-Constructed in wire management method-Heavy side panels deaden some sound-Captured thumb screws yes please and thanks-Thoughtful construction for air flow-3 speed stock fan-'Silent' mounting choices for tough drives-Easy front mounting method for CD / HDDs-Simple documentation-Eye-catching piano black and silver finish -Desirable finish attracts smudges-No massage function... I used this case for my 1st 'from scratch' create. On the other hand I've been upgrading / taking apart / placing with each other Pc bits for a few years now and haven't had the joy of operating with such a top quality case ahead of. I will never ever skimp on circumstances.. ever... following working with this. The only feature that may well've been nice is a removable (sliding?) MoBo tray. I haven't dealt with 1 but have heard of it. Sounds delightful. In addition to that it was a breeze to function with and looks swell as effectively.

QUIET. Set the tri-cool fan to low, get a low-noise PSU (Antec EA series) and a pwm CPU cooler, and this is a close to silent case. The vinyl insulation on the leading and side panels dampens the currently sturdy steel. I am making use of the "rubber band" HDD mounting with no difficulty for > two.5 yrs.Great seeking (not gnarly) look. Gloss black and brushed alum. finish is nevertheless perfect soon after extended period. Energy switch button on front cover. Plastic melted to plastic design is not created to final. (do a net search) It broke right after 1.five years and I repaired w/ two-element epoxy. Seemed fine but lasted ~ 1 yr. with each day use by wife and children. This time I wired down the two mounting points after very carefully drilling 2 tiny holes in each post. This seems like a permanent solution. :-)Style is somewhat dated; top rated mount PSU and floppy panel want updating. Employing this for the primary family members box near the kitchen and it is like new after > 2.5 yrs. I would not advocate this as a gaming case, but for family and workplace use it is a winner.Mine includes:Antec EA380 PSUAsus P5K-E Wifi moboCore two Duo E6750 @ 2.8ghzZEROtherm BTF90 "butterfly" CPU cooler2GB A-Data Intense Edition DDR2WD 640GB "Blue" HDDWin 7 Property x64Felt compelled to critique this case following power switch button failure (again).

I've produced computer systems with other antec cases (sonata I and II, P180, P182) - Antec has truly nailed it with this situation. You can make a incredibly quiet create with this case, and in spite of it being a mid tower you can handle to fit pretty large heatsinks with clearance (I use a megahalems with this situation, for reference - the only dilemma is with my mobo, not the situation). Many places to clip cables out of the way also guarantees a cleaner layout and much less stuff receiving in the way of airflow. Very easily removable and cleanable front filter is great and necessary.... Despite the fact that the difficult drive elastic thingies do work ok at decreasing challenging drive noise, however they don't do a excellent job of holding the hard drives in, and it's extremely probably that if you move the case at all that the hard drives will slide out and plop on the bottom of your situation.

The title says it. Antec good quality and capabilities. This was far better than I had expected. Turned out to have adequate cable storage to give me a 'clean' create even with my Corsair non modular PSU. Actually quiet even with the 2 front tri cool fans I installed on medium. None for me. Not truly a con but they could shed the Firewire front port. As I stated better than I expected. Looks excellent but would have preferred a matte finish over the glossy paint. So just will need to wipe if off once in a while no big deal. I did a lot of analysis on many situations and this a single was what I needed. Very good layout for airflow.

Clean easy set up. Solid construction. Exceptional style and finish. Side panel door has attached thumb screws so no worries about losing them. Lots of room for all elements which includes my 4870 GPU. Cable management permits for maximum airflow, even with a single 120mm fan. My only complaint is I can't set my monitor to sleep mode with this case mainly because I can't tell when the laptop or computer is on - It's seriously that quiet. I maintain shutting it off when I believe I'm turning it on. For these folks who claim they are knowledgable and knowledgeable, and then rate this case poorly because of difficulty with design or insufficient space, stick with your e-machine, mainly because we all know you're incompetent posers.

1) Very stong steel construction2) Simple to open side and front panelsthree) Great create excellent4) Skilled hunting office quality case No cons. Read the instruction booklet before you complain about this situation. It all operates perfectly if you know what you are performing when you assemble your system. It is greater than I expected for the value. IMHO, this is not a "gaming" situation. It is not created for a high-wattage method that generates a high heat load. The case has a single 120-mm exhaust fan. But it is an superb situation for a typical household-Computer or an office-Pc.

Excellent situation I have bought 4 of them and I enjoy them. The operate quite effectively and Antec assistance is superb. No sharp edges, exceptional enamel finish, nice hd trays, great instructions, and good quantity of further screws. 9800 GTX+ will NOT fit in the situation with no modification to the situation. Uncomplicated fix with the proper universal tool, but all the exact same know that a 9800 GTX+ will not just drop in. The video card is about 1ǚ" as well lengthy. Can use a lot more HD trays. Do not like the elastic suspension idea. Received situation with broken front panel. Antec replaced a broken front panel no concerns asked.

Sturdy, effectively built Cramped (ATX MB is challenging to install) for a situation this size. Heavy.Far worse is that the power switch appears to fail intermittently. I've had 2 of these cases. In the very first case, following utilizing the machine myself for a couple of months I gave it to my brother. After a couple of weeks the machine began to spontaneously reboot. I spent hours replacing very first the power provide, then the CPU, then the motherboard, memory only to find out in the end that the case was to blame. I bought a COOLER MASTER Elite 341 for ุ, straightforward and straightforward install, and he hasn't had any issues because. Even even though I had the exact same case for my key machine, and other people today have reported comparable problems, I believed I was safe mainly because I hardly ever turn the machine on/off. No luck. A single day the machine was off right after I left it on, and couldn't be turned on utilizing the power switch any more.I only give this situation 1 star since newegg doesn't enable negative stars. Worse situation I've ever utilised.

Looks excellent! Situation has worked properly for over a year now. two fans in front of HD's with air filter. Replace std. Antec fan with PWM fan for far better air flow vs. sound mgmnt. Like the front mount firewire. Not a lot of room for fantastic cable mgmnt. with 4 HD's, atx board, and so on. Just got a new 260 GTX video card and it won't fit. Even moving 1 of the HD's that it hits won't function since it nonetheless hits the drive cage. Due to the fact I would have to disassemble every little thing to cut the cage, it's just less complicated to replace the situation. Too undesirable. I genuinely liked this case, but I want the new video card much more. Just before new card, case was at least four if not five eggs.

Solid, looks good, easy to function in. The front ports all worked flawlessly with my motherboard. Given that the situation is so solid and even has some extra plastic on the inside, it keeps the noise down pretty well. Nice searching blue power and HDD lights. The included fan is the loudest component of my system (although, it's nevertheless really quiet, so perhaps this is not actually a con). I certainly advise this case. It's not too expensive, it looks fantastic, and it's quiet.

Just FYI, around the Holidays a year or so ago. I got this sucker for I believe like ten bucks right after instant & mail in rebates. I cant bear in mind, but the deal was ridiculous... With a deal like above, none whatsoever. Plus, it's a cool seeking case & extremely quite fairly.... Wonderful bullet proof no frills, all function case... You'll dig it.

Strong steel building Antec has this ongoing dilemma with defective front USB 񳅢 / Audio port: when you plug anything in Computer reboots right the exact same second. Telephone help at 800-222-6832 is terrible - you'll wait for 40 min. in "que quantity a single" just to speak to somebody useless.

Excellent elements. Cool bungie HDD mounts. Desirable situation. Quiet. Decent quantity of room. Cost. It is tricky to access the energy provide. I have an Arctic Cooler 7, and I have to unscrew my motherboard and slide it down, in order to adjust the energy supply, which I ended up possessing to do. It's sort of a discomfort.

I have been making Pc's for 15 years. This is one particular of the finest instances I have EVER had the privilege of working with. The drive bay layout is amazing, each is swift release. It's solid and the gloss black finish is remarkable. The mounting choices for MoBos, fans, internal and external drives, are excellent. The thumbscrews to release side panel and front fan/filter cover are tight, and logical. Cable routing is easy, well thought out, and enables for exceptional airflow and cooling. This case, for this price tag, has an awesome HDD mounting layout, with felt lined cage assistance, and rubber damped bottom mount HDD configuration. Noise transfer from the tricky drives to the chassis is non-existent. ASUS supplies 'cable hooks' for routing cables on the far side of the drive bays. These hooks are worthless unless you take the proper hand (as you face the front of the case) cover off. You can't hook a single wire to the incredibly effectively believed out, but really poorly placed, cable lacing hooks, unless you just punt and occur to hit one or two of them on accident! Just purchased 2 far more!

Looks slick, quite quiet, innovative HDD noise reduction tactic. Doesn't include things like a power provide, hdd suspension does not appear to help two.5" hdds. This case is pricey but is awesome. The front panel is sleek and the case is screwless. Once more the value is high for a case with no PSU but if you're looking for quiet this is the appropriate case.I did not use the case fan that came with this case, rather I opted for a Nexus 120mm quiet fan so I can not rate the case fan.FYI, I paired this with the CoolerMaster Silent Pro M600 power provide. Incredibly nice pairing.

five Eggs from me, uncomplicated. I purchased this soon after seeing favorable mention on silentpcreview.com. Ahead of I got this I didn't comprehend how critical the case was in managing ambiant noise. It's large fan in the back keeps my hardware cool devoid of adding to acoustics. In my case I have a fanless PSU and was in a position to get a fanless PCI-E graphics card with out worrying about thermals. It's simple to work with also, with solid construction and every little thing simple to get to on the inside. The accessories do not include a Pc Speaker. Not a huge deal for me, as I just pilfered the old a single from the case I was replacing. Also, if you're a die-hard silent Pc enthusiast, there might be superior goods out there. But if you are just starting out in pursuing the silent workplace, then this product will put you well on your way, particularly taking into consideration the price tag.

Like the Sonata, the size is ideal for a lot of users -- not cramped, not massive, with plenty of expansion. It's solid, quiet and well constructed -- this case is seriously great. It's a worthy successor and improvement in quite a few methods to my previous Antec Sonata case. Thank goodness they dropped the annoying drive door and rotating USB cover. The drive access in the Sonata was superior for enthusiasts that swap drives regularly. The side mounting slots in the three.five" floppy adapter are not in the appropriate location. This signifies that either the steel adapter or the plastic slides demand modification in order to install most internal flash card readers. In contrast, the Sonata 3.five" sled has holes, not slots, that are perfectly situated. Four out of five eggs due to the design flaw with the 3.5" mount for externally accessible devices.
