This is a great monitor for the price. I shopped around a while until I found this one. The price and size both appealed to me. I was not disappointed once I set this thing up. The picture is great and I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a larger screen.

I bought 2 of these units for a dual screen setup with my new comp, and out of the box they are great. Also have a PS3 set up on the hdmi port and resolution and clarity is as you would expect from a 24 inch monitor. As others have already said however, these need some fine tuning as out of the box they are extremely bright. However, I firmly believe that the manufacturer makes quality products and will continue to buy their products in the future.

Monitor came in on time as promised. will need fine tuning and adjustments, because it is too bright, so you would need to calibrate it. hopefully you have another monitor and your card supports dual monitor. DVI works great, but using HDMI there is banding at 1920 by 1080 resolution, but not if i go to one lower, 1700 by 1000. Contacted tech support, but their answer so far did not make me happy. Stand is also flimsy and there is not enough tilt, so i had to pad it with items. menu is awful, very none-friendly. Overall, I expected a lot more from Asus.

Initial impression: great deal for excellent monitor. No dead pixels, color is good. Ordered it Tuesday at 7pm, it was at my door THE NEXT MORNING (Wednesday) at 11:42am. Unbelievable. Recommended!

After a week I have to say , for the money this monitor is hard to beat! Though it still doesn't have quite the depth of black my old CRT had, the other features and ease of use far outweigh the minimal negatives. I could have saved another ten bucks if I had waited (I paid $199 clear), still a great mmonitor at a great price!

This monitor works extremely well, has very clear pictures, my particular model didn't have any pixel distortion or problems of any sort. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good price on a solid monitor.

Have placed one in a business environment with no problems whatsoever. This a great buy for the money. Sure, you can get more but for more money as well. How much performance do you want?!? I'm running 3D CAD and the speed, refresh rate, and color rendering are excellent. I love this monitor for the money!

For peter on jan 2010, he needs to find the right resolution setting. It is possible it is one obscure setting but it will square things up better than the usual 1280 by 1024. Mine is 1680 by 1050. No problems with my monitor at all.

Received in factory carton, packaged very well. Product sealed with protective wrapping plastic - so no decals and glue to contend with. This was purchased to reduce desktop clutter. A Zotac, bolted to the back VESA with a short HDMI cable and the included speakers in the Asus monitor will make a neat and compact pakage. I am very pleased with this Asus monitor and This site.

The monitor does everything as advertised and does it well. I opened the box, plugged it in and was up and running. No stuck pixals, no problems. For the price it would be hard to beat. Tiger's service is outstanding! I ordered this Saturday night (UPS ground shipping) and it arrived tuesday morning. Kudos!

I have owned it for a month now and it is incredible. The picture is awesome, and the size is great for having two windows to view at the same time. If I ever need another monitor, I will buy this one and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase one.

This is a very clear monitor when hooked up to the DVI input. Just got it for Christmas, with the new computer I built and it works great. The speakers leave a little to be desired so I use my Boston Acoustics digital speakers instead for the main machine, hence the 4 stars for quality. My old P4 Ubuntu computer is hooked up to the VGA port and the built-in speakers and works well switching monitor modes depending on which computer I am using.

I love this monitor, it has a crisp clear picture for gaming, movies, webtv. I do like that it has all three connection types as I do receive some older PC's to fix I sometimes need a vga connection. This was such a great price for such a high quality monitor I bought 3 more.

Crisp, clear, vibrant, and not a single dead pixel. Only had it for 2 weeks, but thus far no problems at all. I've seen better pictures than this, but not for this price!

I love this monitor so much I bought 2 in the last year. Works great and the display is super clear. When you compare monitors, make sure to check the Contrast AND dynamic contrast. This is also a 1080p monitor.

I bought this screen and received it with a red stuck pixel, I tried everything to get it to work without success. It is right in the middle of the screen, so not happy with this product.

got it try it work fine but after few days appear a yellow line from the bottom to the top at left of the monitor. This line appear occasionnally, have contacted by email Asus, never received an answer back from their customer service dept.

I was a little worried about the orange strip above the power button but it isn't very noticable. This monitor looks very nice and works nice. I wish I would have bought two.

I bought this monitor on sale with free shipping a very good deal. It worked great right out of the box. Setup was easy with no dead pixels and very good picture quality, I'm satisfied. As for cons, if you are expecting great sound quality you won't get it here. it's passable but you best have a seperate sound system. The orange on off switch is not a problem as it is very suttle in real life.
