Comment:
It ran nice for the 10 months I had it. No complaints other than the PSU creating a loud buzzing and the PC not booting. 1st PSU I've had in a lengthy time that just went out like it did. Hopefully the rest of my system didn't get fried.

Comment:
Quiet. Power levels stay inside tolerance. Looks kinda cool too. Massive and Heavy. Not rather as "modular" as the Raidmax 530 in my other machine. There are incredibly few modular connectors on this supply. most of them being the PCIe power and some additional SATA supply cables. if you dont want some of the other cables that are included your only alternative is to hide them. Buyer also beware that if youre planning on adding this to a case on the smaller side, measure and judge strength 1st. This unit is much bigger and heavier than i expected. Although not unmanageable.

- Quiet- High wattage- Modularish- SLI prepared if required- Size- Four 12V rails - Not modular sufficient; almost all the cables are fixed with the exception of a couple PCI and expansion cables I bought this for its modular capability and 12V rails, although it failed me on the modular capacity.

Comment:
Modular cables; quiet. By no means worked from the get started. Created 2 of my hard drives quiet (as in FRIED them). I've lost my faith in this brand. I went with a 750W Cool Master PSU and it worked great. Also, the paperwork/documentation was poor. If you're a tech. You might want to energy up the unit and measure the voltage on the cables ahead of connecting up your high-priced hardware. I'm lucky it didn't destroy the new MoBo and 6GB of RAM!

Hybrid modular cables are great. Solid PSU.The create excellent can be noticed.Silent fan operation. None definitely I didn't have to use any of the modular cabling, the hardwired cables are sufficient for a total of four case fans, four HDD's, DVD drive, Radeon HD 6870, and a Phenom 9750.Can't wait to upgrade my CPU and MOBOwhen Sandy Bridge is re-released.

Antec EA750 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
Cons:Partial Modular Cable system is useless. You'll probably only put away one cable if you aren't running crossfire.

Pros:Nice clean power. Quiet fan.
Comment:
Great little power supply from a good brand. Got it for $80 on sale. Great deal. Runs clean and operates my Crossfire setup no with no problems. Cable are nice a long which is great cause my PSU mounts on the bottom of my case.

Antec EA750 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
Comment:
The unit works and has the attributes I need to have. Its turns AC into DC from the wall - its magic. Clean looking unit. Somewhat disappointed. Like all vendors, saving funds here and there - cables a small brief, no bells or whistles (led fan). So at the finish of the day - just a workhorse PS. Not some thing to show-off. Antec provides you five additional cables but only three modular plug-ins, do folks truly break the cables? PCI-ex is odd, one cable with a Y in it for the other connector - not a separate cable. Fan is quiet but other Antec PS I have make much less noise. The test will be to see if the power is clean and the PS works more than time.

Antec EA750 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
Cons:kind of big for Sonata III case.not full modulara much noiser than PS came with the Sonata III

Pros:4 Ralistable
Comment:
It's not as quiet as the original Earthwatt 500 that came with Sonata III case. Also you need a bigger case for this PS otherwise it is just too much cable for smaller case like Sonata III. Semi-modular deoesn't really help much because the one I don't want to use are still there. Advanced Hybrid Cable Management isn't so great 'cause it makes the cable hard to bend. I am just quite disapponted how noisy the fan is (You can't even hear the noise from the case fan when you set the speed to 2 or lower 'cause the PS is too noisy)

Very good energy, quiet fan, cables a bit long but works out ok, mounts in case excellent. Installed power supply in case and was well satisfied with the performance of unit but 30 dayd later unit began producing a clicking noise internally, contacted ANTEC two times for a RMA with no response, now I am presently stuck with a incredibly annoying clicker. Would not recomend or obtain this product once again, other coustomers are also having clicking noise

Comment:
I have owned various Antec energy supplies and have not had any issues with any of them. This power supply comes with several added cables that was a lot more than sufficient for my new construct. All of the cables are held together in groups with a sheath that keeps the inside of the case less cluttered. None at all. Got for a wonderful cost with an instant rebate.

Antec EA750 750W Continuous Power "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
Comment:
Quiet, cool, modular, economical. A few of the cords aren't very long sufficient - notably the 8-pin CPU power cable - for cases with bottom mount PS (Antec 902 in my case ... haha). It reaches, just barely, and is technically out of the way of all the airflow in the case, but it doesn't look quite as "finished" as the rest of the cabling in the case. I'm really not currently utilizing any of the modular cables, so it was nice to be able to get rid of them. But, that was a feature I sought out in a PS anyway. This is a superior PS. It's quiet and runs cool, and the 750 watts is much more than enough for almost anybody. It has probably the ideal balance between power output, cost, and capabilities of anything on Newegg.

Pros: Stable power, runs cool, black finish, sleeved modular cables.
Comment:
I replaced a MIOS 545 watt fire hazard with this little Antec Earthwatts 750 gem.Let me say that my in case wire clutter has diminished substantially due to the modular design. select  only what you need and leave the rest in storage for potential upgrades.Runs cool and silent. Looks very nice with its black finish, and I thought the black screws were a nice touch as well.I bought it at 127$ and it seemed like a no brainer to me then. Antec is a solid brand.

Had this hooked up in my Quad Core system with crossfire HD5770's and it didn't miss a beat. The modular cables are great for cutting down on some cable clutter and come in handy when you just want something specific. Have nothing against this product at all.

I bought this and the NZXT Gamma case. I would not recommend anyone else doing that unless you like doing case mods. The air intake fan is much larger than the NZXT air port for the PSU. I did not feel like trying to return it, so I did some case mods. Great PSU. Runs quietly.

Cons:It should be noted with semi modular powersupplies that it's semi modular. Wires are smaller than my old coolermaster 550 watt ps - not sure yet if this is a weakness. All sata power connectors should have been angled.

Pros:Very quiet can't hear over case fans, had small power issues before, and after installed - computer runs great, powers lots of components no problem

Pros:Modulaire (partiellement).Bonne réserve de puissance.Très bon manufacturier.Bonne longueur de câbles.Silencieux.

I purchased this power supply as part of my first system build. I wanted to make sure I had adequate power to supply my new i7 system. This PSU is doing the job well. I have had no issues and still have room to grow. The fan is big and very quiet. Combine with the quiet fans in the Antec 900 case my system runs very cool and quiet.I highly recommend this PSU.System Build:Antec Nine Hundred Mid Tower Gamer Case 900 ATX 9 Drive Bay No PS Top USB2.0 1394 AudioWestern Digital WD1001FALS Caviar Black 1TB SATA2 7200RPM 4.2MS 32MB 3.5IN Dual Proc Hard DriveLG W2243T-PF 21.5IN 1920X1080 Black 1080P LCD 5ms 30000:1 DVI VGA Monitor ASUS Radeon 4870 Dk 750MHZ 1GB 3.6GHZ DDR5 PCI-E Dual DVI HDCP HDTV Out Video CardLG BH08-LS20 Black BLU-RAY Writer 8X BD-R 16X DVD-R SATA Lightscribe Internal DriveAltech Lansing VS2521 3 Piece Speaker Stereo SystemIntel Core i7 860 Quad Core Processor Lynnfield LGA1156 2.8GHZ Hyperthreading 8MB CacheASUS P7P55D Deluxe LGA1156 P55 DDR3 3PCI-E16 2PCI-E1 PCI SLI Crossfirex 9SATA GBLAN 1394 MotherboardCorsair XMS3 Dominator 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 8-8-8-24 Core i5 i7 Dual Channel Memory KitAntec Earthwatts 750W Modular Power Supply ATX12V V2.2 EPS12V Active PFC 80PLUS 120MM FannGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SM/SDHC/MMC/MS/XD 18IN Cable

Cons:- NOT fully modular, don't be fooled by the product description

Pros:- Value, in that it's very well-priced for what you get- Performance, in that I didn't expect this much out of a PSU in this price range- Good build quality
Comment:
I love this PSU.I bought this expecting it to power my fairly modest system, with a Visiontek HD 4890OC, at the time. It handled this very well.I've since made some very significant upgrades for gaming purposes. Here is what I am running currently:Intel Core 2 Quad Yorkfield Q9550 (OC'ed to 3.4ghz, 400x8.5)4x2gb ddr2 800 OCZ Gold dimmsAsus P5Q DeluxeAuzentech X-Fi Prelude 7.1Intel x25-m 80gig Postville SSDWD 250gig Caviar 7200rpm SATA2Samsung SH-S223B DVDRWand last but not least2 x Visiontek HD4890OC in CrossfireThis all performs very well, and %100 stable under stress. I haven't had any trouble at all at this point, and I'm very impressed. I honestly did not expect to be able to run all of this stuff on this PSU, but I thought I would keep throwing hardware at it until it gave me trouble. It hasn't.If you're shopping for a new PSU, I don't think you can hope to do any better in this price range. There are going to be some rigs out there that require a more powerful PSU, but I imagine most people have a lower power consumption than what my system is currently using. This power supply should easily power any single-GPU system, and as you can see, some Corssfire/SLI setups.I can't say enough about this PSU. I underestimated it completely. I am a very satisfied customer.Kudos, Antec :0D This review was modfied by poster @ 11-27-09 12:08 AM
