Cool tiny item to maintain your modest stuff in. Keeps my thumbdrive, mp3 player, USB cable, and other small items out of the way. It matches my case perfectly and nevertheless nobody knows it's a storage drawer and not just a slot cover. None that deserve an egg to be deducted. Took a tiny fanagling to fit the slot in my case and get it mounted, but for 5 minutes of hassle I'm content with it. Also, the tray that it comes with sometimes gets stuck if it's laying sideways, so I put it in longways and solved that challenge. Would certainly purchase once again for a future create

I wish much more merchandise like this were on the industry. It's a drawer; I haven't had any issues with it sticking, while like most plastic tray drawers in anything it can get jammed if it's as well full. I'm storing some extra screws, SATA cables, spare earbuds, and so on in there and it works wonderful for all that. Could use a better space management method. It includes an insert tray, but it just rests on the edges of the drawer and can slide around or fall out effortlessly. I do a lot of LAN gaming and I generally utilised to forget earphones. My case, a Rosewill, came with a neat interior plastic 'toolbox' insert, but leaving it in blocked airflow. This works just as nicely and doesn't get in the way of any fans -- although it required some tricky re-positioning of an internal USB connection that ended up requiring an extension. It is a small bulkier than any of my 'real' five.25 drives.

Simple installation, decent quality material. Might not fit well on all instances. The spring on mine was pretty weak, and I really have to make an effort to get the drawer to pop out.Also, the drawer itself is a bit longer than most optical drives by an inch or so. If your case is cramped, this may well be an issue. Whether or not it works properly in your case or not, it's not considerably of a gamble at บ. May possibly as properly get it and see.

Does what it's supposed to do, door is made of metal, looks nice in my HAF 912. Only the front door is produced of metal, the rest is plastic. Can't seriously complain, seriously fits the bill for what i wanted it to do.

I assume it does what it says, it is a storage device, and iw ill admit it took a bit to get in my case once it was in and flush it worked flawlessly. I have nothing actually heavy in it but it goes in and out and clicks into place like it mustI have the antec 300 and like i stated it took some wiggling to get into the case but it does fit. its plastic and the face is metal, need to have just made the whole thing out of the exact same metal. none great item to put one particular of the unused bay's at use

Sweet little case, perfect as an inconspicuous storage compartment. Type of small for what I had hoped to put in it, but the dimensions of the five.25" bay are really what restrict it. Not genuinely a con, I just forgot to measure the stuff I wanted to put in -.- Nobody knows it's there when they look at my personal computer. This is in all probability my favorite portion.

Great design, no space lost to handles or finger grips like others of the type. the back is open just enough that factors can fall out (to the inside of the personal computer) if you are transporting the machine and it's obtaining jostled about. Definitely enjoy it, preserve a small screwdriver, some spare screws, keys for hot swap bays, card adapters, and cable adapters inside, makes finding them considerably easier.I would advocate this for every construct.

Plastic casing is more flexible that it almost certainly need to be. I can't tighten the mounting screws down all the way without preventing the operation of the drawer. This issue may possibly not exist if the computer case is really rigid. Comes with four screws. Tighten them up and then test the drawer among each screw.

Its a actually excellent idea Kind of pricey for mainly plastic. We all know why we would want this factor, however it looks kind of apparent when installed. I decided to gut an old DVD-ROM drive, put the front cover of the DVD-ROM drive back onto the metal casing, as nicely as replaced the back. A lot of space. Great location to shop driver disks/backups/launch codes/swiss bank account numbers. None to speak of. All instances need to come with these in lieu of blanks. A motor driven - password protected opening feature would be good.

This is what it is. Works good. Fits CDs perfectly and the little trays that fit in them are very good for sd cards and little electronics sort screwdrivers. Spring loaded in contrast to the other ones for sale. Aligning the drawers to the front of your case take a little more effort than other five.25 items. When you tightenthe screws they tend to move the drawer out of alignment. It is ideal to tighten them all most of the way, re-align the drawer and attempt to tighten the screws an even amount. They way it installs (at least for tooled instances) is by four screws. yes screws and not bolt form threading. These screws operate by gripping the plastic as there are no metal threads. In other words, be cautious not to over tighten and strip the plastic. I got mine actually tight with no difficulties but I really feel caution should still be taken.

This is a drawer created to fit in a five.25" slot on your pc case, and that was precisely what I'd wanted it to be. I would imagine that most people have 1 or two spare slots for an optical drive and/or front panel, and this is a excellent way to make use of the extra slots. No cheesy knob or manage or style so it need to blend appropriate in with your black computer case.Mine is holding a couple CD markers, spare SD cards, USB cables, and other computer-related thingers that would otherwise get lost on my desk. Fantastic for storing little items, like warrenty cards, screws, and that tube of thermal paste that will in no way be all employed. Faceplate is a small loose. Feels a small affordable. But hey, it is low cost.

I put this in my daughters case and she loves it. It's a great spot to put her USB flash drives and SD memory chips that she applied to misplace. It didn't fit flush so I removed the two forward screws, adjusted it to a flush fit and redrilled the two holes to 3ቼ". Immediately after installing the screws in the new holes it fits ideal. I ordered another for myself. Had to redrill the screw holes for a best flush fit. These must be OEM on all instances.

for a storage box its wonderful, you get to have a place to put anything tiny and compact like iphone or even your receipts. maintain in thoughts that it is plastic, the only metal portion is the cover thats all, which is type of a bummer given that i want a metal storage box, one more factor, but expected is that when transporting, don't have the case to the side otherwise anything will slide and a discomfort to reorganize almost everything, this tends to be a challenge for those who often transport their pc typically or like me always modding the interior of the case i generally shop my tough drive screws and something else the case and motherboard supplied, which comes in handy considering that i tend to shed these stuff immediately after right soon after i completed assembling my pc
