Bought this enclosure to allow backup of office files. We alternate 2 500GB drives between onsite and offsite. The Ultra enclosure worked without problems, although I still haven't configured it for hot swap. The drives were a very tight fit the first time they were installed, after that it's an easy process. The ejectors have worked properly. |

Quality 4 of 5 because the drive ejection levers are non-reinforced plastics, which raises a SMALL concern for long-term use. Otherwise, I am very pleased. This allows me to create, huge permanent, fast, updateable video archives for clients by swapping inexpensive 2.5-inch drives. Installation was a snap for Vista and Windows 7. |

Works exactly as specified. I'm happy as it's used to store two sshd's. The latches are plastic and a little flimsy but I don't remove the drives very often. Not sure if transfer rates are influenced by this enclosure. |

I had a few laptops down and I needed the data from the HDDs. This little demon bottled right in and started working. I have a full tower so I had to adapt a power cord from at to sata and the drive only handles sata drives, but those are the only draw backs. It is like adding two more Hdds. I use them for back ups. It is great but I should have read a little closer because I have two smaller drives that need one for IDE and this unit does not do that. Great Price. |

Ultra does it again. Perfect holder for raid 0 array of ssds. No one needs floppy disk anymore. Well built. Nice looks.Homerun Pros Locking mechanism Looks Hot swaping Eject button and lever Cons It doesn't self mount. |

I've bought many accessories over the years from Ultra and the quality has never been in question. This product is no different as it is a nice metallic finish which is sturdy and not like those cheap plastic enclosures. With the prices of SSDs coming down this is a great add-on to any pc Build. Highly recommended since easy to install & Great quality build. |
