Cool, good, customize it if you want. can be left as is. can drill extremely good holes in it and place centrifugal fans and speaker cover for a very pro black on black finish. It is hard to uncover or to find (without buying) a more advanced CPU cooler for your self. 77MM max height CPU fan, 267MM max length graphics card. Fits a GTS 250 PNY nicely. Fits common PSU with way to many connectors haha. I personally needed a lot more fans for comfort. Like a project vehicle this factor is just enjoyable to preserve optimizing.

Awesome little case, in particular for the value. One particular of the 1st situations with power provide I've gotten that basically worked, and is nevertheless kicking right after a little over 3 months. Fitment of my 8800GT is pretty attractive, it's like they were meant to be together. My only actual complaint is that the outer shell which you eliminate open the case is a bit flimsy and genuinely annoying to put back on. It's a small bit larger than I had anticipated, but it's in all probability far better that way. Space inside is pretty limited, but I managed to fit three HDs and a DVD drive with no a great deal difficulty. The LED temp display functions good, but I discover it to be annoyingly vibrant at night. The reason I got the windowless case is simply because I can't stand bright LED's, I'm tempted to just construct a switch to turn it off. I adore this thing. The fact that I can fit it in my duffel bag with all my cables, connectors, and a weekend worth of clothes is just amazing. Me and my roommates go to LANs pretty regularly and this case is super uncomplicated to lug about, the front handle hasn't given me any trouble.

Looks fantastic, fairly quiet, and does the job very nicely. Worked well for my initial construct. Useing integrated video, stock cpu fan and no more than clocking. Stays cool at 28c idle and 37c operating TW 2003. None so far. Not considerably room, but enough to get the job carried out. Incredibly pleased with this product. Thanks Newegg.

Comment:
Tiny case and effortless to carry about. There is actually a lot of room in there than I thought there would be. The removable motherboard tray is truly good specially when I had to change a couple of components in the rig. Stock fans are quite quiet and do their jobs. Be cautious when taking off the best. I was careless sufficient to scratch the window when I did that. My rig contains: Athlon 6000+ with the ZALMAN CNPS8700 (yes it fits!), 8800 gt, 2gb RAM, 320GB HD with rosewill cooler, DVDRW drive and wireless card. The stock 500w PSU powered all of this with no issue. Even so, I did update it to the modular corsair PSU to lower the quantity of cables in the case. Use a lot of zip ties when wiring the inside, saves a lot of space. Also attempt to strategy out what you want inside this. Less components = better.

Cheap, looks cool. Flimsy case, energy provide couldnt even energy C2D 6600 with a 8600gt. The machine would just shut off in the middle of the game, the energy supply was the culprit. Superior case for low end use.

Compact, Fairly Quiet, Looks Superior, PSU considerably far better than expected. Metal feels flimsy but it holds together okay. Textured surface makes wiping off dust a PITA. PSU is featherlight but has been operating an Athlon 64x2 4800+, 2GB of RAM, two HDDs, a DVDRW and a Geforce 8800GTS 320MB just fine for the last 6 months. I seriously believed I may well need to have to replace it but I've had no stability complications. We shall see how it holds up subsequent week when I go to Vista x64 and add more RAM.

Comment:
Fairly tiny, good design Very poor build quality, Fore and aft case fans are powered through massive (poorly produced) Molex connectors rather than with connectors for board headers. Display is worthless (and pointless). I've worked on many, numerous instances and quite a couple of mATX instances. This is the 1st one on which I've cut myself (twice). Everything about this case is flimsy and of poor quality. Simply because the case fans don't connect to board headers, they need to be strung across the case (over the CPU fan). When connecting the fan Molex with the PS that came with the case, 1 of the socket pins pushed out of the Molex housing! The temperature display did not function correctly (strobed) but is easy to disconnect (by not connecting at all). The "manual" recommend the temperature sensors be "taped" to the CPU. What's the point; you'll get much more accurate temperatures from monitoring software program (plus you get alarms)? I should say, however, that (except for the fans) the layout was the best I've observed in an mATX case... unfortunately it's excellent is so low, I wouldn't suggest it at half the cost.

Comment:
It's a good update to the original case which I also had owned. It has enough space for a standard CD-ROM drive and a common power supply, which is fantastic. It's operating as my HTPC for the last half year now, and I have no complaints. 1 of the screws that hold component of the manage together with one of the springs came loose (thankfully not though I was holding the case by the handle). It was straightforward sufficient to take the front cover off (there's some screws to take out initial) and put the manage back together. After that I have had no complications. I really by no means had any complications with the manage in the very first edition of this case like so several people complained about, and it was my major lan party case, so I utilised the handle constantly with no troubles, and it was loaded to the brim. This handle for confident is incredibly secure, provided that you don't have the loose screw like I did.

NONE LCD is inaccurate and consistently buzzed. Known as Apevia Tech Support and got some idiot on the telephone who was technically challenged who continuously told me the buzzing was coming from the the front fan. I informed him my ear is against the LCD and it's coming from the LCD. Finally I hung up the phone and unplugged the speaker connection. Soon after all that, this is the kicker, I turned my technique on instantly afterwards for the 3rd time and owning the case for 27 days and smoke commence immitting from everywhere. Turned off, open the case and the power supply blew and the case wiring was fried.I WILL In no way Purchase One more APEVIA Item IN LIFE!!!! Buy at your own risk. READ THE Evaluations! I did and thought well they just got a poor case mine would be better. Okay, that positive worked out well.

Awesome case. Not only does it appear excellent, but it is quite well designed. The layout gives very good airflow without having having to modify it. There is even sufficient space to install a SATA backplane into it. There are warnings about which CPU heatsink you use with the processor, but as long as you aren't receiving a monster heatsink, there is a lot of room.It is nice and modest and very light. It does feel a bit flimsy. Nothing other than that. Yes, the case appears a bit flimsy, but you shouldn't be throwing your pc around anyways. And if you are, you shouldn't be worrying about the case, mainly because you probably have already badly damaged the components.

This beast can manage alot of modification. For any method builders that want one thing compact this case is for you. I at present have a 750 watt modular PS with a 9800 GX2 graphics running in mine with a E6750 with rosewill Z2 cooler. Couldn't ask for more for the cost. Men and women are appropriate when they say the aluminum is flimsy but following you get it all together it's not poor, and the case is light weight. The only loud fan is the 80mm sleeve bearing front intake fan. the 120mm is quiet. QYB! Have had this case for pretty much a year now and has been excellent. I have built a number of systems utilizing this case and have by no means had the troubles with PS that others are receiving except 1 of them the LED on the PS didn't function but wasn't a major deal breaker.

Read the critiques so I was cautious with the case. Housed a GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-US2H, an LG Blu-Ray Drive, a Seagate tough drive, and Phenom II X3 710 nicely. Case is quiet in my application. Had to use a Molex to SATA power adaptor for the hard drive as the connectors on the one string of SATA power plugs had been to close together. Would have been good to have two SATA strings.

I employed this case for my new spending budget laptop or computer, and it is pretty well created. I am able to fit most of the issues inside the case with no dilemma. The fans the comes with the case offer extremely great air flow. I like the temperature display also (even although they are not accurate) The PSU that comes with this case is completely garbage. I put together my system 5 days ago, and the PSU stopped working currently. Take into account the fact I am only putting moderate load on the PSU, the top quality of the PSU is really unacceptable. Luckily I have a spare 650 W PSU which I ordered awhile ago, and everything works well immediately after I replaced the PSU with it. This case is a lot more suitable for technique with low to mid-level configuration than high end configuration. Due to its size, you most likely won't be able to do SLI/Crossfire with it. Also, the slots for drives are quite restricted, so you will want to pick your drives carefully.

Good looking compact case. Very good ventilation with the two fans. I crammed this factor full with two DVD drives, two HDDs, XFX 9800 GT video card, Tv tuner card, e-SATA panel, and it miraculously stays cool. Sliding mobo tray make it effortless to function on. Sheet metal is a bit on the thin side compared to full size desktops I've worked on. My front audio jacks in no way seemed to work. I plugged in headphones and got only static. It's been a year and I just opened the case to install the video card and the temp gauges stopped operating. Superior case if you're tight on space.

Upgrade rating from 3 to 5 eggs mainly because Norman at Apevia did a quickly job of shipping a replacement temperature LCD and followed up promptly to answer my questions. The case is a good size and is fairly quiet. The aluminum casing is pretty filmsy but works properly once it is in place. Apevia consumer service is extremely accessable and responsive.

Figured out it was a ground issue and contacted newegg and they gladly did a rma for me. had to pay shipping for my return and newegg pays to have it shipped to you once more.

Comment:
Truly very roomy for a mATX case. Room adequate for 3 HDDs if you only use a single optical. One of the couple of mATX situations you can get with a single 120mm fan (lower frequency sound is *considerably* less aggravating than the whine of 40mm fans). Several 5.25 bays allow for a fan controller/LCD display as effectively as an optical - challenging to uncover in mATX. Less-than-stellar PSU. Most have held up well (I've built more than a dozen machines working with this case), but the voltages aren't consistent (as much as two+ volt variance on the 12V rail - UNACCEPTABLE in a modern day PSU). I have had 2 builds come back to me for dead HDD (one various times), and I suspect they were from voltage problems. 1 machine 'killed' 3 HDDs in a row before replacing the power supply (not proprietary, which at least makes the swap fairly straight-forward). Motherboard tray is *very* small-gauge metal, and uncomplicated to bend such that it won't line-up appropriately. Blue-LED exhaust fan appears out of location in an otherwise classy and understated case - very easily replaced with a regular fan although. A film of dust swiftly develops on the front intake grills. Much more of a looks concern than anything else - I have but to see CPU or HDD temps get above 36C, so it doesn't appear to impact cooling efficiency much.Taking price into account, this case is extremely difficult to beat. There are superior mATX and HTPC circumstances out there, but expect to pay double for only a slight improvement more than this one.

Excellent searching case, extremely sturdy construct, display on front very bright and clear. Also, it's surprisingly light weight. Video card fits in fine, identical with cpu heat sink. Effortless to hook up front USB and firewire. I'm going to be pretty nitpicky here, simply because I fairly a lot adore this case. As you may expect, it is a discomfort in the bum to put almost everything inside this case. My major issue was I have a sub-ghetto dvd drive that is rather lengthy, so it barely fits (It is fairly considerably touching the energy supply). If you want to take out the disk drives, you have to take out the difficult drives, but that's not a large deal. Also, it can be sort of complicated to put the cover back on, as it's rather flimsy. While I mentioned it's tough to get almost everything in it, they actually did a very good job of producing the most of the space. If you are careful about where you spot wires, it's genuinely straightforward to maintain almost everything good and cool inside.

I've purchased a number of q-pack's for developing client machines as nicely as my own. My great expertise with the original then called "Aspire X-Qpack" led me to obtain their most recent iteration. It gets some issues appropriate and other points want some function. Initial the very good things:-larger front vents for greater airflow-stronger steel handle (read cons next)-same chassis as x-qpack 1 (be it great or poor)-greater capacity PSU-still 1 of the smallest (volume wise) footprint of m-atx case While some issues had been much better, the following want some work-Although the vents placement was excellent, the way it's adhered onto the chassis leaves significantly to be desired. Upon cleaning it when some dust accumulated, the aluminum screen popped out. Putting it back was not a simple matter. You have to open up the entire front panel by unscrewing in various places before it is accessible. Once I did that, I identified that the screen was held in location by what looked like 6 melted points of plastic. It was really flimsy and disappointing. Essentially, if the screen pops off when you're cleaning. It's performed. You can't get it back in place unless you open the complete factor and then use a glue gun along the edge of the screen, or a soldering gun and melt all the plastic so the screen holds.-The handle feels like a steel bar which is strong enough, but it's not threaded via solid metal, just plastic housing. Sufficiently heavy components over long periods could weaken it to the point where it will pull thru In continuation, The PSU that it came with was not enough to power a GTX 260. I had stability complications where it would spontaneously reboot. I thought there was issues with the memory or the card, but not the PSU. Lo and behold, altering it with a Rosewill fixed it. I will say though that the program ran fine as lengthy as it was not under heavy 3D rendering load.I haven't had any m-atx boards, cpu's or gfx cards getting problems with fitting inside this case.I was originally going to give it 4 stars, but the PSU and the vent issue detracted from it. If they fix these issues, or you have the patience to do it your self, then this would be a worthy obtain.

Decent airflow. Portability is good if you're hitting up LAN games. Flimsy. The cover is a pita to get back on. LCD was DOA. Front vents are held on at two weak points (cleaning the vents caused 1 to break off). Right after 7months of owning PSU fan has died. Would not obtain once more. Gutting this factor nowadays and transplanting every little thing into a new case/PSU combo. Manufacturer Response:If you want assist with the case, such as obtaining the temperature gauge or power supply replaced, you can get in touch with Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. I like the various case style. I wouldn't believe of it as a gamer case due to fan height and the use of micro atx board limitation. But, it is ideal for an web, word processing loved ones room type PC. Fairly lightweight due to aluminum construction which can be a pro or a con as it is a tiny bit flimsy compared to a honkin' major case, etc. My youngsters and their buddies truly get a kick out of the windows all around and blue fans. Pretty cool style suggestions relating to HD tray as properly as motherboard on it's own slide-out tray. Mine was received out-of-the-box in ideal condition, all perfect. Can basically only use a stock fan due to height limitations. Not a dilemma with non-overclocking or new lower heat design cpu. Would definitely use this case once more.

Acquire wise when searching at MOBO's to make sure every thing will fit... Fans hook-up to the PSU, not the MOBO. If you want to run a fan controler get diverse case fans.
