Outstanding thermal paste when applied correctly. Non-conductive. Which means you can't fry your electronics with it. Using a razor blade or an exacto knife is suggested. The pellet system has by no means worked for myself. I instead use a blade to spread out a thin sheet on both the cpu and the heatsink. For the HS, I actually do mean THIN. Refer to the AS application directions on the HS. Fill in the micro-canyons! The result in speedfan for me is 25c core, 34c cpu ~ idle. The highest I've noticed it go is 47 below prime 95 immediately after 15 hours of torture test and no AC on. Ambient temps around 35c (day)That's on a Phenom II BE 555 @ four.0ghz. I also applied this to my mosfet, nb, and sb heatsinks 龰 gxh) as nicely as m 9800 GTX+ Exact same application technique, a minimum of 6c in distinction among them all. Substantial! Takes time and patience. Invest a dollar fifty additional and buy the 22g tube? two.5g for 5.50 or 22g for 7.00... HMM...

-It is fairly inexpensive and one tube can last for several uses-Does increase thermal transfer efficiency by a lot more than my old OCZ thermal paste -None I replaced the Sempron 140 (that I got for free) in my pc with a Athlon II X3. I had a Scythe Mugen Katana and temps ranged from 35 degrees idle to 47 degrees full load. Right after changing the CPU and scraping off the old OCZ compound that I had utilized, I employed the Arctic Silver compound- following a 24 hour break in period, temps ranged from 35 degrees to 44 degrees, which is really fairly a reasonable improvement at full load when you look at that the Athlon X3 outputs way far more heat than the Sempron! I also cleaned out my laptop heatsink and replaced the OEM compound with Arctic Silver- laptop now stays cool on the surface even although the air vent is burning hot. Overall, don't expect massive improvements, particularly if you've been employing decent thermal paste paste in the past, but this is surely a incredibly great item and can aid you with full load temperatures on seriously hot-running CPUs.

Keeps my Phenom II BE @ 38C idle @ dual core four ghz, full load 50ㅮ. Goes lower if I turn on the AC in the house. It is sticky. So use a razor blade. A rapid tip. Use a razor blade to perform with this stuff. Put a thin sheet of it on both the cpu and the heatsink. I followed the instructions, didn't like my temps - reapplied and spread it out evenly. I did this to my gpu and cpu currently and lowered both temps dramatically in comparison to older temps. About a10c drop.

Purchased rather on Silver five, mainly due to cost. Researched and couldnt come across a benefit of five vs Ceramique. I have a Phenom II x2 550 BE unlocked to quad and overclocked to three.7Ghz with a Cooler Master Hyper 212. Temps are 51*C Max following 12 hours of Prime 95, something else temps stay under 38*C and idle is 31*C. None, unless you like spending additional. I purchased the 22g tube of Ceramique for ů w/ cost-free shipping and it was worth every single penny. My smaller three.5g tube of Arctic silver five ran out and I read some pretty good reviews about Ceramique and the price is just astounding. The paste itself is quite straightforward to apply. Just follow the directions on the artic silver web site. My temps were essentially the identical as Artic silver five if not superior. I'm idling in the mid 20s and at full load in the mid 50s. And I still have a lot of paste to spare! None :) Compared to the top rated thermal pastes like IC Diamond 7 or MX-two and what not, Ceramique does a fine job only lacking a few degrees from its leading competitors. I highly recommend it!

Keeps my CPU coolNot as messy as I thought it would be I haven't noticed a massive drop in temperatures like I thought I would. I might have had unrealistic expectations though simply because I don't know what type of thermal compound my CPU had on it prior to. My idle temperatures appear to have dropped about 1-2C, I was expecting a little more. The ASC was significantly simpler to apply than I thought it would be, I think because it is thicker that makes it much easier to function with.

Keeps my CPU nice and cool. Even stock coolers can benefit heavily from this compound so don't feel you need to have an aftermarket CPU cooler to justify this stuff. It'll extend the life of your processor by leaps, so it's worth a little additional money. Sticky Just make confident not to put too a lot on! Much less is much more!

got 2 syringes + shipping for below บ. only 1-2 days bake in time. dropped my temps from 35-38C idle, 50-58C stressed to 31-35C idle, 43-48C stressed! not a con for AS Ceramique, just NewEgg. eggsaver shipping took 10 days, not counting Sundays, to get to my residence. not worth the few dollars saved vs UPS. utilized rice grain strategy (though it was a fat grain) and tinted the heatsink first. never ever tried AS 5 but from 200 hrs to 25 hrs is a huge distinction in bake in time. A S does not B S!

Wonderful Stuff, lowered my temps 10c on an overclocked Athlon XP 2800+ soon after operating BurnInTest. runs at about 32 C idle, and only about 40 C full load. works good and if i need to I WILL get it once again. My own fault.. I hadnt carried out this prior to and i had a bit of a mess on my cpu b/c it came out too quickly. OOPS! Not a lot in the tube, but ehh it was Ů! If you want it, it works wonderful for a fast, inexpensive, and powerful cpu cooldown by 10 C.

High high quality grease.Won't brief out your mobo.Arctic Silver's internet site shows detail directions for application. none. I always employed the inexpensive stuff thinking it was all the very same. Just from applying the stuff you can tell how much higher top quality it is. I can't seriously tell if this grease basically keeps the CPU cooler since I used it on a new fan. But considering that it's protecting expensive gear, why not use the greatest?

Amazing stuff! :D (Quite a distinction in comparison to compounds that come under or with most components.)- Works wonderful on the five or more cpus I've covered with my last tube (and I still have a fair amount left.) - Noticed an improvement in temperature when overclocking with this vs. the normal intel compounds.- I've suggested this to others, have helped them go by way of at least half a tube, and they also appear to come across it's worth acquiring a tube. Don't get it on anything but the heatsink and matching surface? aka. None therefore far!(As with most thermal compounds, attempt not to get it on your clothes, in your mouth, or put too a lot between two surfaces. That way you don't make a mess or waste the stuff.) Saved my graphics card! My card came from the factory, and ran waaay to hot, even when idling (which I documented, and noted causing corruption in some games). Warning: Do Not do this! But at risk of loosing warranty in the case that the card may have already been gone, I removed the heat sink, cleaned and applied the Arctic Silver, and then reseated the heat sink. And behold, it ran Much cooler, and was no longer overheating.

Comment:
Have utilized this compound for years with out a single difficulty. Non-metallic formula so no electrical conductivity. Extremely comparible to AS five and in MHO safer to use. Incredibly small required per use. Thicker and stickier than some of the other which makes for a little harder application. But, to me it is worth the effort. A tip just in case you didn't know. If you need to have to eliminate your heat sink soon after utilizing this compound you should run your system for a couple of minutes to heat the processor. This will make the compound much less gluey and save you some bent pins. Almost certainly accurate for any thermal paste, but actually a great concept for the ceramique
