Have several of these units and they have been trouble free! However they will not work with the New computer. It requires pure Sine Wave output and possibly a faster response time. which most consumer UPS lack So if a New is in your future this is not for you

Just replacing my old back up battery, I have old fuse box, and when the AC, washer machine, and Microwave are on! My back up battery turns on,Faulty wiring Yeah an old house. So I needed something with higher Voltage and life, Well I at least still have a few minutes to spear to buy something else here.

This is a good little backup box. Seems to run a lot of equipment for a long time. I pulled the plug from the wall after having 2 pc's and monitors, plus a 60watt light attached and all on. Kept running about 20 min. The software is good too. Just basic and compatible. This box has been able to pull through several lightning storms and outages without fail. Good stuff for those of us who need it all on all the time.

my power has went out 3 times since i received my apc back-up. this has happened within a 6 week period. the unit performed perfect. easy to install and the power is there when you need it.

I bought this because my old APC units both needed batteries, so for less than the price of two new batteries, I got a great upgrade. I've owned Apc units for years and this is by far the best yet. The display is very helpful in checking your vital power conditions and easy to use. Also the power chute software works flawlessly with Windows Vista (64 bit) and gives you any information you will ever need. I recommend checking APCs website for upgraded versions as I did. Great product for the money and highly recommend it!!

I have 2 of these units both purchased on-sale about a year apart. These units are providing me with a reassuring level of protection for 2 of my systems (1-Intel Mac Pro quad core which I use for video editing & 1-Quad core PC for everything else, both systems have heavy graphics and lots of internal drives). These units have active voltage regulation which cleans the power that's coming into your computer. The LCD screen is extremely informative and displays a multitude of statistics. If your computer is your life.... and your worried about power quality / loss of power then this makes for a fantastic life jacket!
