Surprisingly potent. Effortless to set up. Clean power for sensitive elements. A number of rails with a wide selection of connector possibilities. Exceptional product. Cables are a little stiff but this is a *very* minor nit compared to the package. If you require this much power, this is a fantastic energy supply. Installed with an Asus Rampage III Extreme and "Crazy" level overclocking. Excellent overall performance delivered by this energy supply.

Graciously died in significantly less than 72 hours. It took virtually 72 hours to die. Bought for my asus P6T6 ws mobo with i7-920, 12 mb corsair memory,hd radeon his 5970 x2 in xfire, xfi auzentech sc 2 blue ray dvds and total of four hdd i also had firewire card for editing movies.I had challenges with xfire or so i tought.there had been pci-e slots disapearing and my xfire would fall apart.known as asus they recomended going immediately after my energy supply...Ok I had xigmatek 1200watt but fine at some point I am going to develop a different rig so I will use new energy provide.Right after instaling new antec and turning it on i fell of my chair after that horrible noise like I had a vacvuum cleaner turned on.morover that higher noise was not continual that at some point you get utilized to but consistently up and ,down and up,up and down.UNBERABLE.difficulties did not go away but power provide ultimately died? powering up ok but nothing at all on screen.I place back my xigmatek and icomputer is functioning and so quiet..I changed my firewire card from bytecc(JUNK) to rosewill and factors stabilised to a point xfire is holding. New Egg RMA'ed the item This power provide is not fully modular but is advertised as modular. Lots of useless cables floating around in your case, taking up space. Do not acquire this case if you have cable management in mind.

This thing supplies power, what more can you ask for?Runs all my rapid stuff. Cords had been extra lengthy for complete size circumstances. I was expecting every single cord to hook into the energy provide and be removable; as an alternative you get a normal power supply with about four removable cords. For that it gets four eggs.

Certainly beautiful, cavernous, effectively believed out. I didn't believe I could like a case this much, I imply, a case is a case, right? This one particular is really good. Most excited I've been by a laptop buy in many moons. AMD PhenomX4 955 runs at 35C with fans on lowest setting. Considerably quieter than my LianLi case was. None

Far more than enough power to run a 980X and a 5970ưx5870 with 2 hard disks an xfi and six DIMM's of ram in a HAF-X stuffed to the gills with fans without having complaint.incredibly good looking with the red strip scheme and the bold 1200 logo.impressively steady power.all cables are sleeved, and emmit a intoxicating aroma of new plastic(i have a point for that lol)very quiet aswell for a 80 mil fan. practically nothing sufficient to even Feel about taking an egg away. just a couple of minor quirks you may want to be conscious of.the power cache cabling appear cool, but would be a discomfort to route in a tight case. the HAF-X has no such troubles.and a pair of sixư and six pin jacks are on the identical cable, but this allowed me to run much less cabling, this could be a con, but i didnt notice any energy primarily based instability so it wasnt for me. i've owned several antec energy supplies in the past, and i still do. they in no way die. i nevertheless own a couple old 300-400 watt antec units in several old pc's. this was a heavy aspect in my buy selection. they have shown excellent reliability in the previous, and hope this unit is just as trustworthy.

Black and attractive, i didnt have any problems creating the cables look awsome in my full tower case. i hugely propose if you have the income to buy this thing. Just an all about excellent PSU. its a small longer that most PSU's, probably 2 inches. no huge deal for me but somebody whos cramming this issue in a mid or something may well have troubles.

It offers ample energy and right after operating a i7 three.33 Ghz machine for 6 hours, the PSU is cool to the touch. Bit longer than regular PSU's, but my case was big. I can see where it could be a difficulty. The largest con is that although it has 4 module plugs, it also has substantially too numerous hardwired cables. It has hardwired cables for Motherboard, PCIe, CPU, SATA, and typical four pin molex. Every single one has several connectors on it. I would have rather had just the Motherboard, CPU, and maybe a single PCIe difficult wired. The SATA and typical four pin molex need to have certainly been modular. The length of the PSU can be a concern. My case is 19" deep, but if it have been any significantly less, the cables from the PSU would be up against the really hard drive bays (my case as the PSU on the bottom). Manufacturer Response:Thanks for the feedback! We just launched the HCP-1200 which has fewer additional cables, permitting you to maintain your case tidy.External Link(s): HCP-1200 Newegg web page|

-I waited a couple of weeks to see if there was any drop in efficiency running my setup, and there's been none.-The PCIe cables threw me for a loop, as on every cable there is a 6 AND sixư. Haven't observed that ahead of. -Plenty of muscle. And hopefully far more trusted than the Corsair HX1000W. Two of these died on me in eight months. -Antec Client Help has always been excellent. So if there's ever any problems, I know they'll be there. -Price tag. But I guess you get what you spend for. In this case, certainly correct!-The sixư pin on the PCIe cable is rather tough to bend. I suppose it wouldn't be if the user cared practically nothing for cable management. I'm not one of these, though.-No power switch. -Kinda goofy energy cord. Not specifically anything you can go over to The Shack and get. this is the second antec psu that i have bought. each function good. not positive to why they created this psu this way. specs are a bit miss major!!!!! the 6pin pcie connectors are attached with the 8 pin. so they are sharing the very same power in the wires. as opposed to my 1000watter antec with separate 6 and eight pin i had to drop a single egg for the con. works just fine with lots of energy for my two 5870's, 980x, and so on.

Cons: no power button, and the power cable is proprietary (non-standard)

Pros: 1200 watt, with extra inline capacitors to make sure the power draws from the cpu(s) or gpu(s) are always available, also noted by Linus, the racing stripes do make it faster!
Comment:
Very nice, this PSU is replacing a Coolermaster 750watt (overworked and blew due to unreliable power). Now all I need is a UPS and I can stop worrying about power spikes and brown outs ruining this brand new PSU.

Its quite considerably like your standard energy supply as far as expecting it to energy all your components.* lots of connectorsꗰ sli + 9800gt physx I on't like that its not completely modular, but for my search criteria, it was all i could uncover...*cables should be perhaps three" or so longer for big cases 齠d)*knobs close to end of connectors are a discomfort in the rear to operate about and manipulate without more slack - and they look like a bragging gimmick; they just get in the way*not completely modular - i believe i may possibly go with an x4 1600 or 1200 regardless of their less efficient qualities I would personally get an x4 because they are fully modular which is what i would have preferred, but newegg didn't carry the a single i wanted anyways heres my setup in case you need to know what it operates with:R3E980x + v8 cooler12gb dominator gt 1866480s sli9800gt physxdlink n cardx-fi ti fat pro4hdd ƒ 2tb two 1.5tb all wd caviar blacks)sata dvd burner

As of this writing, this would be the only real contender for Quad SLI/Crossfire on the block. I wouldn't waste my time purchasing a diverse PSU None Has enough Cabeling and Power for your needs. It's a fantastic buy. It works excellent in my method and I'm operating Quad 285s and http://www.newegg.comŴFProductŴFProduct.aspxŵFItemŵDN82E16813188059&h=d88a2dd6f37983f330fe258a15d38e68 for a motherboard. Operates good but it's an pricey setup but effectively worth it for my demands due to the fact I'm a developer and like to do a lot of testing. When you get your CPU don't go cheap, you're going to want the bandwidth.

Modular, LOTS of connectors supplied, rock solid power hence far. Powers my i7 system with dual 5970s without having a challenge. 1200 WATTS!! There's no on/off switch. I thought this was kind of weird. Also the energy cable has a nonstandard design. Nonetheless I consider losing the power cable is quite unlikely. The color scheme and looks are excellent. Black and red with racing stripes, matches my EVGA classified nicely! Oh it is also a touch longer than the usual ATX psu.

Lots of energy, lots of cables. Black and red matched my color scheme. 5 yr warranty No power off switch. PowerCache Capacitors are really huge 1 1ǘ lengthy and nearly 3ǚ wide. They are not flexible and could lead to cable management concerns if your case is not huge enough. 1200 Watts of energy and a semi modular design. The permanently attatched cables had been all i needed to run my system with two GTX 295 Co-Ops. The possibility to go quad SLI or Crossfire. The 24pin ATX power cable is a bit stiff to operate with. The rear fan sounds like its touching a thing on the inside resulting in a quite faint clicking sound. Anything correct down to the color sceme operates for my program. Runs my Classy mobo, i7 920 OC, two dvd drives, two WD 1TB HDD, three 120mm fans, Corsair H50, two GTX 295 co-ops in quad SLI, and a cold cathode light kit in my thermaltake armor with just the permanent cables.

Cons: Not gonna lie. This thing is Heavy...

Pros: This monster can handle anything in your case.
Comment:
This big monster handles any hardware and also look fantastic in the case! Only thing I don't like about this power supply is the weight. With all the cables its almost 5kg.If you are gonna build your rig in big fat heavy cases like cosmos 2 and don't bother to move it around, then get this.
