CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:was a touch expensive for what I was getting

Pros:On the QVL of the ASUS p5b-plus
Comment:
Note, I got this at a sale price 3 months ago. The price has come down to a more reasonable price right now.It was a bit stiff to buy then, but it was on the asus p5b-plus QVL. I needed it to test and verify that the OCZ ram I got was garbage. It works great, and can be used to post any system since it only requires 1.8v.Recommended, but you can still get cheaper stuff.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:timingsfrequency

Pros:very cheap price667corsair brand
Comment:
I buy two of these modules for my barebone and I am very proud . I get them for a very cheap price 30$ in a sale so I can not be wrong with that sale. Even if the frequency is not very high, I can run my 3800X2 very well ans play games like my other 800mhz memory modules permits me. For desktop and video playback it is very great particularly for a value rig.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:not compatible with all mobos.

Pros:Great price, cant beat it.
Comment:
I have 3 gigs of this stuff in two systems. Its working great and im very happy with the purchase. I did have a problem with another board and this memory. I was unable to determine if it was the board or the RAM causing the problem. I do know that its not compatible with everything. Try to determine if its compatible with what you have before you buy.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:Not the best for overclocking...get other sticks for that!

Pros:Bought a stick a few months ago, and just purchased 2 more.
Comment:
For general use this ram is great...on sale for $35 cannot be beat...for now. I would not recommend this for overclocking; other more expensive sticks are available for that!cheers,

This is some quality RAM. No problems with in. Bought two individual sticks and run them in Dual Channel just fine. Cheaper than getting the kit.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:none i've found so far

Pros:good, inexpensive, solid ram
Comment:
Bought this to add to another DIMM I already have in the machine. I don't overclock much, so it's a bit hard to say anything constructive, because the RAM just _WORKS_. No ifs, no buts, just solid performance. I've used Corsair ValueSelect for a while, having bought a few of their 1GB DDR1 sticks, which are still humming along perfectly in my other machines - so very happy with their memory.

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:Strangely, it was a bit of a tight fit ...

Pros:Good price, reliable, it's Corsair!
Comment:
I swear by Corsair, and this is just another great example why. I've used pretty much every brand out there ... I like to try other brands once in awhile just to compare. I always come back to Corsair ... they're just good modules for a good price. Sure, you might pay $5 more for a corsair module than you would for a Kingston, but the quality difference is amazing. Corsair sticks always fit nicely. This one fit a bit too snugly, but nothing terrible. It's been my experience that most of the cheaper brands fit either WAY TOO TIGHT, or too loosely. Corsair sticks are always snug & secure, and don't break the board when you insert it.

Excellent memory with lifetime warranty. It only takes 1.8V so compatibility should be good. I'm using this module in a Biostar TA690G motherboard and it works fine at the rated speed/timings. Have not tried overclocking.

Pros:Cheap, easy to install, CHEAP!

I was able to clock these to 5-5-5-15 at 756MHZ with 1.9Volts. This setting ran memtest for 20 passes over 8 hours no errors. I purchased them on sale so 2 GB only cost $120! That's a great deal!

CORSAIR 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory
Cons:no heatsinks thus they look plain.(not like they are really necessary for this kind of ram)

Pros:inexpensiveCorsair Brand
Comment:
The prices keep droping on this fairly decent memory. I have used Corsair Value RAM on many builds and overall its been an overall positive experience, I think i only ever had one problem with Corsair, and that was with a much more expensive model line, not the value series line. Probably the best thing about these is general overal compatibility with most motherboards. I personally never overclock any pc's i build so i dont konw how these would fair under such conditions, however i would probably recommend a higher end model if overclocking is your goal, since that is not the target market these sticks are aimed at.Overall the best reason to buy these is price, and so long as NCIX continues to drop the prices on this RAM i will continue to buy them for my builds.
