COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP Case Fan
Comment:
Purchased two of these for a modded create. Move a ton of air for their size, the semi-transparent acrylic blades are sexy following you eliminate the CoolerMaster hologram sticker from the front. As other reviewers have stated this fan gets loud and is not what is advertised although I wasn't expecting a silent fan with how a lot air these move. Modded my case to use one as a best exhaust fan, these fans don't like hanging upside down, the front "standing" fan is near silent, the leading "hanging" fan needed TONS of function to kill vibration that was hammering my case. I am getting a new case that will have preinstalled fans, these two will now be installed on the Hyper 212 CPU heatsink I am also ordering, I assume becoming buried inside the case and both mounted vertically these will function quiter but I will rate them once again as soon as the order comes in.

COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP Case Fan
Cons:Screws they came with are silver. It seems that the fans can only be used as exhaust. I tried putting one as intake and noise level was horrible even at 1000RPM. At 2000rpm I was grinding my teeth.

Pros:Lot of air goes through
Comment:
At 200rpm as exhaust I could hear them but it was not bad at all. When I am not using PC for anything resource heavy I turn them down to 100rpm at can barely hear anything. The screws should have been black. But that's a small thing.Otherwise I am pretty happy. I ran a test for 1 hour maxing out CPU and it barely got above 45C with this fans sucking the hot air away. That's the important thing for me.

Comment:
- Low-cost- Excellent air flow and pressure- quiet - Im not certain if I just got a bad set, but I ordered four of them and they began to vibrate which brought on my entire case to vibrate which brought on loud humming noises. I would give them another likelihood given that I didn't see any person else having the identical vibration difficulty, but I already ordered some Scythe fans which have some excellent evaluations as properly.

COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP Case Fan
Comment:
Quiet, appear good, and move alot of air. Comes with a adapter but they have a fairly long 3pin cord themselves already. None I have these all connected to a Asus Maximus II. With QFan disabled they run at their max speed, for the 90 CFM (check CMs site for full detailed specs) and they truly do move that considerably air but are louder, in all probability 24dba which isnt poor taking into consideration the quantity of air they move. With QFan enabled, they run @ 1200 RPMs and are near silent, I hear my hard drive over them. Regrettably with them plugged into the motherboard, I couldn't get them to go at their rated speeds or CFM, to get this I had to plug them into the adapter. I feel the specs are dead on about the amount of air and noise they create for 69CFM @ 19dba. These are the very best fans I have come across yet, minus not being able to use my motherboard headers, but thats very easily solved with the adapter. I have two of these, plus 2 of the blue version (LED) cooling my method now, and temps have dropped considerably five-10C depending on which portion of the program.

COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP Case Fan
Comment:
Moves a lot of air! Very loudRPMs didn't show up Airflow is opposite of what you think This unit moves a ton of air...but it sounds like a turbine! Hear it all the way down the hall in my home. But according to the item information this thing is supposed to be silent. I was disappointed to say the least. The fan has a 3rd wire which ought to let you watch the RPMs on this, but guess mine was faulty. It didn't give any readings whatsoever. Installation was also a bit wonky. I didn't see any airflow directions on the fan itself and figured the holographic sticker would logically be the front, but I was wrong. I had to dismantle and turn the fan around...bit of a hassle, but not too huge of an concern. If you have to have to move air in your case and not need to worry about all the noise, then this unit might be for you.

COOLER MASTER R4-C2R-20AC-GP Case Fan
Comment:
Fans move a lot of air at low rpm. Fit and finish appear superb. I bought 6 fans at the very same time. four of the 6 fans are noisy as all get out. I purchased the Coolermaster's to go with my new Coolermaster 690 Case. Whilst they push sufficient air that the exhaust stays cool at max loads the sound and vibration are driving me mad. I am trying some anti vibration connectors as soon as they come subsequent week but there is so considerably noise and vibration I am not positive it will aid. Disappointing performance
Comment:
You get what you pay for. I bought two for my build. One was a little loud for what was advertized, but I could overlook that, however the fan got louder and stopped working after about two days. The other fan had the same fate, it took two days longer. I purchased two Silenx Ixtrema 120mm, 18 dBA, 90 cfm for replacements and have had no problems.

Tops in air cooling solutions.
Comment:
I have 4 of these in my case and lets just say that heat is not an issue. As for noise, I use headphones when I game and I'm too cheap to water cool or worry about going silent at the cost of performance. I have all 4 of mine running at 100 percent whenever it's game time, which is every time I start my computer. Definitely recommended if you don't care about noise, the performance is definitely a reason to buy to keep a reliable system a lot longer.

They Spin -- They Move Air -- That's What You Want
Comment:
Reasonable price, well constructed for a fan in this price range. The ones I purchased had blue leds in them but they were the identical fans. Slightly noisy at full 2,000rpm. However, at 1,600rpm they are very quiet, and deliver nearly the same air flow. Cannot understand the people complaining that the screws don't fit or the fan body wasn't threaded. These people obviously have never installed a screw designed to self tap into plastic. There is nothing wrong with the design, just the people doing the installation. The only thing I cannot comment on is longevity, but hey for this price, a life time guarantee is not expected. The only Cons I can think of, is the fact that these fans will not self install, and they will not cure the common cold.

Quiet and moves a lot of air
Comment:
Very quiet. The only noise this fan makes is from the air that it moves, which is a good amount. I bought a speed control with it and I can hardly hear the difference from the lowest speed to the highest speed. A friend of mine that builds computers said that it was one of the quietest fans he had heard for the amount of air it moves.

Great Fan, Misleading DB level
Comment:
Awesome fan, moves A LOT of air but I purchased it because of it's 19db rating however, when i hooked it up it seemed to be a RATHER loud 19db lol. If undervolting, this fan is perfect. At lower RPM's it still moves A LOT of air very quietly.

Great quiet fan
Comment:
This is an amazingly quiet fan, virtually no noise at full RPM. It states 90cfm, I'm not sure if it really is pushing that much air but it does have quite a good airflow. My case setup may actually be slightly restricting it.
