Cons: Not sure if it will comply with my Powercolor Radeon HD 6850 775MHZ 1GB 4.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E Video Card.

Pros: Its the ASUS VG236H 23IN 1080P 120HZ 3D Vision Ready LCD Monitor W/ 3D Vision Kit.
Comment:
Iv just bought this monitor this morning out of just wanting a 3DHD Monitor for my computer, not thinking if it would be compatible with my PC or not, I have a Powercolor Radeon HD 6850 775MHZ 1GB 4.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI DisplayPort HDMI PCI-E Video Card in my computer now... will it still work? I'm scared...

Cons: glossy screen produce alot of glare and attract lint and fingerprints, lacks vga port

Pros: smooth animations at 120hz, good contrast ratio, 3d glasses bundle make it a good buy.
Comment:
- power consumption is comparable to other non led monitors.- 3d doesnt work on HDMI v1.4 either (max support: 75hz)- the supplied DVI cable is special, dont loose it if you want to watch 3d.- both glasses and monitor are finger print and lint magnet.- when 3d mode is on, it automatically adjusts brightness.- for 3d, you need a nvidia video card for sure.- no vga port.- so far, performance is good.

Cons: - Expensive as all get out.- 3D Mode sometimes doesn't completely disengage, like if a game crashes while the monitor was in 3D Mode, you have to change the refresh rate to make it go back to standard mode (and thus not burn your eyes out.)- Is incredibly bright and has a blue tinge out of the box. Setting brightness to 66 seems to bring everything back to normal colours, though.

Pros: + 120 hz display is snappy and responsive.+ Support for nVidia 3D Vision+ Mine had a few stuck pixels, but no dead pixels.
Comment:
I've owned this monitor for a couple of weeks now, and have used it in both 3D and non 3D mode, as well as just at 60hz and then again at 120hz after my GTX 580s came in a separate shipment. The monitor is very fast and responsive, and I've noticed absolutely no ghosting yet when playing video games, although I did notice a tiny bit of smearing when playing Blu-rays, but only through one program, so it could be PowerDVD's fault, and not the monitor itself. This SKU comes with the nVidia 3D Vision kit bundled in, but all the software on the discs is the European version, so when installing and setting up 3D Vision, if you need to read an FAQ, it tries to take you to nVidia.eu instead of nvidia.comAll in all, yeah, I'd highly recommend this monitor, but only if you can stand how bright it is. I found I had to move back a bit from my desk and always keep a lamp on, because in complete darkness.. this monitor makes my eyes burn, even when brightness is turned way down.

Cons: A bit expensive stillTakes some getting used too as it can be hard on the eyesSetup can be tricky and setup will require tweaking for best 3d performance on different games. In box documentation is somewhat lacking

Pros: Give games extra immersion and depthSmooth movementsNo new electronics smell from the lcdClear and vibrant screen
Comment:
At first i was very sceptical about how well 3d vision would work on a pc. I picked up this setup a few days ago and so far it has been fantastic. Playing games in 3d allows you to feel more of a connection to the game and adds a lot of depth. The experience changes depending on the game, Call of Duty 4 looked ok but despite being rated higher for 3d by nvidia, i found Call of Duty 2 looked 10x better. Looking down the gun sights proved easier and more accurate than using them in 2d, not to mention the weapons appear to stick out of the screen and bolt action rifle reloads give the feeling of bolt being inches from your face during a reload. All this was at 10% depth. Other notable effects during some games were, lingering gun smoke, explosions, flying debris and fire effects. In many games the 3d effect is subtle but still adds a lot to the game. Performance wise i noticed little to no framerate decrease during games. Metro 2033 at 1920x1080 still played smoothly using a Q6600, 4gb of ram and 460gtx. As did crysis and call of duty 4A word of warning, uninstall all of your nvidia drivers and download the full 3d vision 3d from nvidia. This will avoid any setup problems such as the one i had. Also my first impression was to send this kit back to ncix. It seems that your eyes will take a few days to get used to seeing in 3d. The first night i had a headache after 30 minutes. Now everytime time i play in 3d my eyes adjust a lot faster. Now it takes only a few seconds. I'm also finding that i can increase the depth controls slightly each day. The monitor is amazingly clear but will require some adjustment to prevent your retina's from being burn't out. Movies and windows navigation are smoother and more accurate than non 120khz lcd's. One notable thing was the absence of new electronics smell. Most lcd's i have bought in the past caused me to open windows during the first week or two to vent the smell. While the price may seem high for something you cant try before purchasing nvidia's 3d vision is well worth the $$$.

Cons: Some games are still not fully compatible.

Pros: The 3D is truly amazing and Nvidia has come a long way. Both Asus monitor and Nvidia glasses are top quality products.Lots of games to play and the list is getting larger by the day.
Comment:
Wow, I'm very happy with this bundle and anyone with $600 in there pocket should run to NCIX and pick this bad boy up. I plugged it in last night and I couldn't go to sleep, I was up until 4am and just about didn't make it to work. This product is amazing. All your games will be 10 times as much fun as before. A week ago I couldn't figure out what I wanted to play when I had time, now I want to play everything all the time. There are really no cons with the deal, there are a few games that you have to adjust the settings on because of sloppy programming from the developers part but most new games are perfect. Nvidia has done a great job with all the controls and adjustments you would need. Oh yea, make sure you put depth up to 75%, at default it's only set to 15%.

Cons: Glasses are still too expensive. Can't buy yet without a bundle.

Pros: 120hz is excellent even with not using 3D.3D rocks and is usable in most games.Low cost compared to alternatives.Higher quality than most other 3D monitors.
Comment:
The 16 page complain thread on the Nvida forums has NOTHING to do with this monitor, in fact the entirety of the thread happened before this monitor was even released. I have had zero issues with ghosting on this monitor. In fact looking at the same spots in the same games as those shown in that thread there I see nothing similar to what they are seeing. Adjusting convergence would probably fix 90% of these peoples issues, anyway.Monitor will be sold alone in August so anyone wanting a second or third should wait until then, which is when I will buy my second and third.
