I have been maintaining a couple of of these on hand as a normal stock item for a number of years. They are a good worth for routine power supply replacements for general objective computers. I have under no circumstances had a challenge with them. Not fond of rebates, but Apevia has usually come by way of with them at some point. There generally appears to be a rebate offer though the quantity might differ. I'm shocked at some of the recent negative reviews. I've in no way noticed a DOA or early failure with this item.

I'm not sure if it performs mainly because I bought the wrong 1. Right after holding this in my hands I would not suggest anybody get this. This PSU feels like its produced out of a soda can. I accidentally purchased the incorrect PSU (this one particular) and newegg was excellent about returning it. It just feels very cheap. You get what you pay for.

Offered fantastic power while it was working. Right after a though of operating a 95watt cpu and a 5770 with only 2gb of ram it gave out, i replaced it with the similar PSU and it occurred again. I have a 500w ultra in a related method and its been going powerful for 4 years. You get what you spend for. if you want to run a incredibly minimal technique go for it, but if you want to run a decent video card, remember you get what you pay for. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA via us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still below our warranty period. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. We attempt to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

Price, but you'll just have to add the ุ onto the second energy supply you get a couple of months later when this one particular starts dying. Effectively, I got this in November 2009 and by April 2010 my video card (nVidia 9800GT) would not create video output and the fan spun at full speed for a random amount of time (sometimes ten seconds, at times a minute, sometimes I'd have to flip the switch on the supply and let it sit ahead of attempting once again). As soon as the fan went back to standard speed (getting the full 12V) I would have to hit the reset button. If the computer system powered down for even a split second the ordeal would have to be repeated. As a guy that has by no means skilled this just before my results were bewildering, but guys on tech forums suggested a new energy supply and voila! every thing is working again. Oh, I nearly forgot that there is only 1 molex cable with two plugs that are a couple of inches apart. This was completely worthless in my case exactly where the harddrive sits close to the bottom and the DVD drive is at the top. I had to purchase a SATA-Molex adapter so I could move my HDD out of the card reader bay at the top rated of my case. I see a lot of evaluations knocking the 12v rail, so this review is basically just adding to the pile. I seriously figured I'd be in a position to get away with this PSU because I don't game often and figured I didn't need to have the best power supply in the globe, but the difference among best energy provide in the planet and a energy provide that doesn't hardly operate is full of PSUs that are just a few dollars a lot more and perform much better.I gave it two stars mainly because I'm certain this would be good in a computer that doesn't have a video card.

It worked good for a year on my low cost rig. Pentium D duel core OC to three.4ghz, 2 gigs of RAM, ATI 3870, and two sata drives. It died in the middle of COD2 out of the blue. Its a affordable energy supply what can I say. Voltage was OK absolutely nothing strange. Then just craped out on me. :( Upgrading to a greater energy supply, Coolermaster 460. I also ripped the fans from the Apevia. There is two excellent 80mm fans in there if this dies atleat you can use the fans for somthing ells.

This PSU is quiet. I turn my computer system on, and you can hardly hear a issue. It's strong as a rock. It's been powering my method for over years now. I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of this unit. It's got 1 PCI-E six pin connector as effectively to energy a video card. Naturally not meant for SLI, but it powers my Radeon 4830 with no difficulties. None

Affordable. Unit DIED following 60 days. Had to do RMA straight with Apevia. They refused to spend return shipping (ผ) - i'd realize if it was more than a year old, but again, this PS was only two months old. The return shipping fees negated any savings from the rebate - which i nevertheless have yet to get after 75+ days.I will In no way Purchase an APEVIA product again! Lasted in my computer for 2 1ǘ years just before I got a new PSU, was actually fantastic till... the voltage started to drop, I got BSOD's in TF2 and I didn't assume anything of it, I believed my processor might be going negative (yea, stupid idea in retrospect), lowered my overclock and it was fine, I got sufficient dollars and decided that instead of CPU I'll appear at my voltages, the 12V would drop to 11.7V, immediately knew it was the culprit, purchased a Xclio 550w greatpower and its been operating perfectly ever due to the fact at the overclock I had ahead of It'll run fantastic for a couple years if you give light load 鳠W) but don't expect much far more
