I thought this would be a plain case, mostly I wanted quiet. Turns out, though it's uncomplicated, it's high quality appeals. I gave it to my mother, and she mentioned, "Wow, it's fairly." Also, when it's running you can barely hear it. The difficult-drive slides have convenient slots in the bottom of the case for storage, and the "screws" that hold the appropriate side of the case on are great - they remain attached to the panel. Quite hassle-free. I was suprised to not come across a spot to place the extra screws in the case. If you're going to have a place for the slides, why not include things like a small box for screws so the case is self-contained?

Solid, desirable and quiet. I have one more computer in a single of these so it was a quite effortless selection. Largest Gripe: Had to take my Moto-Tool to the HD mounting cage to get my long ྪ.5") video card to fit. Would be nice if they changed the design to assistance major video cards.Minor quibblesɅ) No case speaker. Not an issue for standard use but would be nice to have when you are troubleshooting a new method that won't boot.2) Case fan connects to a HD power connector instead of the motherboard. So I can't monitor the fan speed. I've utilized Antec situations for every single computer system I've built for numerous years now and I have constantly been pleased.

very quietshock mounts for hard drivesvery good documentationgreat looks front panel USB ports are jammed too close together! This is a stellar product is pretty much every single regard. It looks very good, is super fairly, has lots of fantastic characteristics, and the price is reasonable. But there's one particular significant flaw: the two USB ports on the front panel are incredibly close together. You can barely attach two USB cables simultaneously. Forget about employing anything in the second USB port if you have a information stick (flash drive) in one particular of the ports. I would have by no means purchased this case if I knew it had such a serious limitation. Just a handful of millimeters better spacing would have allowed the USB ports to be actually usable. It's frustrating to see such a wonderful product handicapped for no purpose.

Had all the capabilities I wanted. Beware of Antec rebates. They nonetheless owe me โ, right after their processing residence was accused of fraud. Sent numerous correspondence following Antecs directions to the letter, and not a single response. They have lost a client for life.

Great searching case. Smooth piano black finish and sophisticated silver front fascia. Case has a luxurious, solid feel to it. Cable management section avoids cable clutter inside, allowing for a clean installation and great air flow. Rear fan is quiet w/ adjustable speed. Rubber feet & sound isolating covers make it hardly audible through operation. Excellent case! Scratches!

Outstanding quality, and have no issues with buttons lining up as other individuals have mentioned. Heavy guage steel like the excellent old days. Incredibly QUIET! Nice finish, removable HD trays, filter, and all silicone grommets and feet. Has holes to flip PSU if necessary. I can not hear my tough drives and I'm not even making use of the suspension technique. Best bang for the buck! Wish it had eSATA instead of Firewire on front. Have to open side cover in order to release front cover and access washable intake filter. Emailed Antec, and front Audio is HDA compatible regardless of description. Front cover swings open immediately after you release tabs on one side, so you don't need to have to get rid of it.

nice stylemanual three speed for primary case fansolidsuspenders for hdd can not fit a gtx275 graphic card !!case is not silent : if your other fans (cpu, gpu, psu) are spinning quick it makes a lot of noisepriceyno esata on the front (this is faster than firewire port provided)install was painfull : not a single drawing for installation in the manual ( find out from ikea, antec)tri fan at level three is too noisy (level 1 and 2 are ok) it is a good case but i had to give it only 1 star simply because it was short of 5mm to fit my gtx275 graphic card , this is unnaceptable, the principal function of a case is to be in a position to put your hardware inside, antec are crazy people !!!i had to cut and bend the metal to fit my gtx275 gpu but the additional 5mm make me loose two of the 3 susspended hdd location.my two cents : if you want a globally silent computer, obtain the least expensive case you can find with huge silent fan and spend additional income on internal components with silent fans (big fans at slow speed) : PSU,CPU,GPU

* Sturdy, solid construction* Quiet aided by sound-dispersing interior surfaces* Major enough for my 7 hard drives + optical drive* Came with a lot of hardware accessories (screws, etc)* Suspension for tough drive bays (before I added a lot more)* Front panel swings open* Tool-free removal of the side* Exceptional style for airflow (takes air in on each sides and the bottom) * Front USB/firewire ports get dirty (they are exposed, not covered)* The power switch is a bit flimsy*The 120mm rear fan required replacement right after about 15 months of normal use (started squeaking at the lowest speed)* The blue indicator LEDs were too bright - I had to get rid of them I created my media computer system into this case since it was quiet, roomy, and supplied fantastic airflow. Prior to replacing the rear fan, I poked the speed controller out of the hole for the case lock in the back. This is 1 of the most pleasant experiences I've had with a computer case (going on at least 2 dozen).Case additions:* Added the Thermaltake A2309 iCage to convert three of the five.25" bays to three.5" bays.* Added two fans for front ventillation* Replaced the rear 120mm fan after the original began squeaking1 other note: If you're going to use a fanless video card, keep the case CLOSED even though testing it (airflow is not sufficient for cooling otherwise).

This is a incredibly high excellent box. It is powerful and well produced. Unlike some low-cost boxes, you won't bend it producing updates. The method mounting the challenging disk is quite excellent. even the "solid" mounting technique provides a lot of shock mounting. The cooling fan has an odd three position speed switch, a good touch. It would have been good if a location was provided to mount the switch. This is not a major deal but two things had been missing and this brought on the 4 star rating. There was no speaker or an equivalent. Although virtually all systems have external speakers now, some sound maker attached to the speaker pins on the mother board is still helpful for diagnostic purposes. Secondly, the clips necessary to mount 5 inch drives like CD/DVD drives were only supplied for 1 drive although there are three bays. It is successfully impossible to use the other two bays without the clips.

If you really want to develop a case that is impossible for anyone else to function with, this is the case for you. I have been developing systems for 15 years. When I say that this is the worst case that I have ever had to operate with, I am which includes circumstances from OEM's, cases that necessary hacksaws and even cases that I returned because they were so poor. This case was cautiously developed to be as difficult and challenging to operate with as possible. I in fact had to call in my wife to show her how horrible the challenging drive cage was - just to validate I hadn't somehow stepped into an alternative universe. Seriously although, this case does not come with adequate fans, the HD cage requires you to not only take away the case, then the front panel, but then also a secondary front panel and then you get to get rid of the drives on slide-out trays. Add on best of that this is the smallest "ATX" case I've ever worked with. Putting in an ATX motherboard, even though achievable, is like parking an RV in a compact car spot - you will absolutely have to get rid of almost everything else from the case and position points just proper to get it to fit. The case "space" for a video card is ten.five inches. Modern day video cards can very easily be 11 inches. Basically if you want to get a new video card ... it won't fit in this case. Soon after struggling with this case for more than an hour of build time I bought a Coolermaster 932. Took much less than 25 minutes to have everything in that case assembled and booting.

Quite silent, solid style. Basic and classy look.Incredibly simple rubber bands to hold challenging drive with out vibration. No bright LED lights. It's nice to know the HDD is operating without getting blinded by a blue laser beam. I had to mount my non-antec psu upside down for air-flow. I cut the foam from my corsair psu packaging to fill the gap at the top which worked nicely.Weighs a tonne - But thats why it's so quiet. I'd buy this over CoolerMaster any day and I've purchased a number of Coolermasters in the past.

Solid, attractive, reasonable size, excellent challenging drive mounting, quiet At close to 20 pounds, it is a bit heavy. I attempted 4 other highly rated instances for an ATX based board construct prior to I settled on this case. I have a 95 watt CPU, 5770 graphics board and two difficult drives. The case has 1 rear 120 mm fan, air inlets on the front and an extra air inlet on the back. The regular fan plus the power supply fan exhausts the case about 60 instances a minute, so there is no observable heat buildup in the case at all. The case has a cleanable air filter on the front inlets to help preserve dust out. You can also add two 80 mm fans on the front if you want even far more ventilation. The overall top quality of the paint and construction is outstanding. This case is a small greater priced than others, but you get what you pay for.

Slick and straightforward exterior style looks beautiful. Lots of 'little attributes': self-retaining thumbscrews, doors, air filter, silicone grommets on HD rails, space on proper-hand side of case for cables. Just a well-designed case -- and with sound-deadening panels & tri-cool fan, it's quiet! A little snug, but nothing unworkable. No internal speaker? Applied this for my 1st PC develop right after 25+ years' personal computer encounter. No complaints, other than UPS therapy of the shipping box.

Typically a very good, solid mid-tower case. The front hinges open, and is incredibly easy to take off entirely (open, raise, pull off) and put on (insert tabs back in hinges, and close it). Fairly quiet. Not as quiet as a P182. Two fit perfectly on a 19" rackmount shelf.

Great seeking, strong, sound deading panels inside, quite quiet, runs incredibly cool. Four front drive openings and two USB two. and firewire. I'd purchase a different if necessary. Energy supply hard to get rid of with out taking off CPU fan right after complete instalation. No front eSata connector, not several do. No front 3. USB, do any? If Antec is reading this please read my other thoughts below. If Antec reads these, fantastic case. Time for an update, USB three., eSata upfront and please move USB, other external connectors from bottom front to near the leading, far more tough to insert if case is kept at floor level. I've owned three other high quality LiLian instances prior to this buy before and so I am expecting quiality and this case met that expectation. I also am working with a LIAN LI PC-A05NB and while I like it, I prefer this Antec Solo due to it being quieter (steel case with sound deading panels compared to Lian Li aluminum, and the Antec nonetheless runs quite cool. If you move your laptop or computer alot the Lian Li is lighter and therefore much easier to move about.

-Sturdy. I know when I'm watching Television with friends that I can use this as a little stool for anybody.-The sound-dampening panels work really properly. On my initial construct with this case, I heard absolutely nothing spin up, and I thought some thing was wrong until I saw the BIOS screen.-Cool style. -Mine did not come with an internal speaker. Don't know if that's intentional or not, but I'm not marking it off because I don't care about that.-The energy button is flimsy, but was effortlessly fixed with a hot glue gun. -No side vent for better air flow, but the panels wouldn't be quiet without having it. I thankfully got this case when it was ุAR over two years ago, and I nonetheless really like it. Don't be too rough on the energy button although.

Quiet (love the silicone tough drive mounts), Very good Ventilation (although you have to get your own 92mm fans up front) The swing-open front faceplate is very good notion, except you can't open it without removing the side panel, which type of defeats the purpose. This is a excellent case for my new Core i7 develop. Fits my lengthy video card, massive CPU cooler and has a lot of ventilation with the built-in 120mm and two further 92mm fans.

This is a pretty solid case. I bought it when I built my current desktop a few years ago and have been very happy with it. It's very good at sound isolation and has good airflow considering it's backed into a corner (with some rear clearance under my desk.My one warning would be measure your video card and find some specs as to the size of the case. I had to take a hacksaw to the rear part of the lower drive bay to make an extra centimetre or so of room for my videocard.

Solid design, nice finish, door opens up and makes it possible for access to filter which is much nicer style then prior Antec case i own. Bar below the Energy supply, i know its there for support but its very annoying. The fan in the front has a mount and i cut that up to generate a lot more air flow

Open case with simple access for installation. Great airflow and control over individual fans. Slide out challenging drive bays had been straightforward to use. High excellent parts and style. Cable management is a bit poor, particularly if you don't use a modular power supply. Depending on your video card length, you may possibly run into trouble seating it against your cables + challenging drives. Sucks dust like a vacuum without having a dust filter. 1 of the greatest instances I have ever owned. This was a joy to work with when installing all of the PITA parts of a new construct. The case doesn't have as numerous attributes as some of the newer and superior situations 鿆, 1200) but you can commonly choose this one up for a great deal more affordable (๖-80 with free of charge shipping) each so frequently.

Excellent high quality built into this case ... clean basic aesthetics (*cough*not a nine-hundred), straightforward to access controls, cable management, and most importantly: its developed about being SILENT -- actually, what much more could you ask for? - too short for larger graphic cards (i had to cut away component of my hdd cage to fit in a 260gtx vid card - but my 8800gt fit fine)- front door hinges method could be a better design - 92 mm fans for front intake difficult to find (should have been 1- 12cm)
