Comment:
Light weight. In a world of ATX mid and complete sized towers ranging from 20-30 pounds EMPTY, its nice to see a case that weighs 18 pounds totally loaded. The included energy provide is beefy enough to run an E6420, MSI 8600GTS-OC, Gigabyte mATX G965 mobo, WD 320GB AAKS, 2GB of DDR2, and a light-on 20x sata dvd burner with lightscribe. (all of which I appreciate) And it just looks wonderful. Metal is flimsy thin. As in don't lean on it or it will flex. Theres a dent in the side I can only clarify by my thumb pressing also challenging when sliding on the cover. Very best I could describe it as a single step above soda pop can thinness. A different Con is when you have it all built, if you want to add a card, you ought to take away the power provide which is not an easy job in such a confined area, with all energy cords correctly routed already. Either that or disassemble the Whole setup and eliminate the motherboard tray. There are WAY as well a lot of power leads coming off the PSU as other people have noted. Lastly, the 4 LED fan in back, 1 of the LED's sits there and flickers on and off. Given all the cons I noted above, you may possibly feel I don't like this case. On the contrary, I like it, and consider it appears good. Will I buy an additional one, probably not. Its just also challenging to perform with. Aside from acquiring to have tiny hands to get every little thing all plugged in and operating when assembling, the metal is just also thin for as significantly moving (I go to LAN parties all the time) as I do.

The cooling that this case can supply is excellent! I was seeing temps anywhere from 25c (idle) to 35c (load). It even seemed to do genuinely very good with a video card. My Galaxy KFA2 9500GT would run at about 40c (idle) to 45-50c (load). The PSU on the other hand... ...I am really upset with, for the most element. When it was working, it was wonderful, but just after my a single year warranty ran up, the 120mm fan in it died. I'd like to replace the fan, but I'm not sure how considerably damage the PSU has taken, and this disappoints me to no finish. I'm utilizing a spare PSU I have, but would like to use the Apevia PSU again. Other than the 120mm fan, the PSU is truly very good. I'd appreciate Apevia to replace the PSU for free, with shipping on me, but I'm confident that wouldn't occur. I would definitely recommend at least the case, even though. It only comes with a 120mm fan for the back of the case, so you'll have to buy your own 80mm for the front (for intake), but that's no big deal.

Love the size of this thing, tiny, compact, portable. I like the style of the case, fits my personality per-se. Extremely incredibly very good ventalation, haven't had any heat troubles so far since installation. Also I was afraid of the case scrubbing across the top of my vid card or hitting my CPU fan that came with the processor, but to tell you the truth, it clears it like butter. Has enough space to slide appropriate beneath the edges. Now even so I will say this, whoever is organizing on making use of an aftermarket jumbo CPU cooler, forget it, doesn't have sufficient space for it. As far as this goes, was a small bugged that I was able to see that the temperature display on the front was changeable from centigrade to fahrenheit but didn't know how to do that. Found out that if you do go to their website they give you detailed instructions on how to switch it. I managed to do it in two steps without having removing the front panel. If you appear proper in the region of the display behind it, there is a circle opening there. Just discover a screwdriver and flip the switch from there. Great appear. The Thumb screw came stripped out, Very thin metal, the case panel wouldnt side into location so i had to slide it up were it went and put thumb screws in to hold the sides in. Also had a grounding difficulty and would restart my pc when i touched the front of the case on the blue metal peice. Wouldnt advocate this case at all, i RMAed it and got a antec in its spot. Manufacturer Response:If you are getting problems with a short when touching the metal on the front panel, that can be fixed. There must be a little black wire ending in a metallic loop. You would will need to ground the wire to the back of the front panel by screwing it in one particular of those holes. If you want to have a picture sent for clarification, you can speak to service@apevia.com.

Quite superior looking, light case. Smaller and compact. Case was shipped from cali. took awhile to get it. When I did get it and hooked it up the cpu temp lcd was broken. Dont feel like taking almost everything out and waiting another four days. I just ate this a single. General a superior case. I will be shopping for far more.

Good Case for HTPC, but...... Apevia requirements to either produce these instances without the Energy Supply or put an updated Energy Provide in it. Most excellent mATX Motherboards nowadays demand an 8 pin (P8) connector for CPU Power. The Power Supply in it now is generally useless. I believe it must come with at least a 550 or 650 watt that has a P4Ǟ connector for CPU. Manufacturer Response:There are a lot of motherboards (standard as nicely as Micro ATX) that call for only a four-pin connector. Also, you need to be in a position to energy a motherboard with an 8-pin connector using the included power provide and purchasing a 4pin-8pin adapter cable is yet another way that can power your method.

Great case for my utilizes. As a college student, I tend to be on the move often, so a case that can transport quickly is excellent. The handle is good, although I don't completely trust it.It looks Amazing! Short wires. There's only one particular power connector for a graphics card, but at the similar time, there seriously isn't area for a new huge graphics card.I'm thinking about upgrading my PSU anyway, so these issues might not even impact me at all. Stuck a GA-EG41M-US2H in this case. Went in wonderful. Works wonderful. Any complaints that I have aren't seriously large issues for me. Make positive you look at the specs ahead of you obtain. I picked this case due to the fact it was the a single for me. It could not be for absolutely everyone.

Lightweight, portable, can accommodate three HDD's, mobo tray tends to make develop less difficult, 80mm front and 120mm rear case fans, LCD temp display on front of case, fingerprint-resistant finish on aluminum. Low wattage/current power provide and low-speed fans not suitable for some CPU/build combos, might be tricky to use longer modular PSU's, thin metal, deal with is attached to the plastic faceplate and not to the metal frame, sharp burrs on thumbscrews will need to be filed down. Plastic rivets securing windows sometimes aren't flush but can be pushed back in. Accommodating three HDD's was critical for me, and getting an empty 5" bay below my DVD drive was really beneficial for stowing excess PSU cabling.I needed a larger PSU and discovered that the 700W OCZ ModXstream, whilst longer than the stock PSU, is just brief enough to clear the rear of the DVD drive. Be careful with longer modular PSUs.I replaced the stock case fans to maintain the Core I7 920 cool. My rig weighed in at 18 pounds. Be cautious working with the manage, its steel but supports all the weight by hanging on to the plastic faceplate. This is a well designed case. Looks incredible and its so quiet!!! I build PCs for a living and this is one of the quietest circumstances Ive ever purchased. The noise level alone tends to make up for any other shortcomings this case may have. If you have all SATA disk-drives there will be no issue with the energy provide placement.

It's not blue, it's not purple, I am not certain what you would call it. The color does not clash with the black drives I installed, just a extremely strange color. The case layout is okay for most matx mobos, with a little space to spare. Insure you get the shortest CPU cooler you can get to clear all the upper level brackets, plates, and drives up on best of this case. The temp display is a nice add to any case, not positive how accurate it is, but it must be fine. Be gentle with the cover, specially when it is removed from the case! This factor wil bend or kink with the slightest of ease! Good light case with a contemporary design that really should make most LAN party goers content. It is special in look, and very functional for the most avid technique builders.

Its smaller and it looks pretty cool. Its good if you dont want a mid tower. I got it just so i could make a straightforward gaming computer with out spending over 1,000$. The LCD screen in the front is cool to appear at, although it isn't incredibly accurate. This case was ok. The one dilemma i see in it is that the metal is pretty affordable. The finish on it is seriously bumpy and the top is incredibly challenging to slide back on. It takes a very good amount of time. The removable mobo tray is good, but it is also flimsy. I believe the case is a great notion, its just that the quality could be improved. Don't get this case if you plan on employing an aftermarket CPU cooler. There is about 5mm of room left immediately after installing the stock 1 that came with my AMD X2 4600+

-case is massive sufficient for a massive size graphics adapter.-construction is sturdy adequate to take from place to location.-standard energy supply size.-case size (small is good in my opinion).-temperature monitoring on case front.-handle feels sturdy. I can truly carry it around by it without worrying about it falling off.-good ventilation (even with included fans). -included energy supply is just a bit weak for my build. I replaced it with a greater wattage regular size energy provide.-the paint is a little bit rough, and thus gathers dust and is challenging to keep clean searching.-1 tough drive bay. Great case. Most likely the finest case that you can get in this size. I wouldn't however, obtain any case in this size if I didn't have the will need for it to be semi-portable.

-Larger power provide than original x-qpack-Smaller footprint (even though it's 1" bigger than the old x-qpack)-Front vents-Nicer silver (and slightly sturdier) manage-Blue color is actually a lot classier looking than in the pic (but not that electric NY Giants or NY Mets Blue) I expected an electric blue color like in the pic, when it arrived I thought they sent me the all-black one. The metallic blue is much more like a dark night-blue... it's essentially quite good, like a purplish midnight blue on the vw passats. Nonetheless, not the color I was expecting. The plastic rivets holding the plexi on were popping out left and appropriate. It ships in it's own box, mine arrived with a spiked dent from the inside out that looked like someone tried to fire a nail by way of the roof of the case suitable behind the PSU which left a tall stalagmite of a dent. That's not a typo, the dent was from the inside out. A couple of inches away there was also a 4 inch linear dent but this time from the outside in, and also by the PSU but by the quite rear of the case. Possibly it's my imagination but the metal appears thinner than the old qpack which I'm a massive huge fan of. I RMA'd it. I was willing to live with the darker color and even 1 of the dents, but when I realized that each dents had been right more than the PSU and then those rivets kept popping out I decided it had to go back. On an additional note, the center of the leading of the front bezel can be pushed inward (and stuck in that way) as nicely as the similar center spots on the sides. Don't know if my case was just out of whack but I didn't encounter this with the original qpack. I'm nonetheless preparing on ordering a different, the design is excellent and deserves a second opportunity.

AND THE MAJORITY OF "ALUMINUM" IN IT IS THE LOWEST GRADE IM Confident YOU CAN MIX AND THEN IM Certain THEY THREW SOME PLASTIC INTO THE ALLOY WHEN Creating THE SLURRY. MINE CAME WITH A BENT MOTHERBOARD TRAY THAT WOULDNT HOLD A IO PLATE SO Essential TO Extremely Very carefully MOVE IT BACK TO SHAPE. AND PAINT HERE AND THERE HAS COME OFF, IT IS THINNER THAN THE THINNIST OF PAINT MEMBRANES, WHEN THE WIND BLOWS THE COVER IN HALF IM Sure IT WILL TAKE HALF THE PAINT TOO!! I HAVE Plenty OF THEM BUT HAVE ALREADY WASTED Enough TIME ON THIS Assessment. FOR THE Cost YOU WOULD Expect Superior, SO Keep Searching. AND THE Difficulties I ENCOUNTERED, WHAT AM I GONNA DO.....SCREW MY HARDWARE TO A WALL While I WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR AN RMA TO EVENTUATE. It's' smaller; it's light; it has a matte finish save for the windows and the bezel, so fingerprints don't show as significantly. The removable motherboard tray gives hope to clumsy, big-fingered individuals like myself. Today's world of insanely huge heatsink/fan combos indicates you have to be careful in your alternatives with this case. The case metal is pretty thin, and some edges aren't rounded off. The bezel is gloss, which 1 wouldn't think from the images. The closest color I've noticed to the bezel is "electric indigo"; I'm glad I didn't believe those who known as it purple--my wife loves purple, and she would _not_ call this purple. I, OTOH, like the color a lot. More attention appears to have paid to particulars than on the mumble-mumble micro-ATX case I ended up employing for my wife's new laptop or computer.

Cute, compact, hard drive bay slides in well, motherboard slide mounts fine. It's certainly very fairly. The front fan came DOA. The back cover was bent and it was a struggle to get the cover off. There is about 1" of room among the power supply and the back of an installed DVD-ROM. Don't know if this is the mobo or the case's fault but the HD LED front connector was not normal and I could not get it to work. Incredibly cramped, crowded, hard to work in, and the excellent of the product is certainly dubious. Really honestly, I would've returned this as soon as I finished building it, but the thought of having to go back in there and pull every thing back out was exhausting.

Holds just about every thing you require and fits in locations that a tower won't. 6 months and not a single challenge! Adore the seperate motherboard tray. I've spent this much for a power supply and the 1 that was included tested out much better than any that I've paid for! Three clear sides! Add a few black lites, some floresent cables, a couple of led fans and it will appear like a ride at Disneyland! My "Butterfly"cpu cooler wouldn't fit w/o cutting a rail. Power supply has been too very good to replace, (have an old PowMax 580 Demon that didn't self-destruct, would look excellent in there and would fit too). No fan speed controler or backlit logo on front like other apiva situations (I like flashy). Wish I had gotten a red one instead (not flashey sufficient). Put a Sytrin harddrive cooler/case in the best slot and a couple of Cooler Master SLC-S41-U1 chipset fans on the MB, looks like Walley in the dark. You'd be surprised what you can squeeze into one of these. Wish they created something like this for an atx.

The case itself is fairly light. The stock fans are all pretty quiet. Has room for two double-wide, additional long video cards. I've got fairly a bit of equipment stuffed into this box -- not significantly room left over, but you can surely fit every little thing required into this box. The case itself looks pretty sexy. Entire chasis is created out of fairly thin sheet-metal - in reality it's probably the flimsiest case I've ever observed. There is not substantially reinforcement in between the front and the back faces of the machine. The front plastic bezel appears extremely fragile. There's not a lot of clearance for the CPU fan, so be incredibly careful with aftermarket coolers I have eliminate the fan from my heatsink prior to the mobo-tray will slide in/out. (And I can't get the cpu-fan without having eliminate the gfx card, and I can't remove the gfx card w/o removing the power-supply. Yeah...)The temperature's on the front lcd are feed from external probes that you have to position. I had hoped it may possibly really show the BIOS reported temperatures rather. Based on the cost, I have a difficult time believing the power-supply is of considerably good quality. I would have a lot rather had the case only, and not have to pay for the power supply. Based on the construct-excellent, this case could in all probability have been half the cost. I ended up needing a 600W energy supply anyway, so I had to upgrade it.I bought a COOLER MASTER GeminII S RR-CCH-PBU1-GP 120mm fan for the CPU, and it's about 5mm too tall to fit correctly in the case. I was able to use a hacksaw to clear a small far more space to enable the fan to fit (didn't appear to impact structural strength a lot). This was a replacement for an older model barebones-shuttle case. I would say shuttle instances have a considerably higher level of engineering, design and construction in a a lot smaller footprint. That stated, I don't feel I could run gfx card I wanted in any of the shuttle situations, so it's a tradeoff.

I have to say I was skeptical although this case was on its way to my house, not being confident that i really should have of ordered it. It got here, i opened the box and wow! arrived just fine, no dents dings or scratches. Case is pretty little, looks really nice, and the front colored component is aluminum NOT PLASTIC which is a extremely good touch. It is a lot more purple than blue but nonetheless looks good. Leads me to beleive that all the colors that this case is obtainable in are slightly off than what is advertised. But this case is nice. The blue led fan looks good especialy at night. decent cooling. My dual core cpu in no way get more than 30 degree's celcius under load. the temperature probes function like they say they do and they are extremely sensitive to temperature change so your readout is very accurate No cons The case fans run extremely quiet. system stays cool inside depending on what hardware your running i guess, but with my setup is ok. the power supply is quite good and has never failed at all.

Gorgeous Desktop Case; Little fits easly on my desk; Comes with sufficient power supply; HD & CPU temp monitor; fairly easly assembly; Blue LED rear fan; Much more than enough cooling for me. My Corsair 550watt psu will fit despite the fact that I did not use it. The only genuine con is the rear fan is a little loud but it pulls a lot of air. Wish it had two front fans; Front fan is mounted on appropriate side and does not blow directly on south bridge and GPU although this does not appear to be a challenge as the PSU is mounted above the GPU and assists cool it. Mounting screws for HD cage stripped out and had to put nuts and bolts on it. Front panel is tough to get off, two smaller screws are located under the floppy drive bay. If you need to have to take the front panel off you have to completly disassembly the PC. The initial time I put it together I could not get it to come on No Power. Thought PSU was poor and tryed my Corsair and still absolutely nothing. Dissasmebled and started all more than agin and located I had missed pluged the USB connector for my Card Reader. Up and running now. Added an OCZ Ram Cooler I had laying about just for show. Have two DVD burners, Card Reader and 2 HD mounted and works fantastic. Had a couple of assembly problems that were my own fault. Still believe this is a terrific case. Will in all probability purchase a different soon as my loved ones sees it.

Its a nice compact pretty well developed case. I wanted some thing modest that I could put near the big screen and use for games, music, and movies and this was great. Have a modest Intel ATX MB with a 3G P4 Duo and a 7900GS card. Not generating a ton of heat but havent noticed any cooling issues. Major fan in the back is all I require, included PS is sufficient for me and the slide out tray is best. Completely satisfied with this case. I dont like the thermal sensors supplied, 1 for HD and one for Proc. I was by no means in a position to apply them appropriately and the temp reading they showed was next to useless. Finally just put them to the side but I wish I could zero them out. Silly but I like the see through case and the blue light glow.
