This is a very nice case for the dollars. If your tired of the exact same 'ol very same 'ol tower case, this is a good modify.I assume way to several persons are expecting too much. This case isn't a high finish gamers case. If you are a high end gamer and alter your hardware as generally as the wind blows....stop reading. This is a case that functions perfectly for the person that just desires to develop a nice pc. You can fit the newest technology in this case and have a nice technique. Plus, how quite a few producers have reps respond to comments and leave advise and enable to these comments??? These are not cons. This basically explains what to count on.Thin sheet metal case - As long as you are careful, it will be fine.Tight space to function in - Not terribly tight but can be annoying.Energy Supply is not the greatest in top quality - Did you expect a Power Provide that could run anything for this value? All in all this is a very good case. I appreciate the way it appears. That is initially what created me buy it. Handful of smaller troubles aside it is definitley worth the money. Just bare in mind what I stated in my pros comments. This is not a case for the picky or hardware junkies that need to have to switch out hardware each week. Also, Megan Fox is the hottest issue in the globe.

Nice size, light-weight, slide out MB tray is good, seems like it ought to have great air flow. I like possessing front panel temperature readout. Aluminum is thin and quickly flexes. Screw that holds front panel had screw-head easily stripped. Replaced stock fans with Thermaltake case fans, runs relatively quiet.

i have a lot of excellent factors to say about this case... the formfacter is eyecatching. all my close friends at the tech bench are eager to see what i do with it, even although they have the similar mobo/proc i do (intel retail bundle). there's a lot more space than you would initially guess in it. i also ran into no durability troubles as other users say they have (though i did accidently scratch one of the windows incredibly slightly). 500 watt power supply is common size, and simple to replace, although not needed for starters. as previously mentioned, the front fan does not illuminate, and i strategy on replacing it with a new one. not truly a huge deal, but it'd be nice to have some symmetry. apparently as opposed to absolutely everyone else who got this unit, mine ought to have been put together also properly, as i attempted to adhere to the tips of a few other eggers and disassemble the front face to check it's integrity and have failed miserably (making it difficult to swap out my fan). thie factor does NOT want to come apart with out a fair quantity of force. possibly they heard us out there, huh? nonetheless, i just want to place my fan in and get in touch with it a day, but i can't genuinely be mad that the issue is solidly place with each other, you know? this is essential... soon after reading critiques from other customers, i was nervous to order this because to hear them inform it you have assembly problems and size challenges. i was capable to fit the stock intel cpu cooler (for a Q6700) into the machine using the sliding tray, and i can still put my hand amongst it and the rail the PSU sits on. plenty of area for the most substantial-end video. nvidia 8800's and ati 8750's aren't a issue. only hight problems are going to come from tower-coolers.oh, and ups pulled a "ding-dong-ditch" i was lucky to have fantastic neighbors. no box to hide what the unit was, and they just dumped on my doorstep in my big apartment complicated. i was lucky to see it there when i got residence at 3ᛆam. aren't they supposed to leave issues at the workplace?

Little Size, decent look The supplied Power Provide is older motherboards. Had to replace to use case with Phenom II GigaByte MBD (Need far more total specs in NewEgg listing) Somewhat overpriced, based upon older PS configuration.Thin metal chassis, distorts during shipping due to PS weight and poor PS mounting to rear panel, using two cover screws and two rear panel screws. The PS demands support at other finish as well. Temp monitors will probably be utilised for other than CPU and HD temps, as modern MBDs, CPUs and HDs have temp monitoring built in. Some cables to motherboard just sufficient in length. Need a "refresh" in style to better accommodate contemporary motherboards, processors, and configurations. Added USB connectors on case would be an improvement.Size was the major consideration in ordering this case.(Registered OEM/VAR)

Currently personal a couple of these for more than a year, good layout and style. Poor good quality, Apevia really should be ashamed to foist these onto the public. Front cover static electrical short shuts technique down if touched. Front grills fall off if touched. Latest batch is horrible, just received two, both had to be RMA'd. Foolishly ordered a replacement before I knew that each situations I received were negative, hope the replacement is excellent, don't anticipate it to be. Poor fit and construction, paper thin material, dented cover and tweaked chassis. Excellent not at all in line with premium price This good quality problem is anything that Apevia has failed to address. They continue to sell a subpar case without having any effort to rectify the shortcomings. Apevia, you have fooled me for the final time. I will not think about any Apevia merchandise for my organization in the future, I suggest you do the exact same.

As soon as built, this is a nice light and compact case, with nice airflow. The temperature display on the front is a great addition that other individuals should copy. Integrated power supply was not EPS12V compatible, so did not provide the complete 8-pin 12V power connector for my new Core i7 make. Replacing the power supply requires fantastic care to uncover one that will fit devoid of colliding with optical drive. I did uncover 1 that fit, but it also needed cutting/filing away component of the aluminium at the back to make space for the power plug. The fans are four-pin molex connectors, so no fan monitoring or control by the motherboard. The 120mm fan draws way too a lot air, causing noise. Without having the exterior shell, the create was generally silent. But placing the shell on, 1 can hear the air becoming sucked via.The aluminium employed is incredibly quite thin and soft. It is nearly inevitable that you will bend components through the construct. Quality control is also shabby...my case arrived with a major dimple about the leading screw hole on the back that secures the shell, as if it was dropped on it's rear before being placed in the undamaged box. After replacing the power supply and both fans, this is an OK case, but nearly twice as pricey now. Still I wouldn't thoughts paying another โ-์ for a comparable case with stronger aluminium or steel construction, specifically for the MB tray, modular EPS12V PSU, and superior fans. This is not a case that one particular can access and replace components in very easily. Accessing the slots demands removing the MB tray or moving the PSU, and one particular of the optical drive screws is hidden behind the HDD chassis. Some rails or other much easier mounting selections for the HDDs and optical drive would be a good addition.Deal with on the front is possibly additional decorative than valuable. As an alternative of 2x three.five" HDDs, I place 4x 2.five" HDDs inside for far better throughput and IO ops/sec, plus they are quieter, lighter, and very power efficient.

Slick look, uncomplicated to perform on Power provide could be beefier, doesnt fit a more substantial GPU (such as an 8800 or 9800) without having modifications, situation cover is flimsy All in all a great situation. The case cover is rather flimsy, but not a massive deal. The included 500-watt power supply might be very good for a bare-bones media center, but if youre powering a quantity of drives, a quad-core cpu, and an add-on gpu you'll want more energy. In order to match a modern day card such as an nvidia 8800 or 9800 you'll need to break out your dremel and cut a smaller peice of the case away.operating with components within the situation can be tedious, as it is quite small - but then, thats the point of a micro atx situation. just know that going in, and have some patience, and you'll be fine.when putting in the hardware into the situation there is a definite order of operations, butif you adhere to the integrated manual it lays it all out in the suitable order.three eggs for the following causes:situation cover is flimsy500w energy provide just isnt adequate IMOminor modifications (easy and basic with a dremel) required to fit a more substantial gpu.

The internal layout rocks for as little a footprint as it requires up. This case CAN fit an HD5870, something numerous of its considerably larger, substantially heavier, and much more high priced brothers can't do. Looking at the remaining space, it looks like an HD5970 could fit as well, simply because the energy connectors are on the top rated edge of the card, not the front edge. (see Other Thoughts for a caveat). You will will need a larger PSU if you get the beefy new graphics cards. The situation may be a little flimsy, but getting created of aluminum makes it relatively light and a lot less difficult to carry and transport. And I don't plan on utilizing it any time quickly as a step stool. Only two HD bays as effectively, but in the age of 1TB+ drives, who cares? If your motherboard has the PCI-e x16 slot as the second closest to the CPU, you should be able to finagle PCI-e power connectors into the top-edge PCI-e power connectors of the HD5870/HD5970. Unfortunately, my PCI-e x16 slot is closest to the CPU, and I had to Dremel out a huge opening in the unused reduce five.25" drive bay and go in via the back of the bay. Not too difficult, given that it is aluminum, but still...It's also simpler to set up if you remove the PSU (and vital with my certain HSF). And due to the fact the PSU fan is ideal above the card, it acts as an additional fan to suck VGA heat out of the case.Method:AMD Phenom II 720Xigmatech HDT-SD964 HSFBiostar TA790GX XECorsair XMS2 DDR2-1066 4GBThermaltake 750W Toughpower Modular PSUSapphire HD5870

This situation/power provide combo has a lot of functions for the price. The power provide was much more than sufficient for my mid-level method, and leaves decent capacity for future expansion. There is also a lot of area for expansion for all but the biggest video cards. The situation fans are quiet and the overall cooling is good. You can also get the situation in a number of colors. There are some little problems with the item that have largely been discussed in prior testimonials. The outer cover is created of really thin gauge material and can be dented with your finger if you push tough. Also, the labeling on the front cover was only partially printed. The energy connectors on the harness were a Very tight fit from time to time (which is a fantastic issue once they're connected) Finally, the item shipped in only its manufacturer's packaging, with no more shipping box so it is very easily susceptible to shipping harm. This case is a good deal for the cost. All round, I wouldn't hesitate to get a different.

Very best cooling I have found for a modest form issue case. Front panel temperature gauges are a great touch. lots of places inside to zip tie wires out of the way. out of the eight of these I have utilized in the last couple years 3 came with power supplies that exactly where DOA or died very speedily. Having area more than CPU to allow for a side flow cooler would be a good fit with the airflow style. Watch your knuckles in these items, the metal is sharp. A lot of complaints have been produced about space, either for video cards or crazy extended energy supplies.Realistically these cases are not designed to home a high finish gaming machine. If utilised for a regular use process they work great, with ample room.

Good case layout The poorest good quality you can consider. Received two of these circumstances, each damaged by the manufacturer. Case covers were each dented in specifically the similar spot. Grill cover was laying loose in box, screw on covers missing as nicely as chassis bent. Purchased two of these in the previous, they weren't the finest top quality but arrived intact with out defects. This most current batch is pure garbage with poor top quality control from Apevia. Stay Away! Would undoubtedly anticipate better than this From Apevia and Newegg. This is an costly case that looks like a kid built it.

Good size - fans already there - excellent ventilation - manage makes it uncomplicated to move about - space for anything I need to have I hope they brace it just a bit far better. Once it is put collectively it is extremely sturdy but it can be messed up if you are not cautious. I did it a tiny at a time and checked and rechecked every single step so no marks, no bending, and it holds up. I wanted a modest case because I live in a studio apartment and size is crucial. This case meet my requires perfectly. It has the connections correct where I want them, doesn't take up significantly room, holds all the stuff I require, PSU is good for what I do(I have but to get the temps over 35C), looks very good without shouting out about it (I didn't get the windows since I don't will need to see what a mess I created of the inside).Would get the same thing once again. It meets my requires extremely well. If Apevia doesn't brace it greater then the next time maybe I will.

Looks cool. Lightweight and compact style makes it simple to move around. If you take your time when adding hardware installation will run smooth. Plenty of power. Solid when fastened with each other. Shipped speedy with no damage. Its a little loud but for great reason it does have two fans, 3 counting cpu fan. For some purpose the front audio ports didn't operate at all, but didn't need to have them. Make sure you get the wires bundled nicely and tucked behind the drive bays. I had an annoying rattle that took a minute to repair, the rear fan was causing a wire to vibrate against the outer shell. All in all far more than worth the dough.

Compact and portable, great look, I really like getting the challenging drive and CPU temp on the front of the case. I also like the positioning of the tough drive cage-- sort of off to the side, about as out-of-the-way as you could get in a case this smaller. Slightly awkward to work in. Yes, element of that is due to the truth that it's a MicroATX situation, but some of the layout could be greater. Also, the situation cover is really difficult to get back into location right after you take it off. I had to replace the power supply in mine since it only had two SATA connectors and I needed three. Go figure.

This situation is of a superior solid create. As opposed to what other people today have said, I have not had an issue with the front temp panel. I was able to install almost everything swiftly and almost everything fit wonderful. Seems to keep almost everything operating rather cool (compared to my final situation). Only two issues..a single isn't anything at all at all and the other is sort of aggravating. The initial is that the tough drive chassis is held in with two screws. The moment I pulled it out and installed two tricky drives the second screw couldn't be reached unless you have a screwdrive with a lengthy shaft...like I mentioned not a huge deal (one screw holds it in just fine). The second issue is that the reset button (once pressed a few instances) just broke off inside the situation (so I no longer have a reset button). It appears pretty flimsy (which is not so for the rest of the case. Other than the reset switch I really like this case so far. It is a sturdy situation with a lot of room in a smaller package. I would definitely get an additional 1. Manufacturer Response:Hello jec3315. Please contact us and let us know where you'd like your replacement reset switch to be sent. support@apevia.com

I purchased this situation as quickly as it came out in April 2007. I like the look and the fact that it had a 500watt PSU rather of the smaller a single that came with the original Qpack. Its nice and compact, but I was still able to get a graphics card, tuner card, and more USB card into the case. Soon after 1 year and three weeks, the power provide died...barely out of warranty. I rate as average, because the great situation outweighs the PSU problem, but beware of the PSU as other people have noted.

Pull-out tray created for an uncomplicated and error-no cost create. The tray seems unstable at very first due to its simple slot-backed, friction connection style. But the moment built is really stable. Looks sexy and delivers fantastic airflow. The situation is cheaply made with a rough spraypaint-texture finish. Scratches and pucks-up marks easily. When re-attaching the slip-over situation be careful wtih your fingers applying pressure to close as I accidentally pushed-in a single of the front mesh windows effortless-as-you-please. Had to open loosen the front faceplate to get it re-attached and glued. Not sure if this case will final lengthy hunting good. Replaced the (Apevia) PSU that came with for a modular PSU which made drive and power cabling significantly less difficult once the Mobo was in place. Replaced all fans with low-noise double-bb and it is whisper quiet when operating.

Apevia did a exceptional job on compacting the layout to a maximum quantity. Will not stand up to heavy LAN use. It would be wonderful if Apevia would either opt for a greater tempered aluminum (stiffer) or up the thickness.Much better nevertheless provide a Heavy Duty version, also on all of these it would be fantastic if you could order it with out the PSU. Case looks excellent. Appears to have decent air flow and the power provide operates for me. Pull out tray for motherboard. Situation metal is Quite WEAK. Even depends on your dvd/cd drive becoming connected to supports for strength. Not a sturdy design at all. You will NOT fit a big cpu cooler in this situation. My guess is about 80-90cm high at most like the fan. An old thermaltake R2 would not even come close to fitting. All in all this could have been a wonderful case if thicker aluminum or steel was utilised. The case is "strong sufficient" when entirely assembled but nonetheless flimsy. One tiny drop and it's over. Way more than! I would get a different situation specially if you plan on taking your pc anywhere often or intend to overclock.
