It's huge, it's 1080p HD, it's large, it has three inputs, it's massive, and for the cost it feels excellent...did I mention its massive the only issue I have is that my computer can't manage the 1080p resolution on bfbc2, but thats just me, not a con for the monitor, juz my difficulty I want to thank newegg for promoting this beautiful monitor for a great price, ups for deliverying it in four days(it was the weekend), my mom for pushing me out, oh, and of course asus for creating such a wonderful monitor, a enormous lovely monitor.

Bright screen, easy to install, HDMI, contains speakers. Speakers are trash but have identified them handy for night time Tv watching (when 7.1 will wake up the family). The config menu is genuinely awkward. Applied graphics card color correction as an alternative. Cons are totally outweighed by the pros. This monitor is significant and vibrant. The color depth is outstanding. Just obtain it.

Excellent picture, great price tag 1 of the causes I bought this with HDMI was so that I could hook up my Xbox to it. The only factor I'm wondering is if there is no way to get audio OUT. This monitor would be perfect if I could just get the sound out to my surround. Is there now way this can be accomplished? Other than the audio situation, this monitor is brilliant.

Really superior seeking moniter. Not a single dead pixel. I havent attempted the speakers however as i have surround sound for my Computer, but the picture is astounding. The power cord doesnt remain in the back of the moniter very superior. It doesnt seriously come out... Just demands to be pushed up in there each after in awhile

This monitor is frankly astounding. It just came it currently and correct out of the box the image was breathtaking. The screen's vibrant enough that I truly had to turn down the default settings a bit. This points huge and colorful sufficient that I'm pretty significantly just abandoning my tv. Much better but, not a single dead pixel anywhere on it. No dead pixels, really like that has DVI and HDMI plugs, have my desktop in DVI and the Xbox in the HDMI. Have also plugged in the laptop by the VGA, and it looks good as well. Fantastic size for the cost. No dead pixels. Many inputs. Built in speakers. Matte finish reduces glare. Sleeps when no input is detected. Volume control is in the menus and requires 8 button presses to get to, only really an issue if using this monitor as a direct connect for a game console; nevertheless this is simply resolved by adjusting the master volume of the game through the console. The speakers have been given poor testimonials but they are adequate for most computing/gaming wants. Slight hum created when lowering the brightness below 88, but only noticeable in a quiet atmosphere.

The buttons and menus could be simpler to use and navigate but its not an issue simply because you will likely rarely use them. The orange power button does stand out a bit against the nice black frame but once more, its not an issue. I nonetheless don't understand why manufactuers supply a DVI and VGA cable in the box but no HDMI.

Quite very good display. Didn't have to make any adjustments after setup. This is my 1st LCD from the Asus. I have employed their motherboards, burners for years and have located them to be a really reliable brand. 1 dead red pixel - hardly noticeable if you don't appear too tough. Glossy finish...wish Asus could have models w/ flat blacklike some of the Acer brand. Bought this as an open box item. All the contents had been included - Thanks Newgg. Wasn't arranging to buy an Asus, but the cost was a bargain. The speaker is common. My youngsters makes use of gaming speakers/sub woofers anyway as all parents know by now. 23" what else can you say Menu is a little odd, you can turn down the volume by pressing the volume down button but to turn it back up you need to have to go into the menu but its not that troublesome When i got it out of the box my 1st thought was Dang, This is Massive! I didnt consider that it was going to be that huge but this monitor rapidly replaced my dual monitor setup true swift

Fantastic looking, speakers are decent, HDMI A dead pixel in the best left corner when I plug in my Xbox, it doesn't show up when I plug it into my Personal computer. I have no concept if it's either the cable, monitor, or Xbox. I would rate this as five eggs, but the dead pixel truly made me decrease it to 4 eggs.

Good monitor for the value. Would be a 5 star evaluation if not for the con below... Rebate center processing is awful. When I purchased this monitor in December 2010 a ฟ rebate was supplied. Following waiting just about three months devoid of a word or update from ASUS I decided to check status on my own. I identified my rebate was declined for "- Signed Rebate Form is missing- Copy of Receipt/Invoice or Packing List is missing- Original UPC/Serial Quantity Barcode Label is missing- No proof of purchase- Barcode label is missing- Reseller is not eligible for this supply- No proof of purchase date in documentation". This is full nonsense, they are essentially saying I didn't send in or sign any paperwork. I double checked myself and also had my wife verify that all paperwork was in the envelope prior to mailing out. I've bought a couple of other ASUS items with rebates and did not have troubles obtaining the rebate debit card.The reality that the rebate center lied about my paperwork seriously aggravates me as I am meticulous when it comes to rebates. I know that numerous companies use processing centers for rebates and the like, so can't fully blame ASUS for this. Even so rebate centers in part represent the company that employs them and this is a blemish on the ASUS brand. I was a minute away from obtaining a Eee laptop when I decided to examine my rebate status, I'm glad it did. This will be the final ASUS item I buy, rebate or no.

Good monitor and capabilities for the price point it's at. Like reviewers ahead of have stated, the volume controls could use a little perform. The volume down operates okay like it really should, but you have to go into the menu just to turn the volume up. I won't deduct an egg for it, due to the fact I don't use the built in speakers and most other persons won't, but if you intend to use the built-ins beware. Newegg got it to me quickly.

Gorgeous image, several inputs, high res, sleek appear. One of the units doubles as both an extended desktop monitor and a Television. I have it hooked up to a dvr via the hdmi connection. The only downside, the volume manage is challenging to manage. If this item came with a remote to manage the input and volume control it'd be excellent.

Bright whites, Sharp Blacks, really clear image, rapid response time The energy button cover is orange and rather ugly, but minor in the grand scheme of things did a BUNCH of analysis, and it was between this monitor and a Samsung. There was a MIR promo, so i got this 1... Quite glad i did! Purchased this monitor to compliment my Acer 22''. In no way realized how bad my Acer looked until this screen was subsequent to it. The picture is insanely sharp! Cant comment on the speaker as i dont have them hooked up. i imagine they sound brutal, fork out 50$ and get a set of logitechs.

Clarity. Size. Value. Look. No dead/stuck pixels. Thick frame. Speakers, of course. LED lighting would be good in this grade of monitor. General, tough to beat this deal. Is perfect for someone who wants to hook up a console or cable box to their monitor for occasional light use of either. As a monitor, this thing is quite smooth and bright all the way across. I have mine on like 40% brightness and it still appears too bright at instances.

wonderful picture, no blur at all. NOT 1 dead pixel! Speakers are weak... (but who buys a monitor for its speakers?) If I had the cash I definately would purchase 2 a lot more proper now.

Excellent! It's got good display, got mine with no dead pixels.Colorful and bright. Only factor I didn't like is that for some purpose this display has some screen tearing on some games.I've seen the worst on Black Ops and TF2.Works fine with SC2 and WoW.(All games at max/ultra settings.)Operating on 2x gtx460 1gb gigabyte SLI set-up I force v-sync both in game and on nvidia's control panel, but still see some screen tearing...i had to limit my fps down to 45 in Black ops and TF2 to makme it playable (even limiting it to 50 wasnt adequate)

Wonderful price, super rapidly shipping, superb good quality. Buttons on the front are somewhat tricky to use, specifically in low-light conditions. Right after a ton of analysis I settled on this monitor. Man, all I can say is that I am glad I did. Excellent item. Great resolution, great value, heck the speakers aren't even half negative. I purchased this monitor along with a few other ASUS goods and I am very satisfied with the general quality. I would suggest this monitor to buddies and loved ones.
