Best Motherboard I ever bought
Comment:
I've been installing motherboards since 1992 and I must admit that this motherboard tops the list in terms of construction, quality, and performance. Absolutely smooth and seamless performer. Already bought the 2nd one for another upgrade and will upgrade another 3 PC in the next month with this board.

Good for a first timer too
Comment:
Don't be over whelmed with a lot fo the tech reviews, I used this for my first build. If you add anything to the board you have to re auto tune to over clock. VS other P55 boards there is room to grow. You need a mid ATX case. As stated earlier the directions are OK, there is a cap over 4 of the 8-pin power connecter. I used 4 and no POST, took me a while to realize that was the issue.

Fine, easy to install motherboard.
Comment:
Full featured, easy to install motherboard. I use mine for audio and video editing and recording so need both USB and Firewire connectivity. Installed with Windows 7 and surprise, all my hardware and interfaces work!! I'm getting a good, clean signal to the hard drive with little in the way of artifacts. I'm using i5 processor and it is fast enough to keep rendering times down.

Good MoBo
Comment:
This board has a nice layout and is very easy to build on. Clear labels and a decent manual. This board lives up to what I have come to expect from Asus. I would buy again.

ASUS P7P55D PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Price ( should be a bit cheaper.. I got it for 150$ during sale)

Pros:LooksEasy and quick set upFeatures
Comment:
Have owned it for 3 weeks now, everything running smooth with an I5. No problems yet, was easily able to enable intel X.M.P in the Bios so my ram could run at its proper settings (slightly over clocked it would seem..) .

Very happy
Comment:
Had this motherboard running for a about three weeks now with an Intel I5-750, Windows 7 64bit. All is working great. Overclock utility worked automatically, and system is very stable. The only complaint is that it comes with no SLI BRIDGE. I got one from Ebay 120mm, $5.00 with free shipping. So I guess that its not the bad.

Excellent overall motherboard, very happy
Comment:
Easy motherboard to install. Fit perfectly in my Antec 900 case and fired up on the first try. BIOS is very nice to manipulate. Auto-Tuning feature to safely overclock is great, didn't even need to manually overclock anything besides RAM. The auto-update is great to update the BIOS via online so I don't need to use floppies anymore. The Q-connector thing mentioned in the below review was great for hooking up the LED, PWR, and RST cabled. This motherboard has plenty of room if you want to upgrade to SLI or add more PCI components. I have the i5-750 and I'm extremely happy with this setup, as a gamer, and as a power user.

Very Happy
Comment:
First time build and I'm very happy with the results. This board is easy to understand and fits very nicely in a mid-tower case. Combined with the i5, this board is smokin' fast. The Q-connect thing really made hooking up the LEDs, Start, and Reset wires easy. Cool feature. If you have an 8-pin power supply lead for the second power input, REMOVE that cap that's blocking the 4 pins and use your 8-pin plug. Allegedly, that cap is only there as a guide for people without an 8-pin plug available. Would have been nice if that were in the directions. If you only have 2 DIMMS of RAM, put them in the BLUE DIMM slots (that is in the directions).

Great Cheap board
Comment:
Very easy to overclock. Very good price. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the more expensive boards have. It's just stuff you're never going to use. I just wish they would include SLI and Crossfire cables.

ASUS P7P55D PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:None

Pros:Very stylishPlenty of SATA and USB portsEverything is spaced out nicely making it very easy to work with
Comment:
Not much that I can say aside that it's a very easy to work with motherboard that gives a generous amount of space between all of the slots. I have nothing bad to say in regards to this product, it came as advertised.

Amazing motherboard
Comment:
This is the first motherboard I have purchased. It was extraordinarily easy to get setup. The only issue I had was between my lack of experience, and the motherboard not mentioning the necessity of standoff screws(which I lost amongst my dozens of computer parts I purchased), it took me about a week and some serious internet searching to get fixed, but it was a lack of inexperience really. Awesome motherboard, quick startup, great features. Love it!

no sli-bridge or crossfire
Comment:
my board didn't come with a sli-bridge, I asked where i can get one and asus replied that the video card comes with it, I never have got an sli-bridge with a video card, it always came with the motherboard, because it is made to fit the motherboard, I will not be buying asus products anymore

ASUS P7P55D PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:finding a stable overclock configuration in the bios can be a bit of work.

Pros:good board layout, sli and crossfire, lots of sata and usb
Comment:
As always with asus motherboards it works great, great board layout as the giant noctua hsf with 2 120 mm fans is not blocking any ram slots or anything else important, also the vieo card is not blocking anything.

ASUS P7P55D PRO ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Manual lacks troubleshooting guideNo SLI bridge

Pros:Attractive designWorks WellWell spaced out PCI-E slots
Comment:
This board works quite, as usual for Asus motherboards from my experience, and is certainly one of the more attractive looking motherboards that I've seen come out of late. I'm dinging it a star though for a manual that lacks any sort of troubleshooting guide (I sure could have used one on this last build, but it had nothing to do with the motherboard in the end); and for being an SLI capable motherboard that does not come with an SLI bridge.
