Cons: Mounting plate and platform inferior construction to the rest of the unit.

Pros: Sturdy, high quality construction.Smooth movement and precise positioning.Easy assembly and mounting.
Comment:
I am extremely please with this unit. I've actually mounted it to my chair. (Wooden futon style with side, shelving.) I no longer miss my laptop! However, the mounting bracket both upper and lower are unpadded, likely to damage the contact area over time. If a thin layer of rubber/silicone would have gone a long way. As well, the lower plate that is screwed tight to secure the arm is a plain, oval of steel. It's not weak or a problem, just jarring to the rest of the overall design.I reposition my monitor constantly with this and it stays exactly where I place it. It has a very easy motion and is quite handsome, even when seen from the back. (Or so my wife tells me.)

Cons: Price

Pros: Solid High Quality.

Worth every Penny!Yes it is expensive, but once you have it setup you will not regret it!Will improve your workspace, and your sitting posture. Has a bracket to support 2 different hole patterns on monitors.Come with lots of hardware to support different mounting meatods on desk. Either use Edge mount (most people) or you mount in a hole on the desk.Does go on sale time to time ($15 off)

Cons: Doesn't support a heavier monitor

Pros: Excellent monitor arm, durable and provides perfect pan and tilting.
Comment:
I am using my SyncMaster 931BF with this monitor arm at work, it has made it so that I can situp straighter and don't have to hunch over to see the monitor. It has permitted me to have a more relaxing time on the computer when using it for many hours at work. It has helped with my neck and shoulder pains as well.Highly recommended.

Cons: Optional arm for dual monitor setup would be nice to stock ncix............

Pros: Strong mount, excellent mounting options, ease of setup and use. 119 bucks, totally worth it!
Comment:
This is a great mount and I must say, one of the sweetest "looking" mounts you can get. Removing the base from my monitor and hooking this bad boy up gives me more room on the desk, plus the option of swinging out the monitor if need be. I find that I can adjust it so much easier and constantly fit it to suit my slouch mood! I would buy another one of these in a second! I would love to get one more arm to use on the same post for a dual monitor setup, i am waiting for ncix to stock just the arm.

Cons: plastic cable management under the arms could have been bettertoo expensive

Pros: good build qualityeasy to adjust and move around.
Comment:
Great desk mount. I have a TV and a 22" monitor on the same desk, so this makes it really easy to move the monitor out of the way when I want to watch TV. I love it.

I was looking for a dual monitor arm for my Samsung 930BF and 244T monitors. I could not find any for a descent price but then saw this one here on NCIX. I thought I would give it a try. I am sure glad I did as this works very well and can handle the weight of my big 244T. The website says that it can only handle screens smaller then 24" (or less then 22lb's) but so far it is holding the 244T with no problems and it is clamped to a glass desk. It has a little bit of trouble manuevering the big screen smoothly but it stays where I put it. Also if you buy two you can use the same pole for both arms (instead of paying more then twice the $$ for the actual dual arm). This is what I will be doing for my 930BF. Cons: Cable management could be betterInstruction manual could be better, but it's not essential for assembly

Pros: Well madeEasy to assemble and mount Allows vertical, horizontal, tilt, swivel, and pivot movementGood range of tension adjustment allows smooth movement
Comment:
I bought a great new corner desk, and shortly afterwards I bought the Benq FP241W 24" monitor. I found that the monitor shelf on the desk placed the Benq too far away, and slightly higher than I liked. The Ergotron arm has proven to be the perfect solution for me. I can pull the monitor closer and lower when I'm gaming or surfing, then push it back to watch video, or when I want the desk space. The arm easily holds a 24" monitor's weight, and allows a much greater range of movement than the monitor's own stand. The tension is adjustable at all of the pivot points, so you can fine tune for smooth movement without too much resistance. It does have a channel to hold your cables, but doesn't do much to hide them. The cable management might bother me more if i had to look at it all the time, but behind the Benq I don't see much of it anyway. One thing to consider is that you'll probably have to buy longer monitor cables. If you can see yourself having a use for this, buy it - I don't think you'll be disappointed.
