AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ Socket AM2 CPU

This CPU is in the third PC I've built. All three had AMD CPUs and all have worked flawlessly. This CPU is in an Asus M3N78 PRO Motherboard. I highly recommend this bundle.

I have been building computers since dos and I have always been satisfied with AMD their processors have always been able to handle the over clocking very well. this one is handeling this verry well.

Gotta love AMD. Basic chip - used on 8 builds - no issues. Basic chip for basic builds, works great!

Installed this CPU in a Biostar MCP6P with 2GB of RAM. Used the onboard video, sound and LAN. Fired up the system and installed Windows 7. When the install was complete everything was operational. Went to device manager and was amazed that no additional drivers were required. Still in the initial test phase, but so far I'm impressed with the speed, appearance, internet connection.

I usually have many windows open when on my computer. My last CPU would peg out at 100% and would make it difficult to multitask. Since using this CPU I have yet to see it be challenged. I am so pleased with it I am now considering playing games on my computer now. :-)

This solid little preformer is just the ticket for the Windows Home Server it is running within. It has handled its purpose without a whimper. A good, good processor at a fabulous price which I doubt could be bettered in the bang for the buck department.
