Returned a Trendnet PCI wireless adapter due to horribly slow transfer speeds and bought this one. Running on Quad Core system with 8GB RAM and Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Windows loaded drivers and works great! Transfer speeds are very close to what I was getting with a wired connection! |

Bought it for mother to use simple internet, and it does the job. If haven't already bought a router, go N, not G |

Pros: -Reliable-Good Budget Comment:
This is a really great budget wireless PCI Adapter for those who just want to simply connect to the internet wirelessly using any computer. Got this on sale and it was a great buy. Linksys is a great brand to go for networking. It was easy to install and had no problems whatsoever upon first run. |

This wireless card is well built and does its job well. It's definitely worth the extra money and I have not had any major problems with it. I get excellent connection in a basement about 17-20 feet from the router. NOTE: NOTE: The only thing to keep in mind is that if you want to run this on 64 bit operating systems, linksys support website does not have much on 64 bit operating systems (check anyway because they could have updated since I made this post), so you have to get the Ralink rt61 driver and install that to your computer in order for this card to work. Just search around some on google and look at the linsys support forums. I got it to work and I am running XP 64-bit. |

Cons: none really other than price
Pros: Does what it has to do, nice range Comment:
I got it on sale so price was not an issue. It is doing what it is supposed to do, without any set up or range issue. Pretty impressed with the product. |

Cons: Not working well with Win 7
Pros: I can't think of one. It is quite standard product Comment:
I got this adapter to connet my server wireless. The OS is win 7 x64 and I have to say I am very disapointed. The connection drop s a lot, I can see a lot of lost pakets on my dd-wrt router. Actually all the remote connection software drop after 1-2 minutes. Instead of buying ths I recommebd a access point. At least you will have the real speed. |

Cons: Didn't work for me
Pros: Great price, small size Comment:
Bought this to use in a pfsense firewall I was building. It was recommended on the pfsense forums as being compatible. After installing it and then "initializing" it in the OS it caused a endless crash/reboot cycle. More reading revealed that even though it is a compatible card, there are still issues with it. Oh well, you live you learn. |

This is my second card. Put the first in my other computer. Cost a little more than other cards, but there is never any problem. Very easy install and it has never dropped a signal. Has great range. |

Pros: easy installation, cheap when there a promotion Comment:
Bought this couple days ago, trying to install it into my dad's old computer to replace his stupid USD wireless adaptor, unfortunately it cannot communicate with my WRT610N router, whenever I tried to connect my router, it get blocked to connect the internet and then I couldnt connect to the router again. But still, the signal is double better then my Linksys USB dualband wirless N Adaptor... |

I bought the Linksys WMP54G wi-fi card to replace an intermittent old Belkin model in an even older Dell Dimension 2350. It installed effortlessly. It paired immediately and without any configuring to my WRT54GL Wireless Router (in a cement-walled basement), acquiring the signal from two floors up, no problems. The massive antenna may look like a space liability, but it ensured a robust signal in a very large house. Like I figured: you can't go wrong paring LinkSys with LinkSys. |

Cons: Will have to replace with an N unit someday.
Pros: QualityPrice when on sale Comment:
Bought this to pair with the legendary WRT54GL for use in a HTPC. Seems to do the job adequately and reliably. The antenna is larger than what most pci cards have, so it may help signal strength. |

I purchased this item and installed like the small instructions read. It did not work so I moved my non Linksys modem to another location which was closer. It worked for a while and the next AM it would not work. I played with it for almost two days. I took it back and got the Linksys Range Plus model WMP110 which cost $30 more, this one was better all around with a better manual and it just seemed to be worth the extra money. I got it working right away and it is excellent, my whole setup was bogged down with the other unit, this seemed to cure all my problems. I am happy now and life is good with the computers again. |

I have used this card with Win XP,Vista,7 32Bit. Once I migrated to Win7 64Bit, I found driver complications. It is true Linksis does not support 64Bit. However this card has a Ralink chipset and will work with Ralink 64Bit drivers. |

Simply, I've been installing this companies 54G wireless products for years now. They just work, no problems, no issues. Yes, there's others out there, but who wants hassles. If easy install and great reliability are your target, hit the bullseye with these. |

I bought this for my wife's computer when we changed internet providers and I had to move the cablemodem downstairs. It hardly worked at all with the wireless modem the phone co. provided, and mostly works with the Links-- wireless router I ended up hardwiring to the Motorola modem. Seems my wireless phone interferes with it. Never had the problem with my computer running an older Links-- card in the reverse situation - modem in her office and wireless card in mine. |

I keep being sold by those that know that Linksys is the best. Yet, once again, I got a Linksys item that does not seem to function properly. In this case, it will not automatically accept the IP address the router sends it. I input an IP address but then it operates as an unsecured connection to a router that has WPA security. I am done with Linksys. |

FYI, This product does not work with 64 bit operating systems. I contacted Lynksis and they confirmed. The only two products they have at the moment that are compatable are; WMP110 and WUSB600N. |
