ASUS USB-N13 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter
Cons:
none
Pros: up to date driver for W7, vistagood signal Comment:
Originally I bought a PCI-E wireless adapter but all it could see was 1 lousy network and not even mine, even though it had 3 antennas, POS.So return that and get this instead plus a USB extension cable. The cable allows me to move the adapter away from the computer and monitor where all the interference from devices and wires. It comes with driver for Win7 64/86 and vista 64/86 and Xp and connects in no time. The signal is strong enough considering the router is on different floor. |

ASUS USB-N13 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter

Pros: - Plug&Play- Wireless N- Pure 300Mbps speeds Comment:
I wanted to replace my internal ASUS adapter that is built into my motherboard because it if Wireless G. I am very pleased with this as it is very easy to install into Windows 7 64-bit. All I did was plug it in and connect! I have tried many Wireless N adapters as well as routers and found that there would only be a maximum of 270Mbps which is normal to have. However, I purchased a new D-Link DIR-655 Wireless N router and wanted to pair this with it as it is a very good price for a Wireless N adapter. I have never ever seen this occur with any pair of Wireless router or adapter......my speed is giving a full 300Mbps which is impressive. It actually is giving the speed it should be, which normally they do not. All in all, I highly recommend this! |

ASUS USB-N13 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter
Cons:
None so far.
Pros: Good rangePrice (after Price match)Works seamlessly with Win7 Comment:
I'm using Win7 and this adapter works with it effortlessly.Alot of the wireless USB adapters I tried didn't work with them even though they said they did. Although they might have the driver if they aren't registered drivers with Microsoft then they aren't going to work with Win7. Of course I could disable that feature in Win7 everytime I booted the machine so the driver would work but what a head ache that would be! Getting an adapter which registered drivers was much easier! So it works with ease with Win7. I also have a Linux machine but haven't tested it out on it. I've also tested it on XP machines and it works also.I've tested it in the IT school I attend which has a wireless connection. The building has concrete walls so I wanted to test the range in there and it picks up the signal strong no problem. |

ASUS USB-N13 USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter
Cons:
Signal strength not as good as some new internal wireless cards.
Pros: Works most of the time. Comment:
I bought this to replace the intel 2200bg wireless card in my older laptop. The 2200bg has major connection problems with linksys routers and poor range. This little thing fixed most of the issues. Maybe because I live inside a metal cage, signal strength for wireless devices is poor. The box says this device has a range of something like 500ft, but in my case only 30ft or so. |
Asus makes great products and this wireless adapter has been less painful to install than many DLink products I have tried. Driver installation is easy and the device is well built. Only downside is that the range is a little short but I heard its rectified with a usb extension cable. Wireless G and N, so it's pretty good.
