Cons: Button is quite hard to use.

Pros: Good price. Support HDMI, DVI-D and D-Sub. Build-in speaker
Comment:
Very nice monitor. You can choose from 3 different video input. Good brightness and contrast ratio. Color is warm. Picture is not as sharp as LED. But that's only when I put it side by side with an LED monitor, then I can tell the different.Speaker is not the best but convince. Extra audio output is great, but bad location. It is behind the screen and facing down, hard to reach. The worst part is the button, at the front, also facing down. Since 23" LCD monitor is light, push the button will lift the monitor up too. Need to think further ! No need to mention about the not so easy menu option arrangement...This monitor is a good piece of hardware. Functional solid but without too much thoughts on the usability.

Cons: none so far (but i'm not an expert in screen, so maybe there are some that i don't know of...)The integrated speakers are really not the best, but who's going to use that anyway...

Pros: PriceResolutionSpeedVGA + DVI + HDMI plugs
Comment:
This Screen is a pretty good screen for a limited budget. I've been happy with asus products in the past, but it is the first time I bought a screen from them, so far, I am very happy. No obvious flaws so far, was recognize imediatly by my laptop (using it as a secondary screen for now) and no dead pixel.I recommand it !

Good screen with good colors. This monitor has many interfaces. The only thing that sucked was configuring the settings.... The buttons are not that intuitive to remember or to use but is possible....

Cons: None so far

Pros: Looks good, sturdy, no dead/stuck pixels, decent intergrated speakers.
Comment:
The sreen was well packaged and came with every thing it needed. The stand is sturdy and the whole gives a feeling of overall good quality. Image is great with nice brightness, sharp image and no ghosting. Inspected it for dead/stuck pixels but found none. SO far I'm satisfied with the product, especially for the price.

Cons: BulkyNo height adjustment

Pros: Good colours
Comment:
Good monitor for the price ($169.99). Very good image, and colour reproduction. The only thing I don't like about it is it's bevel is pretty big and the monitor is pretty thick, but that's not a big deal.

Cons: OSD menus are poorly designed.

Pros: HDMI, built in speakers, affordable price
Comment:
I own three of these monitors now, all lined up on my desktop video work station so I must like them. I'd love to have some 27" WQXGA displays, but for what ONE of those costs you can buy three of these and still have change. The HDMI support is great, I use the little built in speakers for getting levels for sound design. If something sounds right on these little speakers, it'll sound right on any crappy TV to any high end sound system. The OSD menu for changing settings is terrible however. You can use it, but it's awkward to navigate and get where you want.

Cons: LEDs can be easily seen along the top of the monitor when there is a black screen.Fixed height adjustmentNo icm profileAudio volume control is ridiculously awkwardButtons can be tricky to press on.

Pros: Bright! Super bright!InexpensiveHDMI (w/cable)
Comment:
I purchased this monitor to replace my three year old and much loved HP w2207H which just died. This ASUS is no where near the quality of the HP monitor but I was able to pick up the ASUS for about $159 after MIR. I'll try to love it.However, the brightness inconsistency along the top of the monitor is annoying. Is this normal with LED lit monitors? Is this normal with this monitor?Currently, I have the following settings:Brightness: 50Contrast: 88Sharpness: 31Saturation: 52ASCR: OffOverdrive: 40If I am doing something wrong than I shall revise my rating and review. Cons: TN, no height adjustment and no icm profile. No simple volume button.

Pros: Awesome monitor. Colours are very bright. Speakers.
Comment:
I bought it because I needed a monitor with HDMI . Now I can connect my xbox360 and ps3 and not hog the living room TV. Instead use this monitor at the comfort of my own desk. The side speakers are a great addition, although having a volume button would make it easier. It's a hassle when I have to go through the menu settings to adjust sound. The best feature is the gaming mode, it made all the colours much much more brighter. Which is a great advantage when playing and multiplayer fps. Overall I would definitely buy this again.

Cons: -Very basic (no advanced settings that you would see in a higher priced monitor)-Speakers are very bad-Only 1 HDMI port

Pros: Beautiful picture-Bright vivid colors-Multiple preset display settings-Fast response time-Great price
Comment:
For the price of the monitor I was actually blown away with how nice it actually is. It looks very sleek and the buttons are under the monitor so the front of the monitor is void of buttons. No dead pixels and no light bleeding anywhere.

Cons: -monitor settings hard to navigate-stand looks plain and cheap-button is hard to press

Pros: -Nice colour-2ms is great for gaming-Price
Comment:
I like this monitor very much. It has really good colour and the 2ms is great for gaming. Only thing this about this monitor that I didn't like is the monitor settings, it got kind of confusing and it was hard at first to change things. Also, this monitor comes with a speaker, and most likely people won't use it. None the less though, for the cheap price its definitely worth it.

Cons: I have a hard time seeing the control buttons on the bottom right. The power button is easy to notice, but the adjustment buttons are gray on black, so very difficult to see.

Pros: -Great price for a 23 inches monitor-The monitor comes with VGA and DVI cables. No HDMI-The quality of the image is great
Comment:
The price and quality are the two things I look at when I make a purchase. I found both with this Asus. At around 170$ (PM/MIR), this is a very decent monitor for everyday use (movie and games in my case). Asus is also a decent brand. I have bought several things (monitor, laptop) with Asus and have never been displeased. However, the control buttons (on the bottom right of the screen) are hard to see. Basically, its gray on black. You have to get close to see where the menu button is, where the brightness is, etc.The MIR was done quickly. However, they send you a prepaid mastercard. I don't really like this, because I'd prefer a check. With a prepaid mastercard, you HAVE TO buy something with it. No saving allowed!Would I purchase it again? Its a hard question. Again, price is a very important factor to me. At the time of my purchase, this Asus was a great one. But the prices vary alot. I suggest you to look at your budget, before making any decision!

Cons: the gamma must be corrected (easily done)

Pros: color, contrast, design
Comment:
It's a very good monitor for the price. It have vibrant color, good contrast and a sleek design. However, I strongly recommand to use the Windows 7 color calibration utility to adjust the monitor gamma. The contrast must be lowered a little also.
