p vedio
Comment:
overall very good on price

Cons: 100Mbps Link

Pros: Plug and Play, Small and Compact, Good Build Quality, FAST!
Comment:
Going from WiFi to Powerline, I have halved my ping and tripled my download speed. It is a shame that the 500Mbps download speed is false advertising considering the link speed is 100Mbps, but still recommend it over WiFi. Was able to download everything from the fappening real quick!

Cons: CD in the box contains outdated utility to manage devices (OK for Windows 8, not 8.1). Goto TP-Link website to download Win 8.1 utility.

Pros: simple to connect, fast, reliable, cheap
Comment:
Picture shows European plug, but you get North American plug (both blades are same size, like a cell phone charger). Very easy installation, fast speed (I get 85% of my normal speed using direct Ethernet -- 45Mbps compared with 53Mbps), same ping (16ms), 45 year old house.

Cons: Has not been entirely stable, but hard to tell if it is the device or the wiring due to the nature of Powerline

Pros: Does the job, Powerline as expected
Comment:
Installed in a reasonably old building, speeds are good although there has been a dropout. As good as can be expected with Powerline.

Cons: lose connection

Pros: smalleasy to install
Comment:
It worked Perfectly fine for about 4 weeks but, as soon as the return date passed it just refused to work. First every few hours it would lose connection, then it just completely failed and would no longer pair. Just go WiFi or direct connection.

Cons: Color but is this really a con ?

Pros: easy of use,
Comment:
I am very happy about this product. I use it from streaming movies from my server (downstair) to a T.V upstair. Speed is constant and im able to stream almost all mkv files. Some files are (i think) too big to get a descent bandwidth and movies are crashing. In the overall i love the product but i should have buy the 1GB version.

Cons: None so far

Pros: Worked right out of the box with no trouble at all. Connection speed good with no drops so far
Comment:
Good product for the price, worked out of the box as advertised with no issues getting the connection. Considering the wiring in the house is relatively old I thought that may have a negative effect but so far units working perfectly

Cons: random disconnection at least once/day.Does not occur that often (1 or 2 times per day) but when it does, it dc's for 1 minute. Usually It occurs during the nights and I would usually be surfing the web at this time so its not a big deal for me but for some it may be.

Pros: Good speed/ping while it is workingplug-and-play
Comment:
Overall i am happy with the product. It is, even though it does dc once in a while, the connection is relatively consistent compared to the wireless. Considering the range my pc is from the router, I am playing games without too much frustration. It is a big step-up from the wireless computer gaming, for sure. However, there are lots of other alternative Powerline adpaters. There would be one that performs well and does not disconnect once in a while like this one. So even though i am satisfied, I dont think i'd recommend this to someone else.
