It's major. It's wide. It's vibrant. It has VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs and we utilised a distinct one on each and every of three installations. The value was exceptional for 2010 New Years Eve. It functions properly. The warranty sticker comes off effortlessly. Mine came off when I removed the plastic wrapping around the edges. It's a black sticker on the bottom left edge, under the VGA connector. The warranty is now "void", according to the sticker. The warranty sticker was stuck to the plastic wrap and just came off when I pulled the wrap off. If you obtain one, unwrap the edges meticulously, preferably just before setting it up. I'm not saying I'll will need warranty service inside two years, but if I do, it will be a severe concern. Extremely tiny in the way of directions on adjustments which take a handful of minutes to figure out. Glossy black plastic frame and stand with reflections difficult on the eyes - I would have preferred a flat black. I had to turn the brightness down to zero in order to adjust the colour profile on my Mac. We purchased 3 of these based on the evaluations in Newegg and immediately after an hour or two, I can say we are otherwise pleased with them especially compared to the ancient junk 17-inch CRT monitors they replaced. They're not the higher end monitors, but with out any fluorescent backlights I'm hoping they'll last us for a long time. As soon as I had the Mac diplay profile down, I readjusted the contrast and brightness to a far more comfy level. There are numerous various modes: gaming, theater, scenery, standard and night view. Each and every 1 must be set separately. |

Stunning, Vibrant, Clear Display!!!! Bought 3 of these for my new eyefinity setup! Dig the 2ms response time. These monitors are quite bright and vivid. Took my eyes a even though to adjust lol. None! Ask me in six months. I have read people seasoned issues w/t ghosting. This has not been an problem for me. All 3 montiors run gorgeous!!!! First monitors I bought from ASUS. Quite impressive. Typically I have been a die difficult Samsung fan. Lets see how lengthy they final. five eggs! |

Cost, LED, solid stand, vibrant, good with dark shades, no dead pixels upon delivery. Noticeable ghosting from dark text over a light background. I see it continually even though browsing the net, which is very annoying to a detail oriented individual. Clear screen, no shadowing, HDMI input, ran it straight for 24 hours and had NO dead pixels. Very quiet sound Purchased this for my daughter so she can watch Television in her bed at evening as she has a habit of waking up in the middle of the night and just about waking every person up.Being that the speakers are quiet and that the sound is handled through HDMI this was a best setup and was mounted to the ceiling. |

Some of the best picture excellent I have ever observed. Top notch for videos, games, and media. The presets come in genuinely handy in fact. A quantity of testimonials have stated they see ghosting in games and such. No account of that for mine. The speakers suck. Who buys a show like this and doesn't have genuine speakers anyway? Just make the display cheaper and lighter and leave them off. Asus makes rock solid stuff. No dead pixels. No hiccups. Powers on each time and looks fantastic doing it. I am dual monitors with them and its a content planet about right here. |

Purchased this about a month ago for my birthday soon after creating a new system over the summer season. Wanted a good monitor to take advantage of my amazing vid card and just wanted an update from my old 21" with a VGA input.-ZERO dead pixels! :)-LED lighting is excellent, hardly any strain on the eyes and much less than half the power consumption of a common LCD monitor (mine runs in between 25-30W)-24" 16ɍ, massive image! The colors are incredibly vivid, picture is stunning.-HDMI compatible, so you can use it with other electronics (awesome with my PS3, watched season finale of Dexter on it as well!)-Light and compact, generally nice.-Comes with DVI and VGA cables-Ordered on Monday evening, recieved Wednesday morning. Newegg rocks. -The only Actual con is that the speakers are sub par but that truly isn't an challenge at all unless i am sticking my PS3/TV in there and not plugging in speakers with it. Otherwise if i weren't told it has them I wouldn't even know there had been speakers.Dispelling some conceived cons:-The stand is a small "flimsy" in that the monitor wobbles a bit if you prod it, but it is supported just fine and has no troubles standing.-Default settings are a bit vibrant at 1st but a tiny tweaking (i truly just needed to switch to the "night time" pre set), you will overlook about it within a day or two.-I can notice a tiny bit of ghosting when i intentionally attempt to induce it (dragging firefox window), but only on the toolbar with the gray background and such and not at all on the internet websites itself. Never ever noticed any ghosting although gaming or watching motion pictures. Running with a Asus Radeon HD 5850, DVI cables.General very pleased with my buy and would surely suggest it to someone looking for a new monitor. |

I have this set up subsequent to my old LCD (think birds) and the image is not as great. I now have a three yr old LCD, a 1 yr old Korean LCD and this Asus. The old bird has the best picture. |

Certainly beautiful image. NO GHOSTING as others claimed. I actually want peeps would understand what ghosting is, and quit providing damaging testimonials to anything that does not deserve it. NO dead pixels, bought five of these, and all 5 are superb. One of the 5 I purchased had the 'void if removed' sticker come off with the protective film that these monitors come plastered in. I truly believe ASUS demands to look at this concern as been a few other evaluations here state the similar situation taking place. LED monitor, quite bright crisp and clear. Superb image in video, games and text. Just wonderful. |

Decent color accuracy for TN panel. Lots of connection selections (DVI, VGA, HDMI) for accepting input from nearly anything. Price tag. Had severe ghosting difficulties on my technique. Scrolling down a page of text left behind a comprehensive afterimage of the text. Slight juddering during video playback. Ghosting/Tracing issue present in all workplace and gaming makes use of. Apparently the ghosting is a widespread challenge with this monitor, but doesn't occurr on all of them. At times it's a matter of becoming connected to an nvidia vs ati video card. But A) I'm not obtaining a new videocard just so my monitor stops ghosting and B) That's still a defect. So if it works for you with out tracing difficulties, good monitor. Otherwise...look elsewhere. |

Just two far more inches, but it tends to make a massive distinction. none. controls are intuitive. does what it is supposed to. I'm in CT. The screen is big and the quality is decent The ghosting issue truly needs to be addressed by ASUS. With a 2ms response time there must not be any ghosting what so ever, nevertheless this doesn't appear to be correct as ghosting is a seriously obvious problem. Also I don't really notice any improvement in blacks with the LED backlight. I can not advise this monitor to everyone till this problem is fixed and I will try RMAing my monitor or seeing if there is any possibility of returning it.Very disappointed |

you get what you pay for... the LCD LED BACKLIGHT was a hell of a upgrade from my old LCD monitor... the colors just pop out so clear so nice... the sticker on the bottom comes off less difficult then i although. i was afraid it would leave sticky stuff all over the bottom of the monitor. it dos not :) out of two monitors that i got there is 1 dead pixel and its stuck on blue... i like the buttons on the bottom of the monitors effortless to get to when you have additional then a single monitor :) i did not hook up the speakers so i cant comment on em. |
