Great reliability, performance, solid chipset from asus all about. Im now thinking operating two of these negative boys. For the cost this monster runs good fps under linux debian. Seriously properly under windows. My fault but just a side not if your running an intel motherboard DO NOT buy an ATI GC. Some reason my i7 920 and asus p6x58d deluxe mother board seems to restrict this cards possible severly properly atleast beneath windows. Beneath linux it opens up massively. Advise this card as a great worth for efficiency set on any amd based mother boards. If your running intel I would bite the bullet and go nvidia chipsets rather. I wish i had a 6core and rather of an ifail7

This + Phenom II X4 965 Black + 4gb ram is running Star Craft 2 on all ultra settings with no any hassle or difficulty what so ever. Like it. Also running Bioshock two, ME2, and L4D2 quite smoothly. Card was a little tall and the tooless style of my case had really a bit of trouble locking into location. With some umph got it secured,... I'm assuming its an concern with the case, not the card. Looking to crossfire it soon ^_^

Quiet, smaller card them most other cards in the identical efficiency range, concerns with fresh install of Windows 7 64bit, runs quite cool, only needs one power connector (hate the ones with two - ex: my 4890 and 4870, adds to clutter and disrupts airflow) No real flaws, that I have found. Runs games slightly far better than my 4890񳻶, and takes up less space which is usually a plus. I mainly run MMO titles at 100% max settings, no studder, no troubles. Starcraft two at max with ease. Final Fantasy 14 Benchmark score of 4305 at high settings.Specs:AMD Phenom II x6 1055T (overclocked at three.4ghz)MB: MSI 890FXA-GD70Ram: Corsair XMS3 4GB (Unganged)Sound: Sound Blaster AudigyHDD: OCZ Vetrx two - 60GB (OS and games) 1TB Samsung Spinpoint

Clocks incredibly high. Properly over 1000+ MHz clock on my card : Memory @ 5200 MHzPlays all games max out with 4x AA with AMD Athlon ii x4 635 @ 3800 MHz noise : maintain the card and 50-60% fan speed, auto fan speed gets genuinely loud. Tight fit in mid tower case. You will need to have go airflow in your case to preserve this baby cool.

Very best card out there basically. Its cool, its fairly, it plays any game at max settings you throw at it. Even crysis with FULL 8X AA. Who knows what it could do if you Crossfire two of them. For 赀, pretty significantly the very best budget card out there like all ASUS/ATI products. With the voltage tweak and OC support, it simply competes with the GTX 400 series.Whats also great is that it supports VGA. So no will need to acquire an adapter fundamentally. You have to do ALOT of investigation with voltage tweak if you want to OC it safely and correctly. It can even get up to 80 degree's if you more than do the voltage tweek and screw up the screen partly. So be warned. Also, I bought this card at a nearby electronics store. So the value I payed was บ additional. But it's still worth it. If you didnt read, you Need to have a 6 pin power connector for the card its-self. Im not using its full pci-e 2.1 energy, as im only using 2..When I OC properly, the card seems to freeze and crash games I play and throw at it. I ought to be failing at it.

Easy to install and get up and running. Fits effectively in a mid-tower case. The 5770 is a good bang for the buck card, and as usual, Newegg goes above and beyond to serve their clients when items go incorrect. Unfortunately, things do go wrong occasionally. Out of the box at stock speeds, this thing ran 10c-20c hotter than my 480GTX. The 5770 is supposed to be a cool operating card, and this model is advertised at running 11% cooler. Nonetheless at idle, this card was in between 42c - 47c and in between 94c - 100c below load. There are other evaluations on Newegg and other locations on the web that report the similar problems. Quite a few men and women have reported that the heat sink is really poorly tooled on some of these. Bottom line is this: You may well or may possibly not get a faulty heat sink/cooler when you order this product. Lots of folks do not. But why would you take a chance (like me) when there are other 5770 options to pick from that don't have this concern? This is the initially Asus (branded) product that I have ever purchased that I haven't been satisfied with.

The card, when it was operating well worked good in new games and the like. The card began failing, within 6 months. two RMAs later, and the card nonetheless is artifacting and causes driver VPU recoveries when playing uncomplicated flash movies. It was a decent card. The RMA approach isn't that poor either. It's clearly just a "going through the motions" as whatever they're testing for RMA returns is not adequate to figure out complications.

When it runs (which isn't generally) it looks fairly impressive thinking of I was operating an x1950pro before this. VPU Recover constantly pops up when launching games and they frequently crash soon after operating for five minutes or less. This results in lock ups and blue screens requiring a challenging reset. Occasionally on windows startup the card is still listed as installed, even so it acts as if running a windows generic driver. When this occurs dxdiag reports that there is no direct3d acceleration accessible. I have made positive to have all the latest drivers, bios, etc. on my computer. When dxdiag does report a direct3d device all tests fail showing a garbled image rather than the dx logo.I also get BSODs often when switching monitors.I received this on Tuesday March 2nd and it's now the 4th and I've already had all of these complications. This is my 1st ASUS card and will most likely be my last. I did obtain an open box version so I am type of kicking myself for that. Nevertheless it was factory refurbished and I noticed they (open box) went out of stock and then back in stock once again a day later. So it would seem a lot of these cards are becoming sent back to ASUS. I would undoubtedly go with a unique manufacturer for this card.

Great card! Ran supcom1 on maximum settings with six other comps for an hour and no lag. Had one debugging error, not certain if related to card. Operating max settings with six other comps was just a test to see how it would manage it. Will try once again to see if error comes back. Was debating among this and ATI 4870 but decided to go with this since its upgraded with directx 11. Just planning for the future. I installed the driver off the disk and had difficulties with game installation and laptop or computer restarting. Uninstalled it and downloaded newest version 10.6 and have had no issues with it. A minor set back that was frustrating but not sufficient to bring the score down. GET THIS CARD! I was impressed with the performance enhance I got from this card compared to my 5670. Battlefield Poor Corporation 2 runs so smooth on max settings and 4x AA @ 1680x1050. No more lowering the resolution for this man! I opted for this card rather of a GTS 450 considering that it's AA efficiency is apparently a lot superior. The fan is also quite quiet. This was literally plug and play- the drivers are for the whole 5000 series. Asus rocks! I saw really small performance boost in Assassin's Creed 2. It's beyond me why. This is the only game that I've tried that hasn't been like a night and day distinction. The Radeon 5750, GTS 450 and Radeon 5770 all price precisely the identical give or take 5 bucks. I bought this card last spring and I adore it. Its run every single game ive thrown at it on high settings just fine. temps aren't poor either; with clean case fan filters it runs at a maximum of 66ºC. and with dirty fan filters the heatsink screams and the temp creeps up to a toasty 71ºC. If you play older DX 9 games this card is wonderful. Tf2 runs among 180 and 300 FPS. L4D2, and portal both run maxed as nicely. Crysis and Crysis two run effectively without having AA and that quite considerably goes for all new games with this card. all the games i run such as crysis 2 have been at 1920x1080 resolution. with AA enabled on newer games this card begins to fall down. if your a serious gamer who wants to destroy every new game on max settings with AA enabled. this is not the card for you. if your seeking for a good performing card for the casual game here and there. this is a excellent card.

Great value card. Fast! Runs all my games (BFBC2, Dragon Age, Mass Impact 2) at full settings no problem. Pair it up with an i7 and a hefty bit of RAM and it screams. The coil whine is obnoxious when I can hear it. It's in particular evident in the course of synthetic tests, such as GLXGears.AMD's official driver support for Linux is hit-or-miss. I'm thinking about obtaining yet another for the Crossfire.

Excellent perf, excellent price. I have a pair of these in a CrossFire config on an Asus Rampage III Gene. 1 of the cards does not cool effectively in a crossfire config simply because 1 card blocks the fan input of the second. The card with the blocked fan runs about 20deg C hotter than the other ahead of the machine locks challenging. Every card works fine without having overheating when run in a single card config.

I really loved this card to begin with. Each and every game I play runs at ultra settings. I get 60+ fps in each game. Right after about a month, perhaps 40 days, I began finding constant blue screens. Drivers crashing, tough locks. You name it, it happened. Here I am 20 DAYS later, nonetheless no fix. It has to be my video card. I get difficult locks in games that makes my screen scramble colors and I get a buzzing sound from the audio.Have I tried to RMA? Yup! Did I get a response from Asus? NOPE! I sent in a request over a week ago and no response whatsoever. Truly makes me regret ever purchasing an asus item. I most likely won't ever once more either. Seeing as other products that I've owned, like gigabyte and sapphire, have never ever failed on me. That or I will just switch to nvidia. Don't acquire this card. It may well work great for about a month. But anticipate it to start out crashing continuously after that. Go get the MSI version or another edition of an ati card.

Not poor at all, installed it in P35 mobo and E3110 ʃ.6GHz,ran 3dmark 06 and scored 15k. Can't complain at all.Played Battleforge completely maxed and lastly no far more stutter as opposed to my old trusty 8800gt that btw scored 11300 on 06. Didn't anticipate that considerably of the difference at all. Following MIR it's not a bad deal at all. Game on! Loud at begin up, not exactly earth shaking though they appear to scale very nicely in xfire so could add one more 1 later and swap mobo with other P45 based one.

Runs all the games I own on the highest settings. By no means gets above 55C even following hours of gaming. I strategy on Xfiring considering that the efficiency gaines xfiring a 5770 are much higher than most models from ATI or Nvidia but nonetheless affordable. I had to update the drivers from ATI since the voltage running this card would fluxuate greatly causing unstable and random blue/gray/brown bar colored screens. Following updating the drivers from the ATI website this card has ran flawlessly. This card is beast, all the games are stunning and run without having framing. I cant wait to xfire this baby.

Superior price/performance ratio. Earns a 7.four on Windows encounter. Nothing considerable. A little on the massive side. Extends over SATA connections 1 - 3 on the Mobo, but I had correct angle SATA cables, so that wasn't a dilemma. Straight cables would not have worked. Not compatible with ATI Hybrid Crossfire on my Mobo. I need to have performed much more investigation. On-board graphics of Asus M4A88-T scored four.7, so it was a big lift to upgrade to the 5770 card. Not a significant gamer, so this is all the firepower I'm likely to need to have.

An excellent performer. I've had it for about 4 months, and there haven't been any difficulties with the card. I use MSI Afterburner to over/under-clock the card Ɠdǘd) to get just a bit more out of it. Overclocked to 899 MHz core and 1353 MHz memory clock. Didnt mess with the core significantly. It's a modest overclock, and the temps are fine (about 75 C 100% load on Crysis two) in a poorly ventilated case. It could run it at max every little thing at 50-ish fps 񡾀-1024). Not poor at all.... Essentially just CCC. Not very stable, or beneficial. I got it on sale for about 120 bills, and it was a steal. For 145, I'd say it's a powerful contender. I also play Two Worlds II 񢈀-1080) max details with hardly a hitch. Oblivion at very same rez with max details is also the same, with 60+ indoors/dungeons, and about 45 low outdoors when seeking fairly far into the distance with some action in the foreground.I would suggest that everyone searching for a solid video card strongly think about this card. If it's on sale for บ+, I think you really should get yours before it's gone.

Cheep, reliable, a lot of bang for your buck, PCI Express 2.1 so very good for future builds, incredible knowledgeable Asus tech support, runs fairly cool, fairly thin for a 5770. There is a software program bug that causes to video drivers to crash well playing games for some people today witch is not Asus's fault. (read Other thoughts for fast straightforward fix) If you are experiencing random video driver crashes well playing games it is simple to fix all you need to have to do is,1: Go into the Catalyst Control Center witch must come with the ATI drivers.two: Click the drop down menu in the best left hand corner and navigate to the "ATI Overdrive" section then you must see a small key or lock symbol click that so that the memory and GPU clock sliders are unlocked then click Apply and that's it.

Runs smooth on Ultra settings for SC2 and for HD videos. Performance wise it is excellent. Receives random errors causing games and movies to lag out and give only a black screen for 30-40 seconds. Also I regularly get essential errors with grey/black or green/gray lines that causes my laptop or computer to restart. Soon after doing some research people appear to think its the software and their isn't any kind of update so far so it sucks. Looks cool.
