Comments: I'd just like to say I was incredibly pleased with this item. It was delivered a day early from FedEx with no a scratch or dent. The door does look to be not the strongest, but works jsut fine. The front side USB ports function fine with my thumb drives. It has a extremely crisp, expert seeking design and style, quite robust and sturdy. I purchased this case mainly because I wanted a robust platform with a higher wattage powersupply, plenty of space ti expand, and I DID NOT want one of these crappy trendy hunting instances with lights in them that response to techno noise.

Striking although uncomplicated in design, good high quality for the price, a heck of a worth! Almost everything is regular on the inside, and the fit and finish is a lot better than other instances I have seen in this class. Panel gaps are small and lines are straight, at least on the unit I received. Well believed-out! Front hinges seem a small flimsy when in use, and the PSU is only 400watts, but other than that this is a fantastic case! I am so sick of most of the gimmicky styles current circumstances have - how can folks be proud to show off these gaudy piles of junk? The clean, industrial-yet-artsy look of this case sets it far above any other individuals in its price tag range and will give your Pc an air of dignity. This is an really effectively-created case; from afar it can pass as a considerably additional costly workstation and the value tends to make it all the far better!

This case is a fantastic case. The power supply that comes with it is very good. The HDD bay is straightforward to get rid of. It stays nice and cool. The 5 1ǚ" bays have unique screws that snap into location with no tools. The door can be annoying. We have 8 of these instances at function, and all the systems in them nonetheless work. The oldest one is just about a year old.

**PSU still functioning this whole time**-Solid Construction.-Lots of space.-Very good Air Flow: mounts for two 80mm intake fans and a Side and Rear exhausts.-Intake fans can cool drives in the reduce tray.-Quick release 5.25" Drive Bays-Swift release 3.five" HD enclosure-Front locking cover -As previously stated by "sys-integrator" the HD enclosure does not give room for right ventilation, -Depth of the case: the dimensions are virtually 2U rack server size so it's quite beastly. -Front cover is somewhat flimsy This was my old gaming rig from 2003 to 2006 with an ASUS A7N8X with a GeForce TI4200. Utilised at LAN parties, but now it's getting retired to a Linux box as a Router/Firewall and File Server.

Comments: This is an great case for the money. Really minimalist. It came with a different PSU than the one particular in the image, nevertheless 400W but with 20 amps on the ი rail. My only complaint are the side panels, they seem a small thin. My case came with a magnet for the front door as well. For 60 smackers, you can't beat this one particular.

Comments: This is probably the very best case I have ever worked in. Obtaining components and drives in and out is a breeze, for instance CDROM drives only pop in and out and there is no specific rail to mount on the drive. There is few sharp edges, even though I did handle to find a single when I was placing the motherboard in.I must say even though that it is definately a loud case. Air flow is excelent, but it makes a god awful quantity of noise. I assume the main point of noise is possibly the two fans in the powersupply. I intend to replace the stock fans with quiter ones that respond to heat.Second gripe, the directions show the front pannel just popping off. This is not the case when brand new as it has two or three modest screws holding it. I just about broke the panel attempting to rip it off prior to I realized the screws where there.Nonetheless even though, ideal case I have seen. Good to operate in. I advise.

Comments: Just completed making a new machine for a friend of mine making use of this case, and I have to say that you can't beat this case for the value!! (xxxxxxxxx) The case is incredibly well created, not inexpensive at all. My case came with black plastic on the air duct and five.25 fast release.PROs:-Good 400watt PSU with lots of lengthy connectors and the dual fans are quiet too. This PSU would price you xxx by itself.-Adjustable Air duct straight more than P4 socket. This also perfectly fits an 80mm fan to give it even far better air flow to the processor/mobo. CPU runs five-10 deg. C cooler with the added fan.-Adore the quick release for the five.25 bays-HD bays are positioned nicely, especially if you add front case fan/s. Each one can also be removed with a single screw.-Stylish, locking front door and pop-out two front USB ports-Thumb screws for side panels, nice tricky-to-drop design.-A lot of space to hide wires.-Removable three.5 bay-No sharp edges-Intel Approved! :-)CONs:-Only came with 1 case fan. It'd be good to get two or 3.-Front bezel has to be removed to take out five.25 drives.-Front door has no "click", "magnetic", or "snap" shut. You have to lock it or the door is totally free to roam. No major deal for the most aspect, as it does keep shut. The technique I put in this case:-P4 two.8Ghz 1Mb cache Prescott-ASUS P4P800 SE-1GB Vital PC3200 ƒx 512)-ATI 9600 A-I-W-Maxtor 160GB SATAOnce more, you can't beat this case from a price/quality/features standpoint!!

Cost, 400W power supply included, little footprint, plain and simple look and design. Thinner than usual metal, a single modest dent almost certainly from fabrication and not shipping. Chinese created... can we stay away from buying things from these guys? I don't assume so. I bought two Pc instances and 1 of them arrived moderately damaged with the shipping box OPEN induced by poor packaging from the manufacturer not newegg but newegg really should have make certain the packaging was right... they didn'tNo issue, I named newegg and a replacement is on its way.I'm satisfied.

Comments: Ordered this case from newegg.. of course. Nothing at all incorrect with it when I got it from Fedex. Almost everything about this case is sweet. I am running P4 3.0Ghz on Asus P4C800 with a 9700 Pro and two hard drives.. so the energy supply is fine so far. The ONLY issue I had was locking the cd-rom into the slot. It has a quite crappy lockin technique that didn't operate with my Lite-On CDRW. Or maybe that's just me. *shrug*

Comments: Adore this case. Got it to create a database server in, and have had no difficulties at all with six tough drives (system drive, swap drive, and a raid Ư) an, XP 3200+, and 1.5Gigs of RAM on the stock energy supply. The only issue NOT in this situation that I had planned on possessing right here are the tape drives. The door wont close with the tapes in!! I slapped 2 fans on the front mounts, and temps have been LOW, even with the partial blockage of flow by the locking panel/door. Excellent case, excellent (typical) NewEgg service and speed, but dont expect to get your Travans in it!

Comments: Excellent case. Place a ABit IS7-E2 board with a Intel P4 three.0e Ghz processor in it. The P4 has no overheating difficulties in this case, even with the stock heatsink/fan combo on the processor and the stock fan that comes with the case. Case also has a 400w energy supply which, along with getting P4 validated, makes it a wonderful case for the dollars if you're putting together a P4 technique.

Comments: This chassis is sleek & qualified-hunting. Some others have tried working with this for SMP servers, but I would advise a chassis with far more robust cooling and a better PSU for such purposes. What I've been employing these factors for is devoted firewalled routers. Performs fantastically for such a goal considering that it's got good cooling on the HDD baskets (front fans not integrated, but they're 2x 80mm), a solid (albiet low-finish) PSU, and a locking front door. This chassis has plenty of room for wire management, and it usually well-built. The only factor I had to do was to take away the air vent integrated on the 80mm side port and replace it with an exhaust fan. Runs cool, and that's crucial for Linux boxen that under no circumstances get rebooted (ever). five stars from me, as lengthy as you don't use it for a high-finish server or workstation. For that, you'll do effectively to go a small greater end.

Roomy, decent style. Door fell off hinges following awhile. I purchased this case back in 2004 for a P4 build that I did. I was surprised to see they're nevertheless selling this case. I am now finally replacing it (and the P4 Computer), and would like to say that this was a solid case. Sure the front door fell off, but I seldom employed it anyways. I also replaced the power provide soon soon after I got this case because it was too weak for what I wanted to add to the case (multiple drives, high finish video card, and so on.). But for most straightforward configurations, the power supply must be fine.

Comments: Overall this is a excellent case. With the door closed, it looks really sleek and sophisticated, but at the identical time unrevealing. It gives off an aura of mystery to precisely what lies inside, which I like. It does not give away that it is just a Computer, but it could also quickly home a smaller server, dependent on your demands. I have only one minor gripe, and that is they should incorporate at least a single front fan. Other than that, the case is an great buy, and will suit your needs either as a energy user, or a low-finish fileserver.

Properly Built, High Excellent, Straightforward to operate on, no sharp edges, Fantastic Power Supply. The only case I will acquire. Internal drive bays at the bottom of the case don't have adequate space amongst them for appropriate cooling of todays high RPM high heat drives (even fluid bearing). Energy button protrusion makes it a bit sensitive to pets hitting it on the way by with front door open. This case is the only case I will purchase. I have built quite a few machines with these situations over the past couple years and I haven't had any powersupply difficulties. The earlier versions of the case had less dependable hinges but the new versions have held up properly. I choose to take away the door anyway.

Properly constructed case. The removable HD cages make drive installation easy. Lots of space. This case is bigger that it looks. Nice, basic and conservative styling. Yes, the front door is flimsy, but I've only opened it twice. I constructed a little file server with this case operating 24ǝ. I installed a 4th tough drive in the second 3.five bay above the floppy drive, added 1 intake fan and the case runs just above ambient temperature. It is reasonably quiet, even with the added fan. No troubles right after about six weeks of continuous operation. I own two other circumstances from this corporation (TU-163's) and am incredibly pleased with the design , construction and value.

This is a excellent conservative searching case. It has plenty of space for all the components that an enthusiast would like. It would have gotten an excellent score but the simple packaging was not sufficent to guard the case from UPS. The case came in with three cracket posts and a single of the drive cages was smashed in. I was able to bend it back into shape and super glue most of the cracked plastic pieces. New egg ought to double box this unit prior to shipping it out in the future.

Robust case... Clear side panel. nice looking case. Energy Provide unit is not negative it operates good mine came with a 500 watt ps. The energy provide wires are a little low cost meaning they don't appear good with the side panel. The door screw maintaining falling and the door would just hang. I put the screw back on about 5 instances. Immediately after a although I just removed the door. The case has quite poor air style. only three 80mm fans fit. I would not by this case again!! Get a an Antec case... or one thing with a superior air design bear in mind a hot method can drag your pc.

I like the side vent for the cpu fan. Came with screws that I required. The ease of placing in the cd and dvd-rom drive was good. The legs that hold the front of the case together are very weak. My prior case opened the very same way this one particular does, but on the very first time opening the front of this situation two of the pegs broke off. The other problem I had was with the default faceplate for the ports on the back, it didn't fit correct, luckily I was able to take the 1 out of my old case. The other point that sucks, is the door to the USB ports on the front not wanting to close all the time. Also the case isn't has sturdy as I hoped it would be. Its supposed to be a steel situation, but is still rather flimsy when handling it. I wish Newegg would ship by way of Fed-Ex or a person apart from UPS. I had initially ordered this case back in December, as I was hoping to get my computer fixed up for my parents, but UPS broke the situation, the front of it came off for the duration of transfer (though it wasn't packaged quite properly). I then had to ship my old 1 back and wait for everything to get processed and then finally yesterday I got this 1. Nevertheless UPS has broken other items I've received via them as well.

I just completed a make for my Mom, making use of this case w/Abit KV8 pro I had in my left-overs box.Utilizing a Chaintech FX5200 VID and am quite pleased with the rig. The power supply appears to be a lot more than enough, as extended as your not attempting to run a high power vid card. As for the situation itself, it has the looks a lot pricier instances. This is the one particular, if your seeking for a good searching, low price, build. The air flow in this situation is, in my opinion, poorly developed. I am a massive fan of laminar air flow, bringing air into the situation near the disk drives and exiting the case at the best / rear. The left side pannel on this case is complete of venting holes, that disrupt what would be the ideal flow for a situation. I did a workaround by taping more than all of the vents on the side pannel, on the inside surface, 1st with a high good quality electrical tape, then covered with a foil tape of the kind applied on air conditioning vents. The air flow is now identical to what you would uncover in situations such as the Antec P160, a lot considerably superior!! I like this situation. Yes the door is a little shakey, and the air flow could be better, out of the box, but all and all, it's the most bang for the buck of any case I've observed.

Quite sturdy. Layout works nicely, except for the HDD cage. Absolutely nothing flashy about it. Lots of places for fans. Energy Supply not up to my needs. And the bottom HDD cage... can't use, due to the fact there is no room to route the SATA cable to my P5B MB & SATA energy cable to the PS. It's a good low-important situation. If you're seeking for a case to rice out, this likely isn't the 1. I'm applied to purchasing cheap (as in funds) situations, but due to the fact I necessary a power supply with a lot more watts, may well as nicely appear at finding the Antec Sonata III instead and essentially save some money.

if you require an affordable situation that has good airflow and lots of space and dont care about bling element this case is for you. i have employed two of these situations and not a single issue from either of them, the psu's are even pretty excellent for the value of this situation! might be as well bland for some folks but this is hardly a con. this case is sturdy for the low value, some men and women may well believe it is cheaply built but i consider otherwise.
