moves a LOT of air. keeps your nonsense cool. super cool. superb fan... did someone start out vacuuming? no, thats my personal computer turning on. --i have to turn up the sound program a little bit additional than normal to alter the fan from getting the primary event into ambiance. hearing it whir away whenever i use my laptop or computer has turn out to be annoying. sorry, had to take off 1 egg because this fan is just too loud. wonderful if you're running a server for superior air flow. terrible if you want to use it in an entertainment technique(PC). Retain IN Thoughts- mine is most likely non quit noisy since i often run it at maximum speed.ten% speed should be a lot for silence and great air flow from what ive tested.but considering that my computer is primarily a server thats not an alternative for me.(gets as well hot)

Superb! quiet for its CFM rating! Operates excellent as a processor heatsink fan! None Good fan. Runs a lot quieter than other 80mm fans in similar CFM rating. I Very Recommend THIS. I am at present employing this with a thermaltake heatsink ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106068 ). Functions excellent, is maintaining my OC'd am2 5600+ at 38idleኋload

Moves a LOT of air, fits standard 80mm fan mounts completely, comes with three pin connector and 4 pin adapter. You can definitely hear it operating but its not genuinely that loud. Sounds like a mini jet engine in my case, maybe like a vacuum cleaner running a couple of rooms away, but this is a tiny price to spend for the quantity of air this factor moves. My general program temperature went down by ӱ-6°C right after I installed this fan. The noise is not loud sufficient to be distracting and after the initial startup you don't even notice it, and the increased airflow in the case keeps every thing cool and comfy.

MOVES AIR. My computer system will not overheat with this tiny guy running at complete speed, and that's excellent simply because my 8800 GPU gets a tad warm. It's got your airflow path arrow and rotation arrow to make installation simple. The cable is extended sufficient to reach to the other side of my mobo to get my final fan connector (and it comes with a 4pin connector just in case). Fantastic fan. It is loud. I don't personally care mainly because when I'm on my personal computer, I have surround sound pumping also so it drowns it out, and I like a tiny steady noise when I sleep. But those of you who are searching for a quiet setup, this fan is not for you. It was also a discomfort to thread the screws which I don't think I know any individual who enjoys executing that in the first spot. But I stripped the screws that came with it trying by hand, went and grabbed the power drill and pushed right in without a dilemma. The further perform aside, this fan does its job, and does it effectively. And for that it receives a five.

A lot of RPM's. Does specifically what I purchased it for, bring lots of cool air into the case. Far superior to the low cost sleeve fans that came with my case. Cons? - None so far, it's a fan. Purchased three of these for air intake. When I powered up I thought the case was going to levitate off the table. Spinning @ four grand, they make alot of noise, as expected. A uncomplicated potentiometer (fan controller) will manage the noise level, somewhat, and let you to put the juice to them when you need it.

It certainly cools, no doubt about it! Pulls as substantially air as my vaccum cleaner and sounds like it! bought this fan to replace the air duct on my door, cpu temps typical about four to 6 degrees cooler when im gaming, so it works good! double ball bearing so you know it will last! Can't truly mark off for the sound! It does say 45 decibels in the specs. Good fan if you are severe about cooling! Bought a rosewill 80mm fan grill and filter , took a few decibels off. Newegg always appears to have what i require!

Does the job, moves far more air than the original fan on the cpu heatsink, and cooling although it isn't an issue (yet) the housing appears significantly versatile Yes, it's noisy, but i don't hear anything out of the tower from this fan itself, it's the 92mm pushing roughly the exact same cfm out the back of the tower ࿜cfm). with this fan, a TR2-M12 heat sink, and some good quality heat sink compound, i'm at present keeping a 3.0E prescott at reasonable temps.

Replaced my cpu heatsink fan with this a single. attached it & replaced the heatsink with some arctic silver five, dropped my cpu idle 10C only raises 4C now beneath total load. May possibly be a tiny loud, don't seriously notice given that it's insde the case (I have three slower 80mm situation fans two cooling, 1 exhaust). Fastest 80mm you can locate, much quiter than a 60mm that pushes the identical cfm.

These fans do move air. A lot of it. Excellent for cooling a situation that can only take 80mm fans. They are loud. I even though I could take it, but right after 7 months with them it got to me. They seriously are load, but the 45.6 dBA should have told you that. :)

Lots of air flow.. quite well built Extremely loud!!! i would recommend putting the fan on a connector, that you can manually handle.. im operating this fan at 1% (through process bios settings), and it nevertheless blows a lot more air than my other fans.. you can still hear it quiet well, but its quite do able, as far as noise level.. comes..

- No obnoxious lights is a big plus- It's truly not that loud. I would be able to deal with it just fine if I gamed. Fans in the early 90's were undoubtedly louder IIRC.- Moves lots of air. Functions good as a CPU fan.- Comes with fan pin > molex converter which I located a really good addition. None! For the Tech Information selection, I don't know how you can have a high understanding of case fans.I'm working with this in a server Computer that stays on 24ǝ. The CPU fan on my heatsink died and was causing difficulties, and it was annoying to attempt and sleep with all the various blue LED's shining everywhere. This fan does the job incredibly nicely. It moves pretty much as significantly air as the Vantec, and it's cheaper and quieter.

Well, it made my case good and cool. LOUD! I can't even describe how loud. Whenever I took my pc to LAN parties my friends covered it up with blankets or sweaters to maintain it quiet. It was like a factory or a jet engine (in reality it inspired my personal computer name to be changed to Factory). Replaced it with the original Cooler Master that came with my case. If you can stand the noise or have a fan manage, then it's a excellent fan. Otherwise, get one thing quieter or persons will quit inviting you to LANs.

simply great & cost-efficient. high CFM for a 80mm fan. As a matter of fact, it blows also considerably air. If you are seeking for a 80mm fan for use for CPU cooler &/or case fan, this is it. none. I purchased a coolermaster heatsink & fan which blows air up/down rather of left/right [standing ATX case]; I did that bring about the DIMM sockets are subsequent to cpu socket. I replaced the fan that came w/the coolermaster heatsink w/ this aerocool fan. I'm ordering a PCI slot fan controller dial because this fan operates nearly too very good. Some of the air is blowing back out from about the fan, so I'm going to slow it down just a tad.

These are very good fans, put out really a bit of air for an 80mm, they are quieter than some I've heard that push this sort of airflow, but louder than other individuals. Had these in my system for 6 months since i bought them, and the method is in no way off, they're nonetheless operating just as great as new. Noisy (but that's some thing I knew purchasing them)

The fan moves an extraordinary amount of air, I have two in my case plus a 120mm exhaust in the rear. I could not believe how considerably air these fans pushed out. I held it up to me and the air came out so rapid and so tricky I thought I moved. It is loud, like everyone else says. I personally am employed to it, I have a 20inch box fan that is normally on, plus the Tv. Its not terribly loud, but in quiet room, you will hear it. I bought two, came a day early, they look great and function well. I believe my MB temps dropped about 5F and my CPU in fact dropped two-3F as well.
