Product looks good, works well and is a good value. My family likes not getting their laps cooked. It provides a more stable platform when used on your lap. It raises the computer up which makes it more comfortable to use, and the angle it puts the computer at is more comfortable both in your lap and on the table. |

I had an outlet for LAN at home and could not tell if the CAT5e connection was properly wired. Now I know that the wiring is correct and I can concentrate on the computer side to determine why I can't log onto my wired network. |

Works good for testing twisted pair cable. One thing to note though is that it does not test coaxial TV cable. It only tests coaxial cable in networking implementations. |

For the price, I indicated it had good features. You can't certify or perform detailed diagnostics, but if you happen to lose it, you're not out hundreds of dollars either. Highly recommended for basic verification |

If you don't have a cable tester, get one. I used this to troubleshoot an HDMI to CAT6 extender. It let me know that the fifth wire in the CAT6 was wired incorrectly to the wall jack. It saved me hours because I knew the wiring worked before I ever plugged anything into it. |

I bought this item about 2 weeks ago. Now I'm looking to have it replaced. I was testing RJ11 and it shorted the tester unit.
