Bought two of these to replace tired, old 17 inch monitors and they are perfect. Internal speakers are nothing to write home about, but area nice little addition where sound quality is not a factor. Menu is not innate, which is why I gave it 4 stars for features, but make no mistake - the color, brightness and picture quality are outstanding. Buy! Buy! Buy! |

I soent hours researching monitors before I chose this one. I'm not disappointed at all. It's outstanding, especially for the price. I didn't need speakers but they aren't half bad for built in ones. I've had it for weeks and haven't even tried the special features. After plugging it in and turning it on the only adjustment I've made is reducing brightness over 50%. It looks perfect as it. My only complaint is the glossy frame which reflects a background window. However it hasn't been annoying enough to fix with a little ingenuity. |

We gave this to our son for Christmas and he's very picky about monitors. He is thrilled with is product! Said he wishes had this in a TV!! Sharp, clear, brilliant color. This is a great buy! He is in fact using to watch TV off the Internet with it right now. Great for streaming video. You won't be disappointed! |

Cons: Integrated speakers are crappy. Good for operating sound events only. Not for music listening over prolonged periods.

I had baught 1 because I needed a cheap monitor fast. I was so satisfied I baught 2 more. I would consider buying this again should I need another. Can't beleive I paid 124$ CAD with price match for them.Yes! I was about to forget to tell you not to caugh or sneeze at this monitor for is gets dirty fast and, like any LCD screen, is hard to get clean again. My wife purchased this monitor for me and it's pretty awesome! Arrived a few days later than expected but no big deal. No dead pixels, clear and bright picture. No complaints there. Only problem is there was no driver cd, unlike other monitors I have purchased. Under Vista, shows as Generic PnP Monitor.Other than that, no complaints. |

A fantastic monitor. Good price, excellent clarity and sharp, crisp colors. The externals look great too, I love the style of the Asus VH series. The finish shows fingerprints fairly easily along the bezel, but that is the same as most other LCD's. Really impressed with Asus monitors, they are all I recommend my clients use now. |
I puchased this for office use. It is fairly stylish and sits sturdily. No bad pixels, as far as I could tell. With midtones the screen seems to lighten a bit from top to bottom. It isn't too noticable and doesn't seem to effect darker tones. I was pleasantly surprised that it had built-in speakers. The quality isn't very good - the audio sounds a bit muffled. Poor for music but fine for listening to training material or other office stuff. I ordered this (and a few other items) on the morning of Feb 18 and it arrived on the afternoon of Feb 22.
