I installed this cooler on 4 different mobos. 1 of them was a tight fit but the others weren't bad at all. It all depends on the motherboard itself.It keeps intel cpus 10-15 degrees cooler than the stock cooler.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE! this fan took soo long to install!! the pins are soo hard to push down and lock in, youd seriously think youve cracked the motherboard. My thumb went through too much pain and i lose WAYY too much time installing this fan. When i did install it, the computer kept freezing because it wasnt sitting flat onto the CPU because the design doesnt take into consderation the possible resistors on the mb. Please, just avoid this

Had a heck of a time locking the pins down, broke one and waiting for a replacement. Easy install my butt!

THIS FAN IS JUNK! Get one that doesnt have these flimsy crappy push pins. they arent hard to figure out, but they dont hold well and the metal brackets they are on are warped, i couldnt get them very straight. Took an hour to get it installed after all the fighting and its just a mediocre fan, get what you pay for

Great performing fan, and excellent price. The only drawback is the push-pin connectors. Mine worked fine, but not my ideal method of connecting.

Good performing fan!, little loud, but got my cpu temp at 24''C. Running hard at 30''C. At overclocked fan controller at 4600 RPM. So Far, it's sweet! for the price.

This fan uses plastic push pins to connect and hold it to the motherboard. We were never successful in getting the pins to ''click'' into place and secure the fan. Finally, in desperation, one of us held the fan to the motherboard while the other pulled the pins from the backside with needle-nose pliers. I will make sure I buy something that uses a different approach next time.

Great for price, i run it on my Q6600 for a month, was able to oc to 2.82Ghz, not bad for the $10 i pay, 100% stable, load 67c

Bought this fan for an Intel Dual Quad 6700 and it cant keep up! only when I take my side panel off it will idel at 40C but with the panel on it is constantly setting off my temp alarm. Actually even had my computer shut off because of over heating. I should have gone with something else that has higher RPMs, But at least I know it will fit a 790i Ultra SLI (not leaving more than 10 mm between the heatsink).

I got this fan yesterday and triedto install on it but couldn't. Very hard to install, i spent atleast an hour trying to put it on and i just couldnt. i think i might have to remove my mobo then put it on. other than that it came the next day after i ordered. Thanks TG

you get what you pay for... this is not a good cpu fan. Typical idle temps are in the low-mid 30C's. This fan idled at 40-45C. If you have a Q6600 or bigger this fan is not recommended!

Great price, especially given its great performance. Installation would have been easier with screws, but once it decided to lock in I've had no problems. No frills but no problems.

Just built last night...Ultra Grid ATX w/500W Ultra V Series PSU, MSI P4M900M2-L Via P4M900 Socket775, Intel Pent. D 925 3.0Ghz 4MB Cache 800FSB Pressler Dual Core, topped w/this Cooler Master X Dream 4 CPU Cooler, Maxtor Ultra 300GB showing 320.07 usable HD capacity, Corsair TWINX Dual Channel 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667Mhz (2X1024MB), w/64MB window set aside for the onboard Vid. chipset reading 1982MB Total, but each registers 1024MB installed in Slot DIMM0 & Slot DIMM1 using Belarc Advisor, running Vista Ultimate 32bit. Nobody can say Vista is slower than XP anymore (the new hardware makes an extreme difference...that CPU Cooler is a dream to install nice and tight, and draws real well through the case side funnel and does so very nice and quiet at 60 Degrees F @ approx 2445 RPM!) This baby screams and tested overclocking is very easy and cool, backed it back down as it is quite fast enough. Great Cooler! Great Price! I'll be back for more.

bought this fan for my quad core duo 2.4, but not sure if i should use it after seeing it's not on the list of supported cpu's, so i called cooler master support, they said they couldnt say whether it would work or not, helpful huh?

Must work at least as well as the stocker but I went with an OEM E4500 so I needed something and 10 bucks is hard to beat. Running cool at 2.9GHZ with no problems, passed a 24 hour Orthos beating even! Plenty good for me.
