Quiet, Sturdy, Indirect LEDs Cheap plastic front bezel, slow consumer service from Antec. It met my expectations properly for how quiet and sturdy it is. Even so, the side air vents of the front bezel came out of the boxed cracked. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't have an effect on the functionality of the case, but for the price and the great overall high quality of the case, this was unexpected. It seems like each open and close of the front bezel (not essential often) will place uncessary strain on the plastic.Antec has been slow at very best to respond to this difficulty.

-Quiet-Attractive-Front ports are helpful -Power and Reset buttons snapped correct off!-Hard drive bays point the incorrect way and are buried underneath two separate, opposing doors.-Not particularly roomy; awkward for cable management and large video cards Purchasers remorse. This case is not low-cost and there were some clear corners cut in its style. I was able to repair my power button with model glue but the reset button snapped off just about every time... So now I need to have to use a pen. Obnoxious. The pro's are challenging to appreciate with the cons in thoughts.

I upgraded from an original Antec Sonata case, so I'll be comparing it to that.-No additional front door to get in the way-Front audio and USB are flush with the case, nut recessed and breakable like on my other case-A lot of drive space-Strong construction-No horribly vibrant LED's all over it -Only one 120mm fan in back, but room for two 92mm in the front panel which I have to acquire seperately-No space for another fan inside the case (I miss that second 120mm)-Front panel could be much easier to get open-Front panel desires to be opened to get to the air filter now You need to have to open the whole case to get to it now. Effectively worthy of replacing my old Sonata case. I wouldn't hesitate to obtain an additional one particular.

Sophisticated seeking, excellent layout, good cable mgmt region behind three.five" drive bay. Vibration elimination via silicon drive mounts apparently overlooked by reviewers who complain of hanging mount choice. No PSU, but I always put in aftermarket energy any way. Silver face is not as quite as rest of finish, but a non-challenge for me. It is a Mid Tower (READ THE DOC), so take whiners with a grain a salt with respect to Full Length Video complaints. I have installed dual GT260s with no problem, other than it reduces reduce 3.5" drive bay count by 1. With existing enormous drive capacitiess, who cares? I appreciate this case... I've constructed about 30 systems in it. IF the video card clearance were 1" higher, I'd be thrilled. Most compaints are about video card lnth concerns, or the On/Off button breaking off. I use two macines w/ this case at property every day, 1000s of energy cycles, and never ever had an problem, so I wonder how other folks are turning on their systems. with a hammer?

1. Solid steel building 1. You will have to remove your CPU cooler if you determine to upgrade your power supply in the future.2. Most higher-finish video cards (such as the EVGA GTX 260) will not fit in this case, unless you mutilate the case. I WANT MY Income BACK!

Ive had my Fair share of Excellent and negative cases more than a lot of years and this is Literally The finest Case I have ever owned. Its quite incredibly Sturdy and constructed like a champ, plus it can take a beating. Its lasted me Going on 2 Years, and 3 Mother Boards. The Challenging Drive Rails Contain Good Rubber Cushions to Absorb Heavy Movement. Other then Moving it to a Lan Celebration or an additional property, I cant see why you'd require to, but its there and Functions amazingly properly. Practically nothing I truly have to complain about. Im not a big fain of Railings. I Per fer the Traditional Slide and Screw mount for five.25in Drives. But its not a Massive deal. If I could give this case 6 Eggs, I would.

Quite quiet, quite solid case... glossy black paint job incredibly effectively completed. 120mm fans can be mounted front and rear. Noise- damping mounts for HDs. Good case for people who need to have to construct a quiet Pc that doesn't take a ton of floor space. Steel. Heavy when constructed out. No eSATA or Firewire jacks on front panel (if you really need to have them up front; opinions differ). I have 2 of these; one I constructed up for a relative with an Abit AN52, 600w Corsair p/s and my old 8800 GTS card (the original 320MB version) w/ a dual- slot HSF. Not a small or cool- running card by any suggests, but I was capable to match that and two 640GB WD HDs in it w/ no issue. I utilized Arctic Cooling fans and HSF on an AMD 5000 X2 and the comp is so quiet you can't hear it from a lot more than 6" away. (My Seagate external drive is louder!) Note to previous reviewer (powamon): this is NOT a full-tower case so get 1 for your GTX295 card... maybe a Antec Twelve Hundred or a CM HAF922. just a suggestion.

1. Extremely quiet.two. Higher create quality. As a lot of have pointed out.1. On the modest side. Measure your video card. Why don't video card manufacturers list length as a specɸ. The on/off switch is touchy. You can have to mess with the positioning sometimes to get it to operate effectively right after you open the front. They've in no way broken on me having said that.three. Changing energy supplies is a challenge with the bar underneath it. The bar under the energy provide can be created removable if you can machine a couple of small aluminum blocks and mount them onto the bar (one on every end) working with tapped holes in the blocks and machine screws and then mount the bar back into the case using machine screws into the ends of the bar (into holes you've tapped into the blocks coincident with exactly where the rivets implemented to go).The rivets holding the bar into the case are simple and easy to drill out.

Nice, compact and nicely developed. Power and reset buttons are affordable plastic and break effortlessly. ANTEC does NOT honor their rebates. They accepted the rebate, but I am nonetheless waiting for my check A YEAR later !!!Any attempts I produced to contact them about it seems to be ignored...

Antec did a good job with sound dampening this case. The drive suspension system is amazing. If you don't go with the suspension system, the rubber mounts also work incredibly nicely to minimize vibration noises from traveling to the case. The finish is great. Great customer service. Cable management is also nice. The front bezel top quality is beneath Antec requirements. My initial bezels power buttons failed to line up perfectly with the actual switches on the chassis. The reset button didn't operate and the power button essential a extremely deep push to get it to recognize. I contacted Antec, and they shipped me a new cover, no concerns asked. The new cover fixed the challenge. But now a handful of months later, I go to push the reset button, and the button absolutely collapsed. It's now sitting inside the bezel. For a button that I so hardly ever push, I wouldn't have expected it to fail like this. So now I'll be contacting Antec to see if I can get a 3rd front cover. It's really the finest designed case I've ever owned, but the top quality of a few tiny pieces of plastic make it tough to advise.

Very nice case to develop in, effortless access to anything and modular drive systems had been incredibly nice to function with. Also very quiet, substantially much more so than my Sonata I case even when it was new. I would have provided it 5 eggs but mine arrived with one of the front USB ports deformed, I'm confident antec would have replaced it but it was less difficult to bend it back with pliers. Also my board has the SATA ports sideways so putting in these cables was a pain but then again how often do you need to screw with them. Ultimately the manual was vague on what screws go exactly where, though you can reason it out its annoying. I didn't attempt the suspended drive gimmick so can't comment on that. Also with my ATI 4850 Video card it fits with some space to spare but I doubt considerably bigger would.

Pros:Quiet, compact

This is a great little case. Got a 8800 GTX and an Tuniq tower inside, so enough space for anything you could need.Noise seems to be kept down quite a lot with this case, only when fans are at tornado speed do you notice, haven't heard a hard drive once with this case.Waiting for 2 92mm fans to arrive, to help keep things cool on my hard drives and lower in the cage. The GTX has exhaust slots that dump heat into the bottom.

Solid construction, good simple design with clean lines. The silver colored faceplace is not glued really properly. the faceplate has pulled loose from the base, proper by the power button so notice it just about every time I turn it on. Seems to be a negative batch of glue. I actually like the situation style but gave it a two for poor workmanship. Contaced the company for replacement but no response. Quite convoluted warranty replacment request procedure, a different reason for the two. If not for the defective faceplace I'd give it a five.

Excellent case. Great features with insulated panel, rolled edges, front fan filters, silicon pads or suspension pads for HD. Good top quality construction, feel and finish. Uncomplicated to mount HD into trays. Basic thumb screws for getting rid of panel. Cable management hooks. Fits Xigmatek HDT S-1283 cooler completely. Looks fairly. If I had to adjust something it would be the PSU slot. They should make it so you don’t have to take away the CPU cooler to get the PSU in/out. Not an problem on a new create but if you had to swap out PSU’s then you end up pulling the cooler and perhaps the MB. The Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P MB had to be angled in to match into the situation, but it did match. I was aiming for a quiet build and this case keeps very. I replaced the situation fan with a Scythe S-Flex case fan to keep the noise down. For an Antec Solo situation, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P and the S-1283 cooler it’s a tiny complicated fitting your hand to plug in the 12V power plug, and I contemplate my hands small. My make incorporates Antec Solo, E8400, Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P, Xigmatek HDT S-1283 cooler and ACK-I7751 backplate, G.Talent DDR2 800 4GB, WD Blue 640GB HD, Corsair VX-450, Scythe S-Flex SSF21D situation fan, Samsung DVD SH-S223F, MSI HD 4350 video card (I’m not a gamer).

Heavy so it won't tip over if you bump into it.Soundproof panels but then see the cons.Trays that slide in and out. Heavy, it is as well the point I really feel I am functioning on a dead horse. Soundproof panels don't help a lot. I have 3 drives and I bought 92mm fans. You'd discover that how small aid the soundproof panels are. You go with Scythe but then you wonder about the intake panels due to the fact they appear to quit the air flow properly. It is a pain to put in a new tricky disk given that you have to get rid of front of the case and then the front panel and front panel dangles in front of case. I have fans set up inside the front panel but it will nevertheless dangle due to hd light.LED are way also vibrant blue, in a area you could see it shine from side intakes. Not significantly space to put in an ATX motherboard. If you want to put in a single or two tricky drive and nothing at all fancy, this might be the situation for you but then I'd take Antec 300 over this any day of the year.If you want to produce a Pc silent, get Antec 300 and place in some low power 120mm fans and a great large CPU cooler.

This situation is amazing! Every little thing you would count on from paying a decent amount for a case. Comes with all the screws and accessories you could possibly need to have. Setting up drives is uncomplicated. Even the paint finish on the case is high gloss! I can virtually see myself in the issue! 1. Went to go set up the motherboard and couldnt come across the extra motherboard posts or added screws. Got truly upset considering they forgot to pack them or weren't integrated for the value. Turns out they were zip tied to one of the posts inside the case. Took me about 30 mins to figure that out. Oops.two. Installing drives is deceptively effortless. As I'm used to operating with junky no name cases, i struggled to put in my initially drive by means of the back, only to locate out drives can easily be set up by way of the front. Yet another situation of Read the freekin manual! Oops. I had regarded as acquiring a cheaper case for 30 dollars significantly less. I'm glad I didn't. This case is worth the added income for the convenience, and look. Quite skilled searching. Not a "gamer" case given that it doesnt have lexan sides or extraneous LEDs, which in my situation was a fantastic issue!

- quiet- appears sturdy- fantastic cable management technique- good layout for fans, and so on. - none so far.... This was my initial computer system create. I researched this a lot before buying, and am extremely satisfied with my choice. This is an outstanding case. No regrets. I won't be employing the super-silent challenging drive suspension technique. It looks a small sketchy to me. I'm sticking with the regular installation method, which is very quiet, has rubber grommets, and so on.

Incredibly solid construction (but see Cons beneath). The drives can be rubber mounted for ultimate silence. My ownership seasoned has been marred by the power button breaking repeatedly. The design of the button is poor, there is a plastic weld that holds it in location which breaks quickly in standard use. When it breaks you cannot quickly turn the Computer on or off, so you have to take the case apart and glue the components back collectively. I have not been capable to uncover an adhesive that will operate reliably in this modest region/ higher force/ slippery plastic position for much more than 3-6 months at a time. The annoyance element outweighed the advantages for me.

The Computer I built in this case is the quietest non-Mac pc I've utilized. Granted, I did get my other elements based on how loud they are, but I still am utilizing the stock i7 cooler and the noise level is really low. When I run the pc with it's side off, it's noticeably louder. Wish it had an eSATA port in the front, but that's not considerably of a con. If you buy this mainly because you want a quiet Pc, make confident you get a quiet energy supply as nicely. This case is fantastic, but won't make a loud PSU quiet.
