ASUS Radeon HD 6850 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:Fan is quite noisy. It becomes very noisy if at > 50% fan speedThe HD 6870 went on sale for the same amount the next week (not it's fault though =) )Mail in rebates suck
Pros:Best card in this price rangeGreat performanceGreat scaling (add another for efficient CrossFire)Keeps cool (especially compared to my HD 4870) Comment:
This is a great card; it can play all the latest games just fine. ATI has the best value right now. I think I'll go Nvidia next time if it's a close competition because of the better support for games (HD series has problems with Crysis 2, etc.) This card performs very good with CrossFire also. |

ASUS Radeon HD 6850 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:
Uses two 6-pin connectors.
Pros: Great performance/$ card. Got it for $170-$20MIR Comment:
Check out http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html for benchmarks and not the price range of the cards that have similar performance. This card will not lose in bang for your buck. |

ASUS Radeon HD 6850 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:
Very loud fan once you get to 50% speed. Sounds like a jet turbine. Default fan controller doesn't seem to kick in on it's own and I have had drops to desktop due to heat so I had to set my fan to 45% continuous.
Pros: Able to handle intense graphics with little trouble on my M4A89TD motherboard. My heaviest graphics program is Empire Total War and I am able to play on Ultra settings easily. Comment:
Bought this card to replace my X1950 Pro since it struggled with ETW. This card preforms like a champ taking on my most intense programs with little trouble. Just wish the CC software, which this card uses for fan control, worked better. Haven't tried OC yet, I normally leave everything at stock.**the ASUS rebate is a joke, you send them the documentation they want and they say it is not correct** |

ASUS Radeon HD 6850 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:
not the most powerful card out there
Pros: quietonly requires 1 6-pin powerhigh performance/cost ratiogreat crossfire scaling Comment:
- Upgraded from a 9600 gso to this card, this 6850 is very quiet comparing to the 9600 gso.- satisfied with the performance considering I got this card for only $150- overclocked to 860/1160 mhz with stock voltage! Did not even bother overclocking it any further as it handled dragon age II at very high settings with 4 x AA and 4 x AF |

ASUS Radeon HD 6850 EAH6850 DC/2DIS/1GD5/V2 Video Card with Eyefinity
Cons:
a bit long
Pros: runs quietruns coolpowerful Comment:
bought it to replace my 9800GT from bfg (yes the bankrupted company. turns out that this card runs 20 degrees lower than my old 9800Gt, which ran at an average of 60 degrees Celsius. runs quiet, and very powerful. ran dead space 2 and black ops on highest settings with no problem. good card overall. |
As of May 2011, I found this to best the best bang for the buck mid range card you can buy. After having one for a couple of weeks, I loved it some much that I ordered a second one to put them in Crossfire! DirectX 11 support is there and it's 1GB of DDR5, you can't go wrong with this card!
