Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound

This is great if you use thermal paste often I build alot of gaming systems so I use this all the time so it a better buy for me then the small 3 gram tube.

Compared to the 3.5 gram, the 12 gram is definitely a better deal if you use these thermal pastes quite often. Arctic silver is a well known thermal compound brand and the Arctic Silver 5 has some good reviews compared to other thermal pastes. Quality of cooling factor is also determined based on how you apply the thermal compound during application. Make sure the surface you apply it too is clean and free of debris and previous used compounds. Over application can result in overflowing when the heat sink is placed on top, which could there in touch circutry and cause damage to computer components. try to spread the compound evenly using a credit card or similar type of object. All in all, a well good product for those thermal compound enthusiasts.

Glad to see NCIX is finally stocking these. I go through the 3.5 gram tubes fairly quickly (1 every couple months) due to the volume of computers I deal with. This saves me from having to keep going back as often. My only complaint is the price, but this lends itself to the saying "You get what you pay for". Will continue buying as long as they are stocked here.
