- Super swift- The three-core turbo mode is extremely good, and once the processor decides to switch into it you can undoubtedly tell. I noticed a five-10FPS boost in SC2.- Value/performance is almost unbeatable - It's not an Intel simply because, if we're becoming sincere, we know that in this generation of processors the intel chips are just much better. This is a 6-core proc that is competing with quad-core intels. Awesome worth, six cores, and 3.7ghz turbo make this amazing. I am operating it stock, but I comprehend that it can be easily OCed

Very Incredibly Rapid! runs OC at four. with temps under 60C. Has taken every thing I have thrown at it with the exception of Adobe Premere Pro CS4 which it wont even set up (problem is with adobe) Won't run some video editing computer software, so verify yours out very first. Did install older version of CS4 making use of a lliquid cooler

WOW, this issue is rapidly. A Big jump from the early core 2 duo e4500 two.2ghz :D. six cores for a ceap price. This factor is amazingly simple to overclock. Overclocked to 4ghz, no problems. I would very advocate. Stock heatsink is undesirable!!!!!!!!! I purchased a new a single but if you are not overclocking, stock really should be fine. Incredible!!!! :D

Set this in a SMI 890 GXM-G65 motherboard and plugged in the OCZ 120 gb SSD in the PCI slot and it took off.Built this hot rod for my wife's photo and vedio editing. Prior to this, she complained continually about the old set up becoming slow and locking up. Now she just performs away continually - saying whao - whoa this factor is quickly. Excellent set up and now all the family members and pals desires one particular built.Graphic card comes on Monday, should add a little extra kick. nothing - None - nada

Wow, this processor is wonderful. Anything loads extremely rapidly, and the processor is excellent for more than-clocking.The turbo triple-core is great for gaming. The stock cooling is not so wonderful. Do oneself a favor and invest a few a lot more dollars on a great CPU cooler. This is in particular vital if you program on undertaking any more than-clocking. Initial AMD make for myself, I'm commonly an Intel + Nvidia kind of guy. AMD does not disappoint!

Uncomplicated to OC, IF, you have very good cooling. I had to get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus in order to reach 4ghz (originally got the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.two 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler and had to RMA it because it isn't a good cooler at all). This thing heats up extremely rapidly on a full load. I went from an X2 3800 to this and now have it 4ghz. Night and day. Fantastic price, incredibly good efficiency. Heat, heat and much more heat. Make certain to get proper cooling. For air I suggest the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and get another 120mm fan, 1 for each side and put your mind at ease.

Bang for the buck. I hear people telling me Sandy Bridge this and Sandy Bridge that. Well, for my dollars, this is every little thing I require and then some. Installed Win 7 Ultimate in just more than 15 minutes (wish I put a stopwatch on it). I've not pushed to OC a whole lot, but I don't see where it would even be needed other than seeing what it can do.SetupAMD 1100T ThubanASUS Crosshair IV Formula4 Gb GSkill Flare2x Sapphire HD 6870 RadeonThermaltake SpinQ CPU fanThermaltake element case (w뫪W PSU) None. This isn't seriously on the CPU, but on my setup for any person that could have this issue. The SpinQ cpu fan is quite huge and with the G.ability flare, the heat sink on that RAM sticks up high adequate exactly where the CPU fan hits it. I turned the fan 180 degrees from the reccommended position. This appears to work fine and when I get by means of some OC and benchmarking, I will update my critique if I run into temp troubles.

ok, so i dont generally write a assessment the first day i personal a product, but this CPU is truly wonderful. final stable OC (so far) is 4Ghz @ 1.425v...! i was completely surprised at the ease it took to push the limits. and im seeing temps as low as 24 degrees celcius...and thats at the existing settings, not even fully idle yet.my Phenom 2 955 BE Ɠ.2Ghz) would only clock to 3.6Ghz stable @ 1.40v and lowest 35 degrees celcius. windows 7 rating (for CPU) only elevated from 7.four to 7.6. a lot of my OC'ing limitations i think are due to my Mobo (MSI NF980-G65). theres not a lot of options for the AMD CPU's and nVidia combo, naturally. tho, im still happy with it. also, as i tinker im confident ill boost these numbers a bit far more.all in all, im quite impressed so far. if something changes, ill repost.

A workhorse in my Debian based media server. I can encode a Blu-Ray movie in below 4 hours now, exactly where it would take more than 24 on an overclocked dual core AMD. I can max out all 6 cores and the method remains really responsive. This processor will be out of date when the AMD Bulldozer processors are released later this year... I wanted the best AMD processor I could obtain at the time, and this is absolutely it. If you want to overclock this processor, be confident to buy excellent memory and a motherboard that supports it - although in my situation there's no will need (it's quicker than I could have imagined).

More than clocked fairly properly on asus crosshair iv formula at four.3ghz. couldn't really ask for significantly far more. the Price/perfomance ration definetly worth it... stock heat sink and thermal compound isn't worth talking about. do yourself a favor and grab some arctic five and an following market place heat sink particularly if your overclocking at all.. This chip is a breeze to overclock and plus puts out the power... if your like me and wanted to construct a machine on a budget this chip is the finest you can get for the income.

....see cons So got this these days from newegg all prepared to go and boom open the outer box and the box for the processor and the seal was broken, the processor was clearly open by a person else and had fingerprints on the cpu itself...seriously dissappointed in newegg that they would ship this out to a client as NEW in this condition. The shipping box had not been opened so it was in that state before sent to ups for shipping. I have loved newegg for a lot of a lot of years but this is unacceptable. Time to function on some good quality manage at the warehouses. Also the agent i spoke with was 1st the first time in dealing with newegg extremely quite rude and abrasive, have never ever had a negative expertise with newegg until now. Getting a replacement in a handful of days when its approved? whats that about... but will post review as soon as the item i paid for arrives.

Pros: Six cores and AMD-V permit operating many virtual machines with committed cores. Very effortless to overclock. Currently booting at 4.08GHz and stable to four.26 GHz ྱx250.8Mhz) following OS load. four.2 stable at the moment. i have the 1090t also operating at four. with 2800 north bridge 2200 ht on a bioster 890fxe this is in a foxconn a-79as 790fx motherboard runs smoother then melted butter. 200mhz does make a noticeable difference its at 1.44v the 1090t is at 1.468v what?? i have 1100t on a Thermaltake Frio 39c idle 59c total load 48c gaming load.. the 1090t is cooled by the ZALMAN CNPS9900ALED 42c idle 68c complete load 54c gaming. if you ask me the 1100t or any amd cpu. matches up nicely with the Thermaltake Frio sorry zalman i strayed more than to the other camp..(cant wait for the bulldozer) just believe im making use of 800mhz of gskill 4gb mem. its rates 7.7 on wei the 1100t does also if that matters.. but ive only read of only maybe 1 or two with a 7.7 on a 1090t. but oh nicely thats why they make cpu benchmark tests if you can get past the obvious in..ll optimizations encoded in alot of tests.. boy thats a thought...i know i can get four.four. but im a little leary of escalating the voltage past 1.44...just noticed i can enhance the v to 1.47 so that indicates back to overclocking a tiny a lot more. will get back..

Superb CPU for the value. Thus far it has handled every thing I've thrown at it with no even breaking a sweat! I have it running stable at three.88ghz (Over Clocked.) Six cores seriously tends to make multi-tasking a breeze. Hasn't bogged down as soon as, even with Anti-Virus scanning in the background. I highly reccomend this CPU. The heatsink and fan was a tiny difficult to get on my motherboard, and it's a little loud, but you can handle that by way of your BIOS. Had my FX60 for lunch. Quickly and great benchmarks. WEI 7.6! AMD ships these with a jet engine fan. I would get a aftermarket cooler if you obtain this CPU. Stock a single is way to LOUD!! See cons. I wanted to take away two eggs but my brother mentioned that is also significantly for a loud fan.

Six cores, unlocked, crazy rapid, wonderful for programs that demand many cores, turbo mode is good for gaming. General it's an great CPU and a fantastic value compared to comparable Intel processors. The stock fan sounds like a jet engine! Its fairly quiet underneath a regular load but whilst gaming it's the loudest CPU fan I've ever heard. Getting an aftermarket fan would be an uncomplicated repair but I consider AMD must provide better/quieter stock fans to match the excellent of their processors.
