Amazing Product
Comment:
This is an amazing product. Put it anywhere on the dash and snap-lock the GPS. Store in the trunk, no unsightly marks on the windshield or on the dash.

Very Nice Product
Comment:
This certainly solves a problem. It is sturdy, can be placed almost anywhere and easily moved to gain entry to consoles, etc. or be hidden away when leaving the vehicle. It is a little large and clumsy when moving, but that is necessary to obtain the stability.

Works as advertised
Comment:
This is a simple product which does the job. Nothing more and nothing less. My windshield mount worked fine except my GPS was hard to see during the day due to sun glare. The Nav-Mat allows me to place the GPS further back on the edge of the dash, so I can see it better, with less glare. (The other alternative is to glue a mounting plate to the dash... kind of messy.) The price has been lowered so its a better deal now.

Great concept, little large...
Comment:
The concept of this GPS holder accessory is solid. It's quite heavy and the non-slip surface on the bottom really does what it says. The only con to this product that I can see is the lack of physical specs given in the description. This item is actually quite large. It has a diameter of approximately 7 inches. At first I thought it wouldn't fit in my car but it did. It's not much more of an obstruction than the GPS' own mount would be if it were stuck on my windshield. Those with very little dashboard space available might want to try the cup holder or vent mount GPS holders instead. If you do have room on your dashboard, it's a great little product. To keep my gps mounted in it securely (the suction cup sometimes comes off) I've wrapped an elastic band around the whole unit which keeps the mount from tipping out of the beanbag holder and falling into my lap while driving. If you're going to use this mount all the time, try the adhesive disc for more secure mounting.

Agreed
Comment:
I agree with the positive reviews below. This thing really holds on. I use it both on the passenger seat and the dash, alternately. I've had good luck with it.

I have owned two of these, and neither ever slipps. I can't even MAKE it slip. Holds the dash Snug. Not sure how someone can make this pad slip on the dash unless they put it on news paper, or they did something wrong. Perfect device to get the GPS off your Windsheld. Easy to hide too when you park. Entire unit can be placed in the floorboard. 5 stars all around!

I was skeptical at first. No reason to be. This holder works on ANY dash, fully adjustable and well built. Got it with my Magellan 4040 (also at at Tiger for $99). Great prices & service.

I wanted something, and this just caught my eye based on price. I got one and then got one for my daughter. These really are good. Works by weight and friction. They keep your GPS where you want it, are easily moved, and leave no tell-tale rings to invite thieves.

Got this with my Garmin 200W. Works great. The GPS mount attatched with no problem, and it really does stay still on your dash. My dash is angled toward me and I got on a residential street and jerked the car a few times, didn't even shift an inch with the GPS mounted. The best thing is this unit is half the price of other stores. Listed at $45 at best buy. Thanks tiger.
