The Ultra X3 ULT 40073 is the best power supply I have ever bought. The modular design allows you to only run the power cables you need. Eliminating the clutter inside your case and increasing air flow. The large number of connections makes it great for high end systems. I am running a system with 2 PCI-E video cards and I have plenty of power. Item comes with lots of cords, and instructions. I have not had a bad experience with any Ultra products.

This is a great power supply. The modular design is great. I didn't have the problem of the cables being ''stiff'' as some have mentioned. The fan is quiet and efficient. The plugs are a little difficult to get seated in the jacks, but not a big problem.

I have been using ultra products for quite some time now, i can't say enough about their quality. I own and have built many computers with ultra power supplies & you just can't go wrong. Modular cables are a lot slimmer than the original modular supply from few years back, which is still running great. Make sure you register online to recieve lifetime warranty!

Installed this in my system due to other power supply going bad. The modular cables are excellent and keeps clutter down inside the box. It is a little noisier than I was hoping for, but I guess with the large fan it is hard to get it any quieter. Other than that, no complaints and it is great value for the money.

Works great, quiet, easy install. Modular makes it a lot easier. I put this in a Dell Studio 540, so for anyone with that computer, it fits fine. It's a little snug but you should be able to squeeze it in there.

I had this power supply for 3 months and it is still working, it is a little bit heavy but no big deal, also this is my first modular PSU.

I had the older model, which was also modular but had a chromed finish rather than the mirrored black finish. Was very happy with it until I turned on this one. Because of the bigger fan, this one is even quieter. Great product. Love all of the cords they include, although I did have to borrow one from the old one to hook everything I needed up (don't remember which one it was).

Built my 2nd PC to replace an old clunker not worth updating. This modular PS worked great right out of the box, no issues installing, the fan is quiet as a mouse. Plenty of outputs and a good supply of power cords for future expansions as required. Well built supply, good value for the $. In operation for 2 weeks.

This is my second Ultra modular power supply. I was so happy with the first one, I bought another larger one. For the amount of power this supply can handle, it's very low noise. The modular design allows you to only have the cables you need, improving access and air flow. Worth every penny.

I installed three of these in different chassis to decrease the amount of power that my overall setup was using. The units came with a wide assortment of modular cables that made the installation easy and clean. The runtime on my Cyberpower Green UPS's increased rose from 12 minutes to over 50 minutes.

This is my first modular PSU and it's what all power supplies should be - plenty of juice and modular. No problems at all and an unexpected stability (must be the extra power.)

This is slightly larger than the OEM power supply, and barely fit into the case for me. I just got it to fit and it works very well.

I had a 500 watt Ultra which blew the fuse and was told under the warranty that they just replace the unit. They sent me a new one and expected me to send the old one to the USA at my cost. I didn't think that was fair so I contacted the store and the manager said he would exchange it so I refused the shipment from ultra. After installing a new MB, CPU and memory the computer would only run for about 5 seconds. After paying about $67.00 for a diagnostic and 2 days I found out that the replacement power supply was faulty. Got another one and now everything is fine. I must say that I love the modular design...only use the cables you need.

What appealed to me about this power supply was the number of connectors and the modular nature of them. This was VERY easy to install and since I only installed the power connectors I needed, the installation was very clean.

Product lasted 1 year before warranty. It's a 3yr "LIMITED" warranty. Good luck on trying to contact them. Anytime I call I get the message "We are currently closed, please call back Mon-Fri from 9AM-9PM" Still no response from email either.

I like Ultra products - that said this unit really surprised me! It comes with all the cables you will ever need in their own nice storage box! That in itself is a huge savings making this value even better. This keeps them all together waiting for their next use. The modular design makes connections simple and easy. I even let my son help, he breaks everything! LOL! Really though , this was worth every penny and has been giving the nice even power needed in high demand situations like intense gaming and doing it quietly! Had to doublecheck when I first turned it on it was so quiet! 600 watts should cover you in your upgrades for some time to come. Well placed investment. Go for it!
