Nice cool setup, effortless to set up, quite uncomplicated. Simplest of the eight computer systems I have ever constructed for my family. Son named it "Boxie" Thiner than I believed, and felt flimsiers when apart, but with each other it is really strong This was sold locally for 30 dollars much more, and I sat in the retailer for 25 mins just before I left, acquiring talked to NO One who even cared if I wanted to buy. This enterprise is going to go out of company due to poor buyer service. not even a 'hello, be right with you, regardless of glances of all 5 who worked there. The search was, "hope this guy leaves'...@ Newegg, I was capable to read comments, check specs, link to internet sites, verify other goods, all from the comfort of my residence. Certain Shipping expense me a bit additional, but nevertheless saved cash making use of Newegg...Thanks

This case has a good amount of space for airflow for becoming a "cube case" computer. For a space saver construct this is perfect. Nice to have three windows. Energy supply has two sata plugs and a lot of four pin plugs which is great. The case is sturdy and solid when it is together. Cpu and Hard drive temperature gauge. Motherboard tray slides out to make assembly a breeze. The outer panel feels actually flimsy when it is off the case. The space is fairly tight to operate on even though the motherboard is inside the case. This case fairly significantly requires a loom job for the wires, which can take its tolls on your hands. Not a entire lot of space for cold cathode tubes. I advocate either a ten" or smaller sized. Whilst a 12" logisys can fit it is a tight fit and you will have to either have them on the very same side or find a way to glue 1 to the left side support bar (clear rtv works wonders). I read that other owners were getting concerns with the cooling so I got the highest flowing 80mm and 120 mm for my case. If you go that route get a fan speed controller, simply because it will scream at total speed.

I have owned a number of QPACKS, so when the QPACK2 came out, I was excited to attempt it out. Removable Motherboard Tray is excellent, fits my 8800GTS w/out any difficulties (althought, it is directly below the energy supply). Wonderful case! So, the color actually is purple! or blue purple (Blurple). I had the original blue a single, so i figured it would be good and dark like that.. I even read the evaluation beneath that states that it's purple, but either way, I'm content with it. C2D E6750, G33 uATX, 8800GTX320, 500gWD, DVD-RW. I replaced the Power Supply w/ an HX520 from the begin, so I can't evaluate that portion of the case. But if you're looking for a uATX case that can be portable, This is a keeper!

The situation looks genuinely nice. Power provide and situation fans are quiet. Front deal with is pretty sturdy. The case feels solid when it is assembled. The cover is incredibly flimsy when removed. For the price they could have utilized far better material. Some of the screw holes appear like they were hand drilled and tapped. The temp lcd on mine doesn't light up (haven't truly taken the time to figure out why). To slide out the motherboard tray, almost lead from the front panel requirements to be unplugged. As soon as it is all put with each other and operating, it looks good. If you are the sort of individual that can not leave "good enough" alone, this case is not for you.

Looks sharp, reasonably nicely built. Extremely cool CPU/HDD temp monitor built in to the front of the case. Fans are quiet and the temps (Core i7 920)are quite low. Situation is laid out properly. Nice color blue on front panel. Power supply is practically silent and has all its cables nicely wrapped in black sheathing. Cable lengths are good for front panel stuff, p/s cables may even be a small also extended for a matx case. Comes with two temp probes that can be mounted anyplace. Not significantly here, but to choose a few nits; Some sharp edges on the aluminum. Some products ought to be disassembled/reassembled in order due to type aspect. Largest issue I don't like are the chassis fan connectors, which have the substantial four pin molex plugs. C'mon Apevia, all the rigs I have built in the last five+ year have all had the little chassis fan connectors built into the motherboard for fan monitoring and software program based speed control. The significant 4 pin have to plug into the power provide cables, bypassing any MOBO control. Then you have a Extended daisy chained tangle of dissimilar wires and plugs to stuff/hide in the case. I actually like this situation. It arrived nicely packed, well laid out and seeking sharp. With three clear plex windows on the top rated and every single side, you will almost certainly want to spend a little additional time tidying up the cables a tiny. A Truly nice touch would have been for the power supply to come with removable cables so you wouldn't have to stash the extras away since this is a little box. Although anything fit, Apevia didn't go out of their way to slot the drive mounting holes, so some elements could be a tight fit or even an situation. Situation feels a tad wobbly until you place the outer housing on. Cool chrome carrying deal with on front that's spring loaded.

Wonderful situation, very excellent internal layout for most (but not all) video cards. Firewire is nice for camcorder. In spite of comments on flimsy cover (which it is, by itself) when assembled it makes for a very light situation with plenty of room for just about anything (except perhaps hardcore SLI gaming and chips needing a large fan/heatsink). I purchased one of these from Cyberpower and returned (not because of the gear but mainly because of poor service). It was completely BLUE. Just got my new 1 from NewEgg...100% PURPLE.There is apparently variation in diverse lots or suppliers, and however NewEgg can not open boxes to confirm the flavor prior to shipping. Bottom line I consider you are rolling the dice if you want "blue". I'm returning mine for black, can't go wrong there! Front audio/mic is AC97...if you program on making use of with XFi card (which is IntelHD) you will have some concerns. Most Mobos can be configured for either so I think the very best bet is to use onboard sound for the front panel thru the mobo. All in all even though good case! Manufacturer Response:Hey there Scott! In fact a earlier critique refers to it as getting "blurple"! :p I have attached a photo that I took of the front panel for consumer reference. Looks wonderful, fits where I want it, cools effectively, effortless set up and just enough space. Wiring could have some way to hide/route it superior to make the insides look better. Other than that I don't have something negative to say. Didn't have any fitment difficulties as some talked about. PNY Nvidia 9800 GT+ fit perfectly amd I don't have any troubles with heat at all but I'm using a low power Chip and Board combo.

It's a smaller situation, but surprisingly roomy. I fit two Raptor harddrives, an 8800 Ultra and a watercooling loop for my quad core CPU inside... ...It's also extremely hot inside, but that's to be expected with so significantly heat becoming created in such a tiny area (and the principal cause I went with water cooling). The 80mm fan on the front is almost useless -- it doesn't move hardly any air, so I opted to replace it by cutting a hole in the side window and placing my own fan on it to cool my northbridge and RAM.Also, the lower five 1ǚ drive bay may possibly be an situation for some. Its' edge hangs ideal over the PCIe x16 slot, so tall cards like the 8800 Ultras will NOT fit in the case with no modifying it 񣳠 GTXs WILL fit, on the other hand -- it's simply because of the way they bumped out the fan vertically on the Ultra). Also, video cards that have their energy input on the major edge of the card will have trouble for this really very same purpose (unfortunately for me, my 8800 Ultra ALSO has its' power on the top, so I had to cut even more of the drive bay to use it).My troubles aren't common and I expected them, so yes, I would obtain this case again. Regardless of my complications (which I believe are most likely exclusive to my setup and not representative of what most people will encounter), I think it's a great situation. The only thing I would favor would be if you could get it with out the energy supply.Oh yeah. Excellent service, Newegg!

Operating spae is tight, but not truly a dilemma if you take your time Cover is a little thin metal but thats about it. When using handle, do the wise factor and help the rest of the case with your other hand if achievable Didnt even try the inclded PSU.Place in my cooler master 500 watt in. Read other individuals reviews about PSU becoming not so good, but dont know that for a reality.

Good Situation... a bit larger than I anticipated but its effectively built and has a sturdy take care of. Temp sensors are a great touch. Energy Provide and fans are pretty quiet. Great rubber feet on the bottom. Energy Provide cables could be allot shorter... this is modest case to it does not will need cables twice the length of the case & it sure don't require two energy connectors for Floppy drives. I'm unable to use the sliding drawer function for the MOBO, but that's not Apevia's fault. My decision of MOBO has the audio header all the way on the rear of the board wedged amongst the x16 slot and the study audio outputs. So I can only slid the board out sufficient to make the connection with a lengthy pair of needle nose pliers.

The situation looks good! The carrying deal with is great! Lots of area! The power supply is really low cost! Ever given that building this method 18 months ago it has had concerns with blue screens, crashes, etc. About a month ago the energy provide started making a loud 'squealing' type of noise and no it wasn't the fan. I replaced the power supply with a Corsair brand and the noise is gone AND the crashes all stopped. And no the power supply wasn't overloaded, the program makes use of well below the rated power specifications of the energy provide. When the cover is off of the situation it's incredibly flimsy, but appears to firm up well adequate when assembled. The Aluminum bracket had to be modified to make space for the PCI-e power connector for the 9800GTX video card. Luckily some tin snips and pliers took care of that difficulty.Though the front temp display may seem nice, the temp probes are really poor quality and and accuracy is fairly poor. I have mine disconnected altogether. Not the greatest excellent but not negative for the price tag.. just get the less expensive a single with the lower wattage energy provide and purchase a much better top quality power supply to use with it. Don't strategy on any type of reliability with the power provide that comes with it.

Situation looks Wonderful when it is all closed up. The front aluminum panel looks excellent...some people are complaining about how the blue looks much more purple (or "blurple) but I adore it...it matches the UV lights that I place in there PERFECTLY. A LOT of space, considering it is an mATX case. A solid 2-3 inches between the edge of the motherboard tray and the intake fan that sits in the front. You could most likely fit one of the bigger video cards in right here...with some slight dremel operate, you could most likely place one particular of the major ones in right here.Only a single intake ࿰mm) and exhaust 鲸mm) fan, but the way they are positioned in the case makes any other fans unnecessary. The 80mm intake blows straight over exactly where the RAM and CPU is (it's level with the mobo tray), and the exhaust fan sits straight above exactly where the CPU would be (and is right in line with the intake fan, just higher up.) The power provide sits directly more than the PCI ports...all collectively, this situation has wonderful cooling efficiency. Develop good quality is total trash. The front aluminum panel is made effectively, but the exact same can not be stated for the rest of the case. Everything FEELS low cost (luckily, it doesn't Look cheap...just feels like it.) The removable motherboard tray is really simple to slide in and out, but it is really possibly the flimsiest piece of metal I have EVER observed employed in a case. I assure you, there will be blood letting.High quality control on the case sucks as well. There were a number of holes I had to either make larger, or "move" over by drilling new holes so that my stuff would line up adequately. The worst 1 was the rectangle hole for the motherboard back plate...I had to dremel about half an inch to get it huge adequate so I could set up the back port plate that my mobo came with in there! When it is assembled, this situation looks great and does a fantastic job. Even totally loaded, it is really light and quite uncomplicated to move (I wouldn't trust the constructed in handle, even though...make positive you use both hands to carry it.)It could really feel low cost when putting your method in, but it only feels that way...once it's performed, it looks PHENOMINAL.Also, if you plan on placing in lights, make certain you get either 4 or 6 inch cold cathode tubes...there is no way to get the complete 12 inchers in there with no them operating across the windows. A lot of places to hide the mini ones even though.Cable management is also extremely effortless in this case, regardless of its modest stature. As with any mATX situation although, a modular power supply tends to make a Large difference...I very advocate finding 1 if you are going to obtain this situation.General, I would certainly suggest this situation. It feels inexpensive and the quality control sucks, but if you have the patience to make the install you will have a single slick hunting process when completed.

A handy size if you want to put additional than the minimal peripherals on a uATX motherboard. Light weight. Ventilation fairly very good. Fit my ThermalTake Silent 939 CPU cooler (not a beast, but taller than the stock AMD one). Power supply was DOA (or at least wouldn't light my motherboard, which is not a hungry 1--Athlon X2 4600+ on ECS mobo with integrated video). I place in an old Antec 380W unit that has served me effectively. Color on aluminum front face scratches effortlessly. Front USB and 1394 ports fit poorly, don't really line up with face plate. Top cover lip was bent a bit by securing screws. Feels a bit flimsy and unfinished, inside and out. Other than the PS, this point is not undesirable but not great. Manufacturer need to have removed the power provide from this product and spent those pennies on a superior top quality execution of a fairly good design. For example, since it has a take care of on the front, why not discover a way to place little rubber feet on the "back", which would develop into the bottom when you set the machine down deal with-up.

Its tiny, and the included PSU is really sufficient for its objective. I ordered the Blue one particular *Duh* and it looks purple... Genuinely Purple... Like so purple no matter what light you place it in its purple purple... When Crayola was making colors for its crayon box, they really should have named their purple right after this case... Its for a girl, so she loved the purple, its her preferred color, and blue was the closest we believed was readily available, heh, wrong. She started out jumping about like a lunatic when she saw how amazingly purple the purple cover is.Purple also doesnt rhyme with anything, or else i'd make a purple nerple song about its purpality. Manufacturer Response:Purpality? Lol. I'd say its somewhere in between a indigo and midnight blue. :)On a really serious note, really should you be concerned about the true color of any of our situations please email us at assistance@apevia.com and I will give a digital photograph for you.

The case is compact and simply carried, as I wanted. I also wanted to have two front 5.25 bays, which was the deciding aspect in this case. The power supply has a great cable assortment, not as well lengthy for the size of the situation. The internal bracing as properly as the shroud aid to stiffen the case when totally assembled. The situation has quite nice venting on the front and sides, allowing for a quite uniform air flow even though the situation. I took the temperature sensors and stuck them into the heat sinks of my Video card and energy regulators, since the rest of the situation was too cold to be concerned about. The metal does indeed feel "flimsy" but that is largely due to the quite thin metal applied (mostly for weight purposes). There are a number of important places that I would have either welded or riveted together to provide a stiffer situation, namely the four bottom corners. The Motherboard tray only utilizes two screws to fasten in, employing the overlapping shroud for the rest of it. The position of the energy provide tends to make it needed to either take away the PSU or slide the motherboard tray out completely to get the expansion cards out. I located the far more cramped place was in the front when I was hooking up Floppy, CDROM and Audigy Drive. It would be nice if the fans had connectors for the onboard controllers, with adapters for the Molex. The front panel Audio cable is virtually also brief, appears how most Mobos have the audio connector in the back, not the front. Identical with the Firewire, but my mobo doesn't have Firewire. PSU is insufficient to power a Quad core as nicely as a Larger end video card.. even a 7950GX2 Half tempted to add one more screw to the bottom near the front of the mobo Tray to secure it much better.. Will need to have a shorter CD-Rom for a total size PSU. If you want somthing built like a tank at the expense of a five.25 bay and ease of HDD replacement and perhaps one more hundred bucks, go with a Fragbox, other than that, this situation has all I could ask for. Oh.. They /really/ really should make the Audio with an HD Audio plug as nicely.

Fantastic small situation. Apevia builds a decent item and NewEgg usually excels at price, shipping and customer assistance. Contemplating the price of this unit, was somewhat disappointed that the 120mm uv blue fan in the ps was not an led fan (one egg off). Also, but not almost as disappointing, there is an 80mm fan at the front of the situation beneath the five.25" bays that is also uv blue, but not an led fan. Figured there would be an abundance of bling considering that it is so hassle-free for a lan box. Need to have a blue led fan in the ps and at the front of the case. Interior need to be blue or black anodized, then you'd have an exceptional product.

Incredibly appealing situation. Good layout. This was my 1st SFF situation and I was pleased. As every person is saying, it's a small thin but tread with care and no difficulties. The looks are a definite plus and the slide out m/b tray is a ought to. Install your optical whilst the HDD tray is out. It held a 9600GSO no dilemma. The PSU will deal with 1 high end card plus typical gear and is solid. The blue fan on back is a good aesthetic touch. The triple see by means of sides are cool. It seems to cool nicely. An 80 in the front and 120 in the back with the PSU fan, its appears to move plenty of air. I haven't observed a heating challenge but. The carry handle is a lot much more solid than some reviews suggest. I had no reservations about carrying it by the handle as soon as it was assembled. It's not genuinely a con for me but it is a small thin. You have to assistance with one hand even though you move with the other. When the case is assembled then it isn't an problem. Only in the course of the develop will you notice the thin. Becoming due to the fact it's aluminum, it moves heat away from the source so it's a con I can reside with. Don't depend on the temp sensors. They make for a good display up front but I'm not convinced of their accuracy. This was a easy build. It consists of a Gigabyte G41 Intel board, an E5200 processor, 2gb of OCZ Gold RAM and an EVGA 9600GSO GPU. The optical is a Samsung and the HDD is a WD Caviar 320gb. It has been an straightforward build with small problems and the wife loves it. The factor scores simply in the mid 9's with 3Dག. Nothing at all crazy but it looks nice and she likes it and that scores points for me.

Do not personal this precise case yet, but the original version. have had absolutely nothing but good experiences with it, and hardly something that i would modify about it. the only thing i did notice is that, for having a massive, but needed, 120mm fan aimed at the cpu heatsink and difficult drive tray, there is little space for the air to go in the early version. i am extatic that they have changed this in the new model. it truly is excellent to see producers making merchandise far better and additional functional, instead of just generating a new appear for the precise similar case. each and every change produced, the 80mm in front, venting from the hdd's that goes directly out as an alternative of into the faceplate, moving buttons, even the redesigned handle, are all worthwhile modifications that do nothing but lower the temperature and make the end user's life easier.
