ASUS GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) ENGT430/DI/1GD3(LP) Video Card
Comment:
Windows 7 Knowledge Index rating jumped from five. with the motherboard supplied video to 6.6 with this video card. Even with the fan is very really. Initially installed the driver employing the supplied disk. Then, updated drivers downloaded from the ASUS site. Have to wait 8 to 10 weeks for the ASUS rebate. Hopefully, will essentially obtain. Even if I do obtain the rebate it is a dreaded debit card rather of a check. Rebates ought to be banned. Just lower the price rather.

ASUS GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) ENGT430/DI/1GD3(LP) Video Card
Comment:
Excellent price, very good fan design Absolutely nothing not already covered in other critiques I utilised this card to replace the OEM card on my Gateway desktop (which was also an Nvidia-based card)... the driver on the OEM card was continuously crashing, and I was obtaining genuinely poor playback of YouTube videos and other video content material.I have been attempting to give this card a workout, leaving the iTunes visualizer on when when the monitor is off, and so far no driver difficulties. In truth, the iTunes visualizer appears considerably much more responsive and in sync with the music than before. I use this personal computer solely as a media center for the living space... no gaming or other video-intensive applications, so I take no position on that. But this card has worked flawlessly with iTunes, Windows Media Center (Windows 7 64-bit), and on-line video (YouTube via each Chrome and Firefox).

Comment:
Necessary a 2nd Ethernet for my micro-ATX motherboard. This card was reasonably priced. None. A number of critiques recommend that Intel does a better job at LAN efficiency than integrated Ethernet cards. Haven't run sufficient of my own tests to know whether or not that is accurate for my program.

Low Pro, Low power, Quiet. I purchased this card to increase my gaming alternatives on my Acer AX3400 htpc. What a distinction! I'm not a hardcore gamer and purchased this card understanding it won't preserve up with greater cards. So far it runs Assassins creed, grid, and Battlefield bad corporation turned all the way up high settings 1920x1080, without breaking a sweat. Not bad for a PC the size of a PS3! Great card for people who need low profile/low power. can't make sandwiches My specs:Acer AX3400 220W PSUAthlon II X3 2.9ghz4gb DDR3 1333

ASUS GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) ENGT430/DI/1GD3(LP) Video Card
Comment:
This card will naturally beat any on-board graphics any MB will supply in color, depth, clarity and speed. Windows 7 graphics ratings will enhance drastically (mine went from three.5 to over 6.2). 1GB of memory for this kind of income is quite impressive. For the funds spent, I think I've far exceeded expectations for my micro-ATX board build I just put together. I can now consider this a gaming PC with the upgrade this card supplied. Solid construction is nice as properly. Keeping every little thing in perspective, I can't believe of one. I might just have to upgrade my XFX 9800GT on my main PC with this card. Thanks newegg!

ASUS GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) ENGT430/DI/1GD3(LP) Video Card
Comment:
Fantastic DVD playback, fantastic accelerated flash playback, fits a HDTV screen, Great adaptability via the drivers, wonderful heatsink and fan on this version. Ideal of all, this card really works with Linux with out the driver configuration nightmares you'd get with AMD cards can't genuinely play games, unless they are seriously, truly old or Flash based the Radeon I had would leave enormous black bars around the picture and not use most of the screen, even though it was set at 1080p. This card fits the screen properly, but it also able to adapt for overscan on other screens, if required. AMD defaults to maximum overscan, and won't enable adjustment. This thing basically works with Linux, too. If you're running a Linux HTPC or server with GPGPU capabilities, get this card. If you want a gaming machine, don't use this card.

Purchased for an HTPC build, streaming DVDs and Bluray rips to a 50" plasma TV.Card was easy to install - latest drivers can be obtained from the nVidia website. Again, easy to install. The card runs quiet and seems well built. Display is perfect on a 50" plasma TV at max. resolution (50PX950). No complaints so far.

Comment:
Employed to upgrade my brothers laptop or computer from a 256mb 8600gt. Doubled performance for him for nice and affordable. WoW and LoL play great now. Can handle 30 fps on 1600x900 on ultra settings, turn off shadows and a few issues and it gets a steady 40-50 fps Not the powerhouse of the low end like the 5670 but mine only price me ์ Gets a bit hot but not truly close to overheating. This in a case with precisely 1 100mm fan.
