Installation is a snap. Took me much less than 30 min to finish the installation. I use this as a htpc and I have not expertise like other individuals have. ie. Dead P/S. Case fan is very quiet. Bright pwr lights. Nice night light beneath Television None. Need legs for this issue to stand up. The rubber feet that was supplied is for 1 time use. Situation is sort of a weird size. Why do people today want a HTPC with a complete ATX MB. I think a lot of individuals does not know the pre install power supply has a switch facing inside of the situation and is switch off when they got the situation.

Excellent case for a home theater setup. Layout is great and compact, unit runs fairly fairly. It's a bit tall in comparison to other home theater components on the shelf, but that's to be expected taking into consideration what all goes into it (besides, it can be tucked away or stood on it's side on the floor). The price tag seems a bit high for the size of this case, it would be a super great acquire if it were only โ. A 3.five" multi-card reader makes a fantastic addition in the bottom slot right up front - as well poor it doesn't involve one particular in the box. Also excellent additions are an HDTV tuner card and a wireless mouse & keyboard. Mythbuntu makes for the perfect home theater OS to round out this case.

Wonderful HTPC situation. It was decent enough airflow if you add in 2x 120mm fans on the sides. The rear 80mm fans are great and quiet. Beautiful as well, and for any non-extreme HTPC, the PSU is a lot more than enough. The rear fans don't push significantly air. But they are meant to be quiet...not effective. Oh, and they're not SUPPOSED to light up, neither is the PSU. You can't truly mark down one egg just because it doesn't light up, when its not supposed to. I really love this situation / PSU setup. As soon as I get enough parts for my second HTPC create...I will Undoubtedly be acquiring this situation once more.

Wonderful size and layout (it is a tight case, but you ought to know that prior to you order). Every thing fit together perfectly, and the dual case fans are a nice touch. I got shorted on case screws. Particulary the motherboard screws. I got "screw-ed". Also, too numerous power plugs on the PS for this case. Maybe if I had a full tower the PS plugs would be nice, but its a major mess w/ all the extras. I would opt for a nicer PS subsequent time. Wonderful case, just feel about a distinct PS and make certain you can get extra screws from a friend before you put this factor together.

Inexpensive. Quiet. Low cost. DOA. No toggle switch for power. Power provide was DOA. If I didn't have a spare lying around, I'd be seriously upset that I'd have to take away all my components and wait though the RMA got processed. Swapping the supply was uncomplicated adequate(front panel has to be removed, and the supply gets connected to the front of the case). Installing the three.5" HDD was not as effortless as many other situations I've used. The shipping box also had a nice gouge in the front, but fortunately the case cover was only scratched, and not dented. I've got to seriously question good quality control if I got a DOA. Manufacturer Response:It is potential that the power supply was turned off by default at factory. If you have not already performed so, take away the front panel and check to make sure that the power switch is set to the on ( | ) position.

Effectively built, 2 quiet process fans, modest and compact for a complete-size ATX board, comes with an APEVIA WIN-500XSPX 500W power provide (otherwise sold separately on newegg for about 40 bucks). Not for those devoid of a HIGH level of patience I've built roughly ten computer systems in my life and this is very easily the most tough case I've ever worked with. It took me really a while to figure out specifically how to set up a 5-1ǚ" drive - you have to use the included sliding brackets and set up them by means of the front by removing the front panel - I a lot choose just getting in a position to install a drive with a couple of screws. I also had issues with my energy provide - lastly tracked it down to a loose connection - the cord in the front (which was seriously tough to get at) had come loose from the front. So if your Pc won't energy up, check that very first. When you get everything with each other although, this is a great case. Not recommended for those with out a considerable quantity of patience.

Plenty of area, appears nice, effortless setup. HDD place is a little awkward. Fans are a "little" noisy, not annoying but noticeable devoid of any music, and so on. Principal HDD place doesn't enable for a lot airflow.

Case appears OK over all but it will be my very first and last case from this vendor. This took a week to get to me - drop-shipped from the vendor. This is a vibrant silver face, not the much more-dull platinum finish that the photo could lead you to believe. I am acquiring tired of these rebate games that a lot of manufacturers are attempting lately. It used to be 30 days from purchase. Now they are receiving down to 14-days. In this case the vendor dragged their feet in shipping the item. So they had my cash, the clock was ticking and my rebate window was about 7 days. This new Rebate tactic stinks (and it is appearing everywhere). I hope prospects respond and sales drop mainly because of it.I will purchase no much more items with rebates - my part to assist evolve them out of existence.

speedy shipping from NewEgg. Power supply unit was DOA, and yes, the secret power switch behind the front cover was turned on. Now I have to pay for return shipping of a defective item. I would question QA for releasing a defective item. I would think twice in acquiring a different item from the manufacturer.

Hides the DVD player. Comes with power provide. ATX GIGABYTE GA-MA770-DS3P fits. Front panel wire harness was just the suitable length. Piano black finish is nice. MSI NX8800GTS 512M OC does not fit due to wireharness from power supply. No rubber mounting to silence harddrive. I modified the case so the power provide could be flipped more than and the wire harness would clear the video card. Employed a Oscillating Multifunction Power Tool to cut the metal below the power supply for air flow to the power supply fan.

Price Regret getting this case. I won't use the power supply. It is also low-cost. The case is a challenge to assemble (this was about the 15th computer I have built). The optical drive is really challenging to line up. The case fit and finish is marginal. If you going to build a new Computer invest the funds on the case. I will be ordering a new 1 as this case has been a huge disapointment. My fault...you get what you pay for.

It's quite shiny. Rails for the 5.25" drives were a nice touch. I am employing this as my Linux Gaming Pc, and secondary as a diskless Media Director with LinuxMCE.Case even with power supply, and 2 included fans is fairly quiet. The power supply cables, come out at a precarious location. This is not negative if making use of a low profile video card, but my EVGA 9600 GSO card (bought here, very good) was tricky pressed to fit in the slot, as it is a greater card, and come into contact with the cables. This is absolutely nothing that a new power provide would not repair, but it was the only tough point in assembling this method. This is a wonderful case. It is extremely shiny, make confident you are careful through assembly, not to scuff it. The front panel jacks are just correct for even the widest USB thumb drives. An very fantastic bargain for the value.

Comment:
Low price if you get it with rebate. It genuinely does look decent for the price. Stealth kind DVD door is the nicest feature on the case, and a good touch. For a small form element mobo w/small GPU, it would be good at the value!Nice and shiny. Face looks really good from a few feet away. NOTE: Don't be fooled by the fact this will fit a complete ATX board. It does not fit <i><b>any</i></b> of my modern day video cards: GTS8800, 9800GTX+, GTX280 1. Does NOT fit an 8800GTS as stated. I have two of these I purchased off the Egg, and hoped to use at least a single of them, perhaps even squeeze the second one in for an older but really competent SLI HTPC. Not a opportunity. A single 9800GTX+ I got from the Egg doesn't even come <i>close</i> to fitting in there. 2. If you have anything bigger than a stock CPU cooler, you have to remove your CPU cooler to modify challenging drives, or to alter the 120mm cooling fan on that side.three. This is my fault, as I saw it in the pics, but having the PSU at the front of the case tends to make this look a lot more "computer-like", and less like a piece of HT gear.4. Front cover removal is tedious and will be difficult for some. Unfortunately, you Should take away the front cover to complete the installation, and if you ever want to modify hdd's or the power supply. Given that 1989 I've built appx. 60 machines for myself and other individuals. This case is one of the least positive experiences I've had. It looks good in the pictures and not as well bad in individual. Make positive you have a lot of expertise and are rather fantastic at visualizing the complete build order just before you commence. You will most likely have to eliminate one thing significant, due to the fact a element that's normally accessible in a usual build is blocked by the layout of the case.

Low profile and best for HDPC., somewhat uncomplicated install and decent but not wonderful manual. Has good airflow even w/o aftermarket fans. Front cover has a protective panel for the 5.25" drive that I like for dust protection, but is so compressed to the open/close button, if I touch the front panel the drive opens. Noisy: the power supply is placed to the front left w/air in and exhaust up. I took the stock ps out and replaced w/ a 700 watt program that I could barely hear in my mid tower program. Now I get to listen to the drone of two fans. I added an soon after market place Apevia 120mm fan for intake to blow on my VGA. The fan itself runs w/ minimal sound on it's own, but as soon as I secured it to the case it sounded like a jet engine. I added rubber buffers at every single connection; no assist. I have a modular p/s, and nevertheless had difficulty with cable management. Also the case cables had been a stretch to reach the pin points. It's not a horrible design, but could definitely use a bit of improvement.

Utilised this for an HTPC in my residence theater wall cabinet. Excellent for my dual-core e5200, 2 gb of ram, Radeon 4550, 500 GB drive, DVD & Blu-Ray drives. Fans aren't obnoxiously loud and do a great job of moving air. did mount fan on side to support with exhaust but overall it functions good. Looks good and I covered the actually bright light on the front. Deep case. Can fit ATX motherboards and full-size graphics cards but it can protrude out the back. Make confident you have adequate depth for it. Tough to fit much more than 1 hard drive, particularly if you use DVD & Blu-Ray drives like me. Does precisely what I want. Decent case, looks like an audio component that can fit an ATX case with large video card. Other than the depth getting a concern, I would use it once again, no doubt.

Incredibly sleek searching case and good cabling. Professional client support. Energy provide DOA. Have returned it to get a replacement. Customer help agent asked me to short the green pin and one particular of the black pins on the 24-pin power connector with a paper clip to check if the energy supply fan comes on. It didn't and agent asked me to return the energy provide.

Great value, every thing fits and the ideal size as a desktop. Possibly this is an Asus problem, but their gforce gtx 460 would not clear the case cover. I also had to remove the power provide to set the card in spot and re-route the wire bundles. Check the height clearance with your high finish graphics cards! Nice case but I need to have done my household work when shopping video cards.

1. Looks Good two. Accepts Full Height Graphics Cards three. Makes use of Standard Optical Drives 4. Good fit and finish 1. Too tall for a HTPC 2. Cooling Concerns three. Poor Power Provide four. Will not accept lengthy Graphics Cards due to Power Supply Harness 5. Massive Case but very tight inside six. P4 Connector could be at opposite side of case from Supply I wanted a case a tad bigger than the InWin I have, but this case turns out to be a little too tall, and does not fit into my Media Center. The Power Supply died following a few months, so as others have pointed out, don't look at it a selling point. And as it will not accept most full size gaming form graphics cards, it does not make a very good case for a desktop replacement. It does have cut outs for side fans, but once installed, the noise was unacceptable for a HTPC, and the two small fans installed in the back could work for an Atom CPU, but are not adequate for most others.

Very good Case. Not flimsy as others claim. Roomy if you use a mini ATX board.Price tag. Tough drive slot below the optical cages is extremely cramped. Couldn't use it. There was no way for the drive to be ventilated! I utilized that space to hide the extra cables from the PSU. Guys with DEAD PSUs, please check for the switch on the PSU! Mine was in the OFF POSITION!Apevia claims the case has a four Hard drive slots doable, counting the two SIDE slots on the case for fans, but that is CRAZY. You need to have those side fans for excellent ventilation. That would be a lousy trade off.

Created incredibly well. Decent supplies (frame, outer doors), decent paint, comes with hand screws for the back and standup screws for the motherboard, front looks spiffy. My ATX motherboard, 2 HDDs and a DVD drive fit inside fairly easily, and I applied a PSU that was larger than the 1 that came with the case Ƒcm longer). I believe it's safe to say the front panel is defective. All but 1 of the prongs was broken off. I feel at the extremely least Newegg really should start checking these out prior to shipping them, or that Apevia should send out new front panels to everybody who demands a new 1 for no cost or at a reasonable price tag. I usually don't return things I order on the internet, so that wasn't seriously an choice for me, but if the panel was made so that it could withstand being removed as a lot as the instructions say it ought to be, this case would be great and totally worth the value. I'd get a new front panel proper now if I knew it wouldn't be broken on arrival or break so simply throughout upkeep. I didn't try the power supply unit that came with the case, so that's untested for me. Manufacturer Response:If you wish to obtain spare parts or require to RMA parts of the case, you can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. We attempt to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

Cost, front panel and leading are very easily removed. It is a cheap functional case. Mounting disk drive is a challenge. Throw away the 500 watt energy supply that comes with the case. It weighs about 1Ǚ of a 贄 power provide. I have utilised Corsair, Antec, and Enermax power supplies and would not waist excellent components on a low-cost provide.
