APEX TU150 Black Computer Case
Comment:
This case is nearly best for professional workplace use. The front of the case locks. It is a critical seeking monolith when total. The steel is heavy duty. I would have to actually try to dent this case. Each sides and the best can all be removed - less difficult construct. These are minor factors thinking about the price: The power supply doesn't have a monitoring wire to plug into the mobo, so you won't be watching the PS-fan rpms, huge deal. There is no manual, just a couple xeroxed pieces of paper, but manuals are for sissys right?! CD/DVD installation is so ridiculously uncomplicated that you won't assume you are undertaking it appropriate: put a single screw in 1 of the holes on the side of the CD/DVD, slide it in to the case - "Click" - carried out. Be cautious, the foot sticks up into the case just sufficient to touch the mobo (don't be concerned its plastic) and I accidentally had the mobo sitting proper on the edge of it and didn't recognize it- this triggered the mobo to flex as I tightened the screws, then all of a sudden I heard this horrifying "snap" as it popped down past the foot. No harm its fine! But it could be a hazard - you will very easily keep away from this now that I warned you.

Comments: Just got this case a couple days ago since of the very good price tag and no cost shipping. Very nice case the paint is actually good and durable. It wont scratch as uncomplicated as most instances and has a clean dark black color. The door on the front works best and looks really excellent. This is the best case for an individual who has the computer in their room and doesnt want neon lights lighting up the entire space.

Comments: Still say it's good, but I had to cut a 1.5-inch hole in the leading to prevent heat build-up that would reach 70C at the level of the second processor. This <font>d</font>ropped the temps back to the 30's and 40's. P4 boards shouldn't have very as noticeable a dilemma as the cover has an intake that lines up with the processor. One more thing to keep in mind is that this 1 runs at 100% for hours on finish.Newegg rocks - and no mailing lists just makes it better.

Comment:
Good sturdy case with a nicely believed out layout. The case also has a decent quantity of air flow for the value. Case came dented in the corner from Newegg, not a large problem since this isn't being observed by everyone except me in a server room. What Newegg doesn't tell you, there are two spots in the front for 2 80mm fans which you need to look into purchasing considering that two difficult drives sit on top of each and every other. Luckily the machine built with this case is kept in a server room which is often kept at 65 deg's at all times.

Comment:
A decent case when compared to more affordable quality alternatives. Case and power provide are great for simple computer builds. The case layout is dated as it does not make use of bigger 120mm fans which can be produced to run quieter. The power supply is not of the highest top quality but neither are most power supplies included with instances.

I just built a personal computer utilizing this case, and it's not a bad case at all. The smaller door on the front to access the USB though the massive door is closed is a excellent feature. Plain and basic case, would function for plenty of motherboards. Interesting "easy install" for CD drives. The "easy install" for CD drives is kind of a pain to use with out instructions, you literally need to appear inside to see how it functions. Just put the screws into the side of the CD-Rom, and then slide it in location. That simple! But it didn't clarify that anyplace in my "manual" Nice case, in particular for 1 with a energy supply for the price. Not too flashy, but very functional!

Comments: I ordered this case to rebuild a PC for my boss, but wish that I was making a new one for me immediately after operating with it. It is incredibly Very nice to see a manufacturer label which stand off points are to be used for which kind of mother board (AT, ATX and mini ATX). The internals are roomy enough to be in a position to plug in all of the drives and such that a individual could want and the energy supply isn't almost as loud as the heatsink fan that I installed ( coolermaster Areo 7 Lite) when turn up to full speed..or even half speed. The ease of installing drives was good compaired to most circumstances I've worked with and took no time at all. Any person considering this case ought to be content with the acquire of it, the construct excellent/price is tough to beat.

Comments: This is a excellent case. Good solid constructions. assembly of elements was extremely effortless (drive bays, etc.) Only difficulty you might come across is if you employed the additional drive bays at the bottom of the case (assuming you went over 3 challenging drives) you may possibly have problems when using a full size Mobo. Door has a magnetic latch, so no unnecessary swinging when unlocked. came with Allied 400W PS, which functions fine if you are not going to overclock. i ran it with XP2800+, radeon 9800, 16x dvd burner, floppy, SATA drive, 1 case fan. no energy complications whatsoever.

Very pleasantly surprised. It has run flawlessly. Components went in quickly. Adore the door to preserve out small prying hands. I normally acquire Antec but this was a good deal. I'd obtain it once more. None that I can think of. Can't say enough great things about this business.

Sturdy properly created case. Was a nice surprise for the cost i paid for it. Lots of drive space and lots of room in general make it incredibly simple to install everything. Nearly tempted to replace the case on my main pc with one of these! Can't truly think of any cons. Only bad thing is i didn't locate this case when i built my key PC and ended up paying three occasions as a lot for a case that is no greater than this 1.

Comment:
Sturdy construction all about. I was quite impressed when I took it out of the book and handled it.The door appears solid. I was a little apprehensive immediately after ordering it. I am not a fan of doors, but I was suprised. Closes securely, though the hinges pivot exactly where they connect with each the chassis and the door itself, so open it sags a little. I'd say it can withstand a three-year old's attention, which I am confident some of you will appriciate.A lot of venting holes.Cables for front panel, pc speaker and PSU are nicely positioned and laid out for me.CPU fan vent truly fit perfectly, even with my huge heat-sink.Quick install lock for optical drives is nice, also incredibly stable. Quick release cage is convienient.Power supply is sufficient for my transplant of older parts. Steady so far.For the cost, it's a win-win scenario The mesh was a small bent (Handing by me I imagine) but I will knock it back into shape when I have time. The lights and buttons feel a small cheap, but when the case is closed they are not visable anyway.Energy supply appears a small loud compared to my previous 1.No headphone/microphone on the front which I could have used (My fault for not reading the specs effectively ;-))To initially install the optical drives you have to get rid of the entire front of the case. It's a basic approach and as soon as you know how to do it, it merely pulls off. It's just that while you are sitting there for the initial time figuring it out, you have an uneasy feeling you'll break something. But the whole factor is pretty simple and risk no cost.Only 1 rear fan, I doubt quite a few individuals will use the case for heavy function. Mainly bought this due to my old power supply failing and wanted a spring clean anyway. Genuinely good. I realise this is based on a stock chassis the firm can generate different configurations from, but it's sturdy and nicely constructed. Coming from a far more expensive case, I feel I really prefer this one for lay out and really feel. Also, on the chassis, there are essentially eight holes to screw in two 80mm fans in front of the HDD cages, though in this case configuration, the 4 in the center of the case are covered on the front by the power/usb. Still, I added two fans (Each held in with two screws) and they run quietly (I am confident they are not terribly successful, but I really feel a little superior that they are in there :-))Neat cabling, nothing too fancy but does the job wonderfully. I very recommend it.

Comments: Received case inside 5 days in Hobbs, NM. Noticed some users say the door is flimsy, not to poor. LoL, door isnt made to swing on, keeps my 1yr old daughter from pushing the buttons. Easy to install mobo and everything else, lots of room. Quite sharp looking.

Comments: I have owned this case for about a year an a half. It's pretty decent if you're searching for something low-cost that has a powersupply. However, the two bottom-most difficult drive trays I believe are a flaw in its style . They have 4 dimples that put pressure on the top of the difficult drive which I believe causes failure. I've gone through two brand new drives under warranty, and I'm awaiting the subsequent. I recommend mounting in the FDD cage to stay away from pressure to the drives.

Comments: Roomy mid-tower with a good 400w power supply! It's not as loud as some men and women have mentioned, and it looks truly good (especially the door to hide my beige drives)I'm extremely grateful for NewEgg and FedEx. My case arrived two days earlier than expected! And not a scratch or dent on it. This is the second factor I've ordered from NewEgg, and I will continue or order from them.

Removable tough drive bracket, speedy release optical drive mounting, lots of room, incredibly sturdy, thumb screws, top quality energy supply, smooth edges. Somewhat low cost front cover, although mine is nonetheless not broken following two years. Front cover doesn't remain closed unless you lock it - i fixed this with a piece of velcro the day i bought it. I have had this case for 2 years, and it still looks newer than the case i got yesterday. The top quality is excellent. I couldn't ask for a lot more for the cost.

The case is dead straightforward to use, everything is where it ought to be and there are no sharp edges. Its just "right". Power supply is only okay, I'd have preferred to be able to get it without so I could install a actually nice supply, but this will do. I don't like the contemporary black with every thing, I rather liked beige, non light sucking. Not too keen on the front door and lock, can only see that lasting as lengthy as I can come across a way to take it off without having wreckage:) Good case, runs cool, built effectively.

Good cooling, very good power, very good inside space.I have had far more than 10 of these. All working right now. Reaplaced a couple of power supplies in the final 6 years, but so what! :) Like others have said, the bottom two drive bays are close together. If you want to use more than three hard drives, install a fan in front of the bottom two drive bays!

Comments: This case is a steal at this cost. A actual pleasure to function on. The 120mm fan is nice and quiet with space for two 80mm fans in the lower front. Both three.five" cages are removable giving lots of elbow room to install parts. The power source has two fans - one on the bottom to aid carry heat up and away from processor. Only complaints are the front door hinges are really cheap giving the entire door a kind of unnerving flex and there is the occassional sharp edge inside. I'd certainly get this case once more except I might look for a model sans door.

Used to construct a program for a friend to play WoW. Power supply did it's job, case is easy on the eyes. Door is a small silly in my opinion, but doesn't cause any issues. Such as the power supply which is working perfectly for the job at hand (playing WoW), the cost seemed truly excellent.

I had to force it. Even though there were a few problems, I am enjoying the case. It has a excellent balance of aesthetics and function, and I recommend this case.

Comments: Fantastic case, fantastic PSU. Like the front locking door. I'm employing mine for a security camera server, so the security of the case itself is nice. I managed to uncover a really sharp edge somewhere around the 3 1ǘ" bays, it really took a piece of the tip of my thumb off... I'm not complaining, thought, as it's all in a day's work. The fan duct in the side panel is nice, as are the optional cooling fan mounts in the front (in front of two challenging drive bays). The instructions on how to eliminate the front panel say correct in them that you have to get rid of two screws initial, and documentation is overall superb. Most instances just leave you to figure items out on your own. The hardware package is a lot more than sufficient. I like the drive "rails" and removable three 1ǘ" carriers. Outstanding DEAL! my case arrived with NO defects, in a regular case shipping box...
