It functions great. Lots of connection choices It's heavy - not for a personal computer you want to tote to LAN parties. I like Antec EarthWatts energy supplies. I've by no means had an problem with them in the past. I thought that this a single was a great deal, and even although I doubt I will need a 750w power supply, I couldn't pass it up.

not substantially spare wiring to hidesimply powers single card OC rigsstraightforward cable managementThere aren't a lot of permanent cables to try to hide, producing airflow straightforward. The voltages are tight, it can deal with a single card overclock with ease. The fan is complete garbage.the sleeving is pretty transparentThe biggest issue with this PSU is the unbelievably annoying fan. inside three days the bearings went out and i can hear the fan knocking from a area away.If you have an open case you're going to have to resleeve the PSU wires as nicely. If you're running an air cooled program with a bunch of 120mm fans complete blast you might not discover the PSU fan, if that's the case this is a fantastic buy for cheap. if you're operating water cooled or bigger fans, this isn't the psu for you

It works i have the similar trouble somebody else mentioned about the power plug that supplies power to the CPU Ƙ pin proper next to the CPU) my case mounts the psu on the bottom and that 1 cable barely reaches the plug mostly cuz of my HD 4870 vid card . not totally antec's fault bout the plug length but additional and more situations are mounting the psu on the bottom , they might want to add yet another 6 in to those cords.

Fantastic Wattage, 4 12v rails, semi modular. properly built and quiet. not seriously dual SLI prepared, the Graphics connectors are on two cables, two per cable, while every cable has it's own 12v rail. I caughtthis on sale for 20 bucks less costly. Well worth the price tag for me,

This is an update to a evaluation I posted on tenǟ񳏊. Fantastic style and the braided cables are nice. The semi-modular design will allow you to leave a very good quantity of the cables out if you are not employing them. Cables are long sufficient for all but the greatest of instances. In my Antec 600 where the power supply mounts on the bottom, I was able to route the CPU cable up and out of the way. The power supply was silent initially but soon after two months or so it developed an intermittent rattle that was driving me nuts. It sounded like the fan was hitting something inside so I RMA'd it and the new 1 is operating properly. Hopefully the new one lasts more than two months and this is the purpose I knocked two eggs off. The RMA method was pretty decent. Antec allowed me to do a two way RMA which involved me ordering a new power supply from their website (费) and paying for it up-front. I then sent the old power provide back in the same box and they credited my account back. The complete process took 3-4 weeks so I'm glad I did it that way having no down-time on the computer itself rather than wait as that would have been way too lengthy to be without having my new pc.

Every little thing except whats going to be mentioned below. its probably with my motherboard placement and my obnoxiously huge video card, but 1 of the cables on the PSU doesn't reach about the gfx card and into the slot it desires to be, so its kind of... in front of a fan and in the way.... D: but whatever, its nonetheless terrific xD

Power up my crossfire create no challenge.Sufficient PCI-E connectors. Fan makes some clicking-like sound soon after working with it for a although. Poking the fan with something will stop the noise but it preserve coming back.Fan makes that type of noise at a particular speed I guess. Nevertheless, you can't manage the fan speed of this PSU Sad to see a solid PSU gets ruined by small factor like fan.RMA went by means of quick. Fantastic consumer support. Waiting for it to be shipped back. Will see how it goes.P.S. I already invested ์ for a different PSU to maintain my Computer going. Not pleased about that.

I've built other systems ahead of, but never sprung for a superior PS. I couldn't pass up NewEgg's most recent Antec Case + PS combo deal. I can't see myself ever needing the power or all the cabling this factor has. Big fan and quiet. Wires are nicely bundled. 3 added plugs on the PS for the extra cables (supplied) if needed. none Got the combo with the Antec 300. Thankfully that case has sufficient room to fit all of the wires I'm not using.

Only had it a couple weeks so far, but it appears great. Feels really reliable. My first Antec item, I am very glad I purchased it. One of the SATA adapters came broken. That sucks, because now I have an added wire that I can't use just sticking out. Also, the cable management is a joke. It's a excellent PSU, absolutely nothing special about it other than it appears extremely reliable and clean.

This is clearly a terrific Power Supply. It had all the connections we needed and not several we didn't use. It's effectively created and was quiet. The fan started producing some noise so we are returning it for another identical one particular (sans the noise). Clearly, the truth that we are sticking with an identicalPower Provide shows that we truly like it overall.

i truly like the semi Modular Cable Style - it makes operating with it straightforward, but look at the cons Its creating a loud Clicking Noise and yes i checked to make certain it wasn't the hard drives its not... the fan i'm not positive that its running effectively otherwise its a fantastic energy supply hope to have it fixed if its just the fan

Somewhat modular. Fit suitable in the case, quiet (can't hear more than case fans, and case fans are super quiet too). lots of excess cables at the moment. eco friendly? the cost just happened to be right... I'm not one to care about the environmental impact my personal computer has; as lengthy as it melts faces I don't care if I require 2x coal plants to provide power

Grab it on sale for 99$ plus a 15$ MIR (received it pretty quickly not like the '' XXZ '' brand that i never received any MIR for so many items)Antec have not the best PSU but at that price for an old system ( well one year old ) it will fill the job. Needed 2 of that 'z' brand for the first year of life from that PCI had already owned Antec's before, even with basic PSU that comes with cases and i honestly never burned any. Give away those old PC and never heard anyone complaining about the PSUYes got extra wires useless, and can't get rid of them.OK the 'Z' brand gave me a nice pouch to put the space cables in !!So yes will recommend, but not for high end rig

Thought it was a great deal at $80 and made the purchase for my NCIX-built system. It's more than enough power for now but will come in handy for future upgrades (video card and hard drives)

Comment:
Functionally performas very nicely, and the top/bottom facing fan works incredibly nicely with cases developed for this. The "Hybrid Modular Power" this comes with is laughable. I purchased it thinking that it would be challenging wired with the 24pin and other needed motherboard connections and the rest would be modular. Every single line has three connections, 3 Sata are challenging wired, 3 Molex are tough wired. It comes with 2x by 3x molex modular cables, 2x by 3x Sata cables, and 1x PCI-E power. The supply itself can fit two of the additional power cables (your selection which one) but all the lines may well as well be challenging wired. I didn't require the molex set at all - that was difficult wired, but due to the provided cable length I ended up needing to plug in Both added Sata connections to reach all of my drives. If you have a larger case, or many drives the "Modular" feature of this drive isn't helpful.
