Cons:loud

Pros:Solid Buildcools efficiently

Picked up one of these for my daughters budget build.Cools decently - but sure can be loud on high rpms.Next time definitely be going with a 120mm+ fan setup.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons:Mounting bracket is huge

Pros:QuietEffective
Comment:
I bought this to keep a pair of Xeon 1366 processors cool on an Asus Z8PE-D18 board. The fans are not exactly cheap, but they keep the system cool and they're pretty quiet. The only issue I had was getting the mounting brack (the big black pastic piece) to fit onto the board in one of the CPU slots. I ended up grinding down two corners of the bracket so that it would fit next to the RAM slot. Not a big deal, but kind of a pain. The additional metal bracket is also gigantic. It comes fairly close to the nearest stick of RAM.

Cons:None as of yet.

Pros:Keeping it cool.
Comment:
Installed this cooler on my AMD 925 quad core and noticed a major change in cooling. It was an easy install and fit well on my ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 motherboard. Good job Artic.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons:Not much better than stock cooling

Pros:Cheap, easy to install
Comment:
Got one of these for free off a friend when building a second system, I was disappointed to find it only lowered my temps about 2 - 3 Celcius on each core. Not very useful for overclocking. For anyone who plans to overclock I recommend spending a little extra to get something better.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: Should be a great product but when I got mine, the fan was broken. Might be just a lemon.

Pros: Very good reviews and very affordable.
Comment:
I have been using the original Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 in my older system for a long time and when I started building my new system, this one was on top of my list. Unfortunately, when I got the package, the fan on the heatsink was broken and I have to RMA it and have to pay to ship it back for refund.

Cons: A bit bigger than I thought, pretty cramped in my setup.

Pros: Low temp all the time

Anyway hands down, the best and cheapest fan you can find. My system is always 35-40 degrees and maybe around 45 in game.Perfect heatsink

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: A little hard to install

Pros: Better cooling than stock cooler
Comment:
MArried this up with a new AMD quad core and it runs very cool. If you are buying to replace your existing cooler you might have to take out the video card to get your fingers in there to attach it to the motherboard. Over all very satisfied.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: - looks like when one installed the plastic bracket, it is more difficult to release the cpu from the socket without removing the bracket. It is minor in this case since I don't intend to change cpus. If so, you can pull the push pin to release the bracket.- Not sure if the fan will be a problem in the future and if so, whether one can a get a replacement fan than will fit nicely.

Pros: - can install the cooler without taking the motherboard out of the case.- can easily be installed- much more secure than Intel cooler
Comment:
I bought this to replace an Intel cooler on oneof my machine. Originally I wanted to get anotherCoolermaster Hyper 212 Plus Direct Touch but it wouldprobably would not fit in the case because of its height.Saw the installation video of the Arctic Cooling Freezer7 Pro REV.2http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKWh24l5-tQand bought one since it was also on sale.Overall I am quite please. Didn't look at the manualsince I saw the video. I had originally overclock withthe intel cooler so I expect this to perform better butI haven't tested it yet.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: when the rpms rev up, you do notice.it is light, but the lack of a backplate kind of worries me if i am moving my case around alot.

Pros: Really really really easy to install.I personally liked the excess amount of thermal paste pre-applied, so i know that my cpu is covered. Light weight, keeps temps down, cheap and quiet if the rpm is low
Comment:
I like this cooler, it is far better than the intel stock cooler on my i5 760. It does have a few issues, but for the price, i can't complain.

Cons: 92mm fan :p

Pros: quietcool92mm fan ( not to big )price
Comment:
you get what you pay for. but for the price, you get something pretty good quality-price. ( in sale it's more than pretty good ) i have this heatsink on my amd phenom II x4 965 BE and it stays cool. ( not OC ) if you buy a cpu that doesn't come with an heatsink and your case's not that big, this may be the best choice. for the price you'll have something that works.

Pros: Very quiet fanEasy to installDecent cooling for it's price
Comment:
Bought this to replace my dying stock fan and so far I am quite happy with this product. Idle temp for my not OC'ed E8400 s 3ghz at around 25c and well under 40c when loaded.Good stuff for $22 dollars. (my purchase price)

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: -None

Pros: -Same great HSF as its predecessor-Silent, powerful, easy to install-Better mounting than the REV1
Comment:
I installed this on a Core i7 930 overclocked to 3.15GHz on a Gigabyte X58 UDR3. Temperatures stay cool and the fan is dead silent even under load. This'll be great for running CPU-heavy games such as GTA IV with decent overclocks.

Pros: Quiet Keeps Things Cool
Comment:
For the price, this is a very good cooler. My room is pretty warm and it keeps my CPU nice a cool. I usually idle around 25C on my Intel E6750.I haven't tried OC'ing yet, so I don't know how it would preform under those circumstances!

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: Maybe a bit big, it blocked out one of my ram slots so I'll never be able to put in four chips.

Pros: Quiet, cool, and does what a heatsink is supposed to do well.
Comment:
Overall, it does what I need it to do with minimal noise and heat. The installing was a bit hard, but with a bit of tinkering, I finally got it in. The fact that it blocks a ram slot is kind of inconvenient though.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: Had thermal paste already on the surface and not covered with anything.

Pros: Great cooler. Quiet.
Comment:
The only annoying thing was me not paying attention and setting the surface with the thermal paste onto the plastic. I had some extra paste, but I wasn't expecting it to be on there uncovered. Otherwise it works great. Nice and quiet, which is good since it's installed in a pvr box in the living room.

Cons: for the price? not much

Pros: Cheap, Effective, fit both Intel & AMD
Comment:
People wrote that it is some what tricky to install, but when I install my i5 530 on Gigabyte H57 motherboard, install was quick and easy.(Compare to my previous samurai cooler) TEMP was below 40 degree. I am very happy with this purchase.

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: not that straightforward installation for AMD motherboardpre-applied thermal paste may be a bit thick.

Pros: quiet fanmx-2 thermal paste, 2nd best on market
Comment:
It took me a couple of tries to get this heatsink on properly, and that includes pulling the heatsink off the cpu and putting it back on a few times. Of course there would be air-bubbles created in that case. Before screwing on the nuts tightly, the fan doesn't look like its very secure, but when tightened, this is of no concern. At first, I didn't have an air inflow fan on the case; the heatsink fan would run at about 2k RPM, with CPU being about 35-39C (ambient temperature being about 29C, my room is hot). When I did set one a fan to blow onto the motherboard, average CPU temperature dropped to 31-35C throughout the day, still about 1.9k-2.2k RPM.I am using an athlon 2x 240 (2.8ghz), not overclocked.

Cons: might get a little loud at max speed

Pros: Quiet at low speed, kinda efficient
Comment:
I'm currently using two of these on a dual cpu motherboard and it works fine. It gets a little loud when the fan is pushed at max speed and the cooling is avg (35c idle). It's cheap though and might be the easiest cooler to install... thx AC

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: -Finicky installation, with small parts/screws-Fan guard overhangs ram slots on some boards

Pros: -Price(19.99 weekly sale)-Quiet-Walks all over stock cooler
Comment:
Easily cools a Core i3 530 running at 3.8ghz using the stockpre-applied compound, with capacity to spare and doing so quietly. No need for massive, high priced coolers here and at only $20! Mounting is a touch tedious,(not major on LGA1156) with small parts one tends to lose over time and can't find when you switch to a different socket, but can easily overlook for this capability-quality-price!

ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler
Cons: None

Pros: I got a 21c temperature reading when idle and 45c when running prime95 with my AMD Phenom II x4 925 OC'ed to 3.4 GHZ and 1.4v. For best cooling make sure that the fan on this cooler is facing towards the video card if you have an exhaust fan on the top of the case. Other than that I would recommend this cooler for overclockers using 95w CPU's.If you aren't overclocking then this is perfect for those intel core i7's or that AMD Phenom II x4 955 or 965.
