Pros: - Corsair Name/Quality/Warranty- Passes multiple passes of memtest86 without errors
Comment:
Used to increase the memory of an aging memory starved laptop from 512MB to 1.5GB. It is now *MUCH* faster and responsive performing everyday tasks without any issues allowing me to holding off on purchasing a replacement system.

Pros: -cheap-good upgrade for an aging netbook
Comment:
I bought this as for a friend of mine who wanted to upgrade the RAM on his older netbook. It did the trick, though it was a serious pain to get to the RAM slot in the netbook...

Lots of aging Vista laptops are memory starved. (shipped with only 1GB) If you toss one of these cheap sticks into them, it's amazing how much they speed up. The perfect upgrade for someone that's holding off on buying a whole new system.I love Corsair RAM. This time it ended up cheaper than Kingston and the other brands. Lucky me! Corsair has great quality and the best RMA policies.

Pros: Compatible with Dell Inspiron 1501
Comment:
Installed a pair of these in my dad's Dell Inspiron 1501 in August 2010 and it's been working great since then. For the low price this is a great upgrade, Windows XP is very responsive now with a lot less drive access which is a good thing as it keeps the heat down and prolongs the life of the drive.

bought for a aspire 5100 to match other stick, good for xp...have the laptop memory clocked at 360mhz on this ram and no prob, defaults to 5-5-5-21 at this speed instead of stock 5-5-5-20 at 333... works great .

Pros: Budget RAM. Works great with old laptop. Popped it in and runs. Nothing too fancy.
Comment:
Popped it in Toshiba SATELLITE A200-AH5. Works great no need to do anything special in BIOS. Booting straight into windows. Everything runs faster, more smooth and can run more programs. This can be run with dual channel mode = 128bit if the motherboard supports it. Final thoughts... cheap, works great, hope last long time!

Pros: - Functions as it should- No problems after 5 passes of memtest86
Comment:
Not sure what else I can say about this. It's good RAM, functions as it should, and shows no signs of being faulty. No overclocking was attempted but this RAM seems to operate perfectly at stock speed, timings and voltage.

I purchased 2 of these for a co-worker. He had 2 sticks of 512 MB and was running Vista, needless to say his laptop was in need of a memory upgrade. I ordered these, installed them, and he couldn't be happier. Much less page file swapping and potentially greater battery life without the hard drive constantly spinning. Would buy again.

Cons: Ran a bit hot in my laptop. That might have just been because of the laptop, but i'm not sure.

Pros: Cheap way to extend the life of a laptop, easy to install, fast.
Comment:
Ram can almost always make a difference. This upgraded a Dell Inspiron 6000 with 512mb of it. It was sooo slow until I upgraded. The only thing preventing me from upgrading was the price, but this was only 30$ at the time of my purchase. Price dropped to 15 in 2 months, but it was still a great deal.

Had this stick of ram in my computer going on 5 months, so safe to say its worked so far. Have run memtest on this computer a few times, and as expected no errors. If your motherboard has a stick of 2gb and can't see any more than 3gb (mine see's a max of 2.75 in 32bit os of course), you may as well get this instead of another 2gig stick that wouldn't even use all of it.
