It's best for storing little items like screws which can usually come handy wherever you are like at a Lan party. I have a ton of screws for my computer and I have way to quite a few laying about and the tiny tray inside provided the best location to shop my screws. I also place my flash drives in it! When I got it the spring locking mechanism didn't operate but thats not worth taking an egg off of it.

Just a tad also little to hold a midget. It's black, my case is black, great match. You open the door and don't know it's there under the DVD drive. Absolutely stealth, you'd by no means know it was a drawer from the appear of it. Fantastic use of added unused 5.25" drive bays. The spring loaded opening mechanism is cool and works fantastic. Big drawer can hold a slim CD jewel case. Fairly excellent excellent for the value. They go back rather far, so it could hit the edge of your motherboard based on your situation. Has to be meticulously lined up when you install it to make positive the drawer pops open and locks close with out interference. I dunno what these other guys are talking about. They slid right in the front of my situation and fit ideal. Take a couple seconds to adjust the alignment of your optical drive though you install them. A bit of care with fit and finish and these ought to function fine.

Cool mod. If I was poor, I would hide bad issues in there. Really discrete. Wish it had smoother rails or ball bearings or a thing to help in opening. But for such a low value what do you anticipate?

I had NO difficulty installing my optical drive into my server chassis with both tool-less brackets in beneath a minute, but this factor will only install with one particular, *or else it would squeeze the affordable plastic frame to the point where it wouldn't let the spring perform due to pressure on the rails...- Holes in the incorrect location. Installs just like any cdrom drive.. Pops out with a spring loaded catch. Screws straight into plastic housing. There are only two holes on each and every side so you may not be able to use far more than 1 screw per side on some cases with out drilling into the sides.. I like the small tray inside for memory cards. Would be nice if there were a lot more screw points on the sides. I modded the 1 I had devoid of any troubles

fit nicely. looks wonderful in my HAF 932. fits flush. performs wonderful so far. im uncomplicated on my stuff so Im expecting it to final awhile none as of nowadays. if any troubles arise i will leave a different assessment explaining details

The storage box is wonderful. It is a good deal for the cost and comes totally assembled. Ideal fit for nearly anything you'd want to retailer in/aroudn your computer system. Might not fit some long handled tools but great for all those pesky screws and such. This small factor can be a total pain in the *cough* to install. I have a big case (Raidmax Dirk-tooth) and nonetheless a pain. It is a small longer than a typical cd/dvd drive. The most important issue I had was obtaining it to fit width-sensible. I truly had to eliminate the drawer which its not actually meant to do to install. It also won't constantly align effectively with the lower space. So...if you have a plate, drive or a portion of the case straight below it the drawer may well rub a tiny. Due to the fact the front is molded straight into the bottom of the tray you can't simply shave this excess off. Don't get me wrong. I in no way regret getting this tiny gem. The inner tray that it comes with is also nice. Nothing will fall into your situation from this as the drawer is really well fitted to it. I program to obtain a lot of more of these for yet another few computers and a couple for my server. No complications with the drawer becoming weak. You have to recall they are giving you tons of space for how significantly it actually requires up. It will also appear to be rather flimsy but soon after the little forcing I did have to do, which I was Extremely rough when, it appears to be rather effectively constructed.

Looks like blank panel.Worked with my toolless installation brackets on my coolermaster ATX case (the modest a single for ุish) I didnt quite recognize what the hidden panel inside this hidden compartment was till I received the product. It is a tray, that fits inside yet slides on leading of the interior lining. So you can slide it to the back, but it comes to the front when you close it (does not impeded closing).This brings two thoughts. Either this is a bonus if you like the comfort, that it slides the interior tray towards you, but a negative, if you want to show an individual your secret situation to prove it is ok, but not let them see the secret secret,, if you catch my drift. If you strategy on showing this to noone,, than it is a bonus. That signifies that this is a bonus for me, Mom!Also, the device itself, doesnt spring out considerably, so i kind of have to grab about the edges to open, but is not significantly work, and i dont mind,, although an additional 1ǘ cm i would have no issues. 11.99 is Ū much more than this is worth.

These are teriffic boxes... I've gojt 4 in my case in addition to the two DVD drives... It's so handy to have tools, spare cords, screws, and so forth. The spring system to open it kind of fails if there's some thing with any weight to it in there, like a screwdriver... Other than that, np These are good additions to the customized situation... They blend appropriate in with blank bays, and are wonderful if you don't want any person to know you're hiding anything... ;)

Fantastic idea! If you're generally upgrading, or changing issues around, it a great spot to retain screws and such. I hold all my mini, micro USB cables and SD cards in it. It matches best with the finish of the Cooler Master HAF 932 circumstances' front bezel. It's low-cost! When I put this issue in, I didn't realize it at the time, but it pushed the SATA cable off 1 of my ODD. All I had to do is trim the back end of the prime plastic and it worked fine. If you don't have a 90 degree SATA cable then you won't have to be concerned about it. This is a wonderful addition to any situation that has an unused drive bay!

Permits you to use some of the additional space in your case. Handy place to put USB drives and memory card readers. The faceplate is metal and the rest of the thing is plastic. Wish it was the other way around. The assembly feels "cheap", like the drawer may well fall out or anything. The prime slot in my tooless situation didn't line up properly and squeezed the drawer assembly to the point it wouldn't perform anymore. I moved it down a slot and it works fine. The metal faceplate is blacker than the plastic covers utilised on my case, so it does stand out. It doesn't stand out as significantly as when I was employing a beige DVD drive with this black case even though, so I can live with it.

Great space inside the tray itself. Fits a tiny frame pistol extremely effectively. Has a slow weak spring to push out the container. Placing it in can be a small tricky, due to the fact the plastic housing seems a little wide and gets caught easy. I place two in and it they tend to get in each and every other's way without having some sanding. Would be a lot much better if the situation panels could be utilized for the face of the storage trays.

Wish I had purchased two or 3 for the drive bays I dont use. It would be sweet if the produced a double din for deeper storage of device cables. Possibly the do.

No handles so you get maximum space. Push-in to release. Good cost. Not "flush" with front, and if installed properly my case door won't close, so I had to force it back a bit and hold it there as I screw.ed it in, but it's still not even with the front panel, and my door pushes it in so it opens as I open my situation door, which could be convenient I guess.

Functions as described, basic install, the small tray was great for grabbing all my tiny flash drives in a single swoop. Wish it was deeper, wish the edges were additional rigid as its fundamentally all plastic and Im not sure how extended the screw will hold it in place. its a good small location to hide your "stash".

It 's nice and usable point. It delivers adequate space for my mini USB/USB/Ipod etc wires. Because I have a small apartment but big situation I purchased even two storage boxes. And now my staff I could not flush the boxes flush with situation front panel. they cling to case and each and every other. So I pulled them small bit out shipping cost is as well high for that little point
