I'm a bit biased, but I like AMD chips. Simple preserve, OEM fan is reasonably quiet, except undo high load like a game. none at the moment. I'd advise this CPU to friends, loved ones, strangers, etc it is just a nice solid CPU.

Value, efficiency. Tears up benchmarks. Audio encoding is smooth and very quickly, and plan compilation is snappy. None Much more bang for your buck vs. Intel in my opinion.

- 赧 (received a ฤ GC to Newegg as nicely)- six cores (AMD) at the price of four (Intel)- incredibly very good video transcoding performance (especially x264)- 800MHz (idle - Cool n'Quiet); three.5GHz (load - turbo)- very low cache latencies (L1, L2, and L3)- WEI of 7.6 - the included stock cooler is absolute junk (idle speeds at around 2000rpm is barely audible; load speeds at 4200rpm when the fan decides to wharble and whir loudly)- AMD should most likely have bumped the L3 cache from 6MB (available on even their dual-core Phenom II) to 12MB I am totally satisfied with the stock speed of three.0GHz Ɠ.5GHz turbo) without the want to twist and prod the processor by overclocking it. Do your self a favor and purchase an aftermarket cooler that is a lot more appropriate for cooling this 125W processor.I paired this processor with the ASUS M4A87TD EVO motherboard - a great combination.

Rapid, affordable 6 core None Got this to replace my ailing 939 AMD FX-60 setup and have not been let down, i do a bit of video encoding and the old rig ran 1.5-two hours+ for 1.5-2 hour movie, this cuts it down to 15-20 minutes for similar size/length.

Benchmarks very a bit higher then the web-sites have it at. Makes sweet enjoy to my video card boosting its 3dmark score by from 4467 to 6271. Fan had type of a high pitched noise, but it went away immediately after a couple days. I'm receiving a a lot newer video card here in a bit and I imagine this will run it properly too. Very pleased with it performance and the heat maxed, so far, at 39c compared to my 6400+ which maxed at 37c.

Upgraded from 4-core Phenom from when they initially came out. Really good upgrade. I got it to be stable upto four.1 ghz just before I got a blue screen. Very easily 1 of the ideal if not the finest chip on the marketplace. Absolutely nothing but. Get this CPU. I don't have the normal heat sink. I purchased a thermaltake a extended although back and run very quietly and nonetheless maintains a low temperature.

Got a extremely good processor with out dropping tons of cash. Simple to overclock if you have a decent mobo. Thought about going up to BE but did not believe it was worth the extra money; can overclock this one just fine. Stock fan kinda noisy but works nicely. May trade up for a quieter low-profile fan (using SFF case). Would undoubtedly get once again.

I got this processor in a package deal with an ASUS motherboard and I couldn't be happier. the board needed a BIOS update but that isn't AMD's fault. This thing is crazy rapidly. I haven't overclocked it but since I haven't noticed the require to. it destroys all benchmark tests and, according to the outcomes, my HD 5870 is the bottleneck of the system, not the processor. I'm going to have to run a crossfire configuration just to match the stock speed of this wonderful little processor. Cool running speed. I'll mention this in the cons, but the heatsink fan is LOUD. It's the only component of my construct that can really be heard when under full load. My case fans and graphics card fans are all whisper quiet, but this sounds like a truck going by. On the other hand, the heatsink does its job beautifully. Below the max load I've been able to generate, the highest temp I've seen is 39C, not bad by any stretch of the imagination. Cost. See other thoughts Very loud fan. Nonetheless, it isn't that large of a deal to me mainly because it does its job beautifully. AS I stated, I got this in a bundle so it was even cheaper than it is now. Nevertheless, 赨 for a 3. GHZ hexacore processor? I believed newegg was pulling my leg. But no, the dream is reality. So do yourself a favor and purchase this now. No seriously... Do it. You won't regret it.

This processor is extremely fast, initially off. I wasn't positive if I really should acquire this, or the x6 Black Edition. For the cost, this is just fine for me. I haven't had any complications with heat, or failures in common. I don't genuinely care for normal CPU coolers. I just put the 1 it came with back in the box, and used the Corsair H70 rather. No troubles with heat. I bought this with an ASUS motherboard that has "Core Unlocker" capabilities. Just about every time I start off up the personal computer, it says ř cores unlocked". I was able to get all 6 somehow, but only once- because then I can't get much more than 5.

To update my prior evaluation below, the CPU is now overclocked to three.4ghz and running a cool 26c idle. I have yet to do any heavy testing on it, but running Mafia2/Sims3/Civ5/Singularity on max has the cpu operating about 32c. This is with the stock heatsink/fan, and in a smaller mid-tower case. Following a week of running it, I do notice a difference in everyday use. Speed isnt fairly as excellent as an Intel chip, but its not so slow as to make you regret your obtain. When running software that can use multiple cores, you wouldnt notice much of a difference coming from an Intel mid-range chip. If you are interested in creating a powerhouse gaming rig, and totally have to have an AMD processor, I would go with the 1100T. If you intend just to create a decent gaming rig or do anything with video, this will suffice. Im going to put this in my new NZXT Phantom case tonight. Temps should drop about 2c with the extra room and fans the case has. If you are running at anything above 35c idle, you did something wrong or you built your laptop or computer in a shoebox.

3x6៦GHz of an Amazing MICRO DEVICE!!! This is more CPU then I'll ever want!!! This factor "RIPS" by way of video converting/building-compiling/editing... For the life of me I can't see why anyone would have to have to OC this thing but it is unlocked if you so decide on... If you have $$$ to set on fire go obtain the other guy's chip, if not get this now and you won't regret it!!! NOT 1!!! I see other ppl complain about the HS & Fan and admittedly it's not impressive but it's doing a superior job for me!!! AMD has accomplished it once more with this 6 core CPU. This factor is a power users dream. You're able to overclock this factor, but honestly its not required as it can handle anything it gets thrown at. none I've been an AMD fan given that 2005 and I haven't looked back yet as they keep getting greater every time I get their CPUs.

-Low-cost affordable low cost!!-A wonderful upgrade if you already have a motherboard that will support it.-Practically as rapidly as its two older brother procs, but a lot more affordable than them, plus there is normally a nice promotion from Newegg for obtaining them - I used my promotional gift card to purchase Christmas presents for loved ones a month right after I purchased this.-6 cores are way superior than 3 or four =). Particularly when compiling levels for UDK or rendering textures -Its multiplier is locked so overclocking it is seriously tough.-The heatsink/fan that comes with it runs beyond 5000rpm at times, generating it sound like its gonna explode. 5000 rpm is just stupid - somewhere there you reach a point of diminishing returns where the fan speed does much less and less cooling as it increases in speed. I think 3500 rpm is about the limit there.-I gave up trying to overclock it simply because the fan noise was just crazy, and it heats up way to easily :(-At its default core clock it is not effective adequate for me. I ordinarily run two-3 specialist software program packages ƓDS Max, Photoshop, and UDK) and though the programs do run fairly well, they are slow to launch and their interfaces are sluggish. When every little thing is going full bore, the PC can slow way down. I've been a AMD customer for over ten years, but I believe my next proc is going to be the Intel 2600K or one thing in that lineup. These procs are just not robust enough for hard core users like myself. Wish it weren't so ;-/

Wow. I have missed a lot getting not upgraded for a whilst. Built 2 with this processor. This processor is screaming quickly! I can run all my games on Ultra settings, several applications is no issue. Would like to see a larger heat sink come with this. Get a specialty 1 if you strategy to OC. MSI 870A-G54, 4GB Ripjaw RAM, WD Caviar Black ƖGb/s), 2x Nvidia 9500GT SLI (GTS 250 in second PC), Windows 7 32.One of these components did not play nice with my Nvidia GTS250's most recent drivers, installed previous drivers and it worked fine.
