APEX AL-D500EXP 500W Power Supply
Comment:
lots of connections, fairly low cost not modular Not a bad PS for the cash. Decent set of connectors and superior length. Pretty flimsy casing, but it does what it is supposed to do. Would deffinately purchase one more... Haven't owned it lengthy enough to know durrability, but seems like a pretty nicely built unit.

ideal for a develop, quiet, no problems. wires are long enough for mid tower. Ideal for a construct. I would get a different one for yet another construct. None thought that the shiney cover was going to make it appear affordable, but it is all superior.

Comment:
It is quiet and efficient. I brought it power a New video card I got to play 'Star Trek On-line'(ST:O). Everthing is working well. My old Power Supply produced asteady humming noise. With the new one, it is a little quieter in the home office now. wonderful cost for the power. I have not use it over a long period of time, so this evaluation is base on a 'out-of-box' encounter.

Cons:UglyFeels cheap

Pros:Lots of powerQuiet
Comment:
I didn't know you could get this much power for so cheap. Well, it works and it works good. If the aesthetics don't bother you, and you're not building the latest greatest Sandy Bridge build, go for it!

Cons:Runs a bit hot

Pros:Quiet, good connections, cheap
Comment:
Got this over-nighted as my previous power supply blew on an older PC. Runs great, with more then enough connections for a under $40 PSU. Cinch to set up.

APEX AL-D500EXP 500W Power Supply
Cons: Not enough connections for those with many hard drives/fans.

Pros: Great price for a 500w power supplyPerforms great.
Comment:
Decent power supply, good for a budget build. It lacks connections how ever and is unsleeved. It makes up for that in its performance however. Recommended for budget builds that will only have a few hdd's and a disk drive, aswell as minimal fans.

APEX AL-D500EXP 500W Power Supply
Cons: None so far.

Pros: 2 PCI-E connectors.Price.Plenty of cables.Silent.
Comment:
I got this PSU for 33.99 on special, currently powering my AMD X6 1055T overclocked to 3.8ghz with no problem. The voltage seem to be rock stable, even under full load ( checked with Everest and HWmonitor ). It may not be efficient as other well known PSU's out there, but that doesn't bother me. Highly recommend.
