Cons: Drivers are a little finicky under linux.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do.
Comment:
I bought this to help out my daughters htpc laptop in the basement. Boosted the onboard reception from ~70% to 100%. Running on a linux OS and it found the drivers automatically. However, every third restart or so the drivers can't be found (odd that) but rebooting the system takes care of it. Would recommend it, especially for windows users as it comes with all needed drivers on disc.
