Clear, excellent size, good colors. Big step up from my old 񢉍) 17" CRT! Incredibly good! Can't be beat for the value! Well, if I have to locate some cons,...... modest speakers? I did not even try them however, as I have a lot far better ones currently. Who cares. It is a monitor!Only VGA/DVI input? Only 货 following rebate and not totally free? I am asking as well much! Economical And appears good Flimsy Base attachment I use this for gaming and motion pictures and this monitor was far superior than what I anticipated for the cost.

No dead pixels, good vibrant and colorful picture, very crisp and clear pictures. Fired appropriate up. Folks complained in earlier evaluations about the stand becoming wobbly and unsturdy but I beg to disagree, this issue is strong as can be and makes a beautiful addition to my Pc. None however, only had it for a couple of hours so far. Very quite, a steal for the price tag.

Easy to install and swift response time. Really vibrant and good to use. Plug in one particular of them won't connect in tight. Would be nice to be able to connect the sound wires and get sound from each monitors built in speakers.

Crisp, clear resolution, bright colors, incredibly sleek - Looks good! Can't for the life of me figure out exactly where the speakers are or how to turn them on. And the point didn't come with any sort of manual/guide or anything....I'm sure I'll discover them sooner or later. Love it!

A nice upgrade from my 19" 12x10 monitor.Colors are excellent right after tweaking the settings.Poor company 2 looks excellent as do all my other games. A single red stuck pixel,center of screen 3 inches up from the bottom,extremely annoying given that it shows up on any color screen except white. Asus return on pixels is 3 or much more stuck and 5 or a lot more dead.

It's inexpensive, got it on sale, can manage a lot of resolution pixels, and it's exceeded my expectations! I genuinely enjoy this monitor!! Non so far, if anything its just receiving utilized to switching from CRT to LCD, but it's all excellent and I'm glad I did! I just wish this can handl 100hz as if it was from my CRT, I don't know if it does, but I nonetheless miss the smoothness my CRT 100hz on CS 1.6. If you guys know any remedy, ideas, or info! please let me know!

Nice whites and darks. Much greater than the 22" Hanspree it replaced. Nice bright image out of the box. Contains HDMI and VGA cables. No dead pixels. Solid stand that isnt also bulky. Probably desires to be calibrated to show true colors. I'd get one more one particular for this value.

Fantastic monitor, in no way had a dilemma with Asus ones.Very good picture, Very good top quality. Only thing lacking is an "easier" to use volume handle for the little internal speaker's, needs a few buttons to be pushed, wich in the dark can be a pain. Most people dont use internal monitor speakers anyway. The older style had a much better cable managment technique on the back with a panel to hide it, but this 1 is by far less difficult to use.

Bright Screen, Vivid Colors, High Resolution, Low cost w/ Rebate --- The TN Panel debate ought to be dead. I know individuals rag on the more affordable monitors mainly because VA and IPS panel LCD's are suppose to be superior...but I'm telling you, I Really like HD top quality, I'm extremely picky with HDTV high quality and only go to Digital films. My Samsung 225BW...I didn't even know it was "less superior" and a TN panel till I saw people bashing it. TN panel will be, not just fantastic adequate...but Good, for 95% of the persons buying monitors. Don't let the fact that this is a "lowly" TN panel monitor bother you. It's promoting hype, IMHO. No HDMI, Stand is at a fixed height -This has speakers and if you don't use sound that substantially and just occasionally need to "hear" anything and don't care about good quality, they're fine. I wouldn't rely on them for impressing any individual. Personally, I don't use sound significantly (on this computer anyways) and real estate on my desk is tight, so I'm working with the integrated speakers for now. My Samsung 225BW burned out at 31 months and I sent it in below warranty. Samsung was fantastic...I didn't spend a dime. Now that I have it back and side-by-side to the Asus I can do a direct compare. The Samsung is excellent and the only way you can tell it's not as bright, is when it's sitting next to the Asus. Unless you have two monitors side by side, several of the critiques/comments about brightness, and so on, are insignificant.With that said, the Asus is bright, no dead pixels and I'm stoked!! Like I said, 95% users shouldn't even care about the TN,VA IPS panel technologies debate, so disregard it. The quality is amazing. It doesn't have HDMI. Benefits of HDMI is it can be transmitted up to 15M and carries sound, so you have one particular significantly less cable you have to run, so if you want that stuff, fine, appear for a monitor w/HDMI. Let me say that I am thrilled with this monitor. I havent had any troubles with color, response time or what I like to contact "Rainbow Text" exactly where letters seem to look multi colored rather of black. It's fantastic for the dollars. Viewing angle is accepable, and the colors, contrast and refresh are as excellent as any other LCD I've observed. The buttons are effortless to press being on the front, and they appear excellent. No dead pixels. DVI cable integrated. My only complaint is the worst backlight bleed I've ever observed. Bleeds in about two inches on all sides. It's only noticable when the screen is dark, so it could be an issue with films, since this is 16ᚲ. I've by no means applied the speakers, but who would? I'd favor to not have the glossy border about the screen.

Extremely excellent price tag when I got it with rebate 鳂$). No dead pixels. nicely packaged in box with all the cables you could ever need. Not complete 1080p. Picture is not vibrant or bright sufficient when compared in multi monitor setup subsequent to my new 40 inch or my old and super pricey in it's time, 2048 x 1536 CRT. It takes at least ten minutes for the image to completely brighten right after turning on. I am going to commit the added 175 in dough subsequent time and get a 27 inch with 1200p resolution and a greater picture good quality. Maybe I will just wait a different couple of years and use this monitor till they have the resolution of flat panels up to the glory days of the CRT! My 2048 x 1536 CRT at 75Hz manufactured in 2004, nevertheless beats the pants off of all but these insanely high priced 30 inch 2000+ pixel resolution screens.

Value. This monitor is about as excellent as my Samsung SyncMaster 2243, which was significantly a lot more costly. Characters are crisp, and there were no dead or stuck pixels. Undoubtedly a very good worth from a corporation with a fantastic reputation. I really should know -- I'm a network admin for a courthouse in NYC. Choosing nits here...like most LCDs, the image was very bright out of the box. Dropping the brightness to 50% made it substantially much less harsh on the eyes, particularly for reading text. I would undoubtedly buy an additional one, if required. Newegg's shipping is unbeatable, as usual.

this factor has great colour and depth. right after about 3 months the issue went nuts on me. the complete screen went fuzzy and we could not do something about it. Asus has great costumer service they agreed to spend to have it shipped out to them and fix it for us. even though it was two months past the warranted.
